A traditional but modern 4/6 persons' Javanese villa, located on a big private land, with great views over Yogyakarta and Mt Merapi.
One main bedroom with a king-sized bed (and an additional queen-size bed if needed), facing the main garden.
One great bathroom with a comfortable terrazzo-made bathtub, shower, hot water, laundry corner.
One living room facing both the South/view over Yogyakarta and the central garden, full of natural light, with an extra queen-sized bed. The living room is blessed with a panoramic terrace facing the South, and the Boyong river valley.
This place is for people wishing to be outside of Yogyakarta city's heat and traffic and to enjoy the province from a calm and peaceful spot.
Our guests mostly enjoy the views, the fresh air, the comfort of the villa, the terrazzo-made bathtub, the three very comfortable beds, the terrace with its kitchenette facing the Boyong river valley, the private parking, and the fact that the land is big compared to other Java piece of land.
I only have one villa for rent, implying that there will be no other guests at the time you are with us. I am NOT a hotel, it's my own private house that I put on rent for visitors.
I am pet-friendly, i.e. I accept dogs (and other pets as well), who love my place as there is a huge space for them to run around.
Perfect for nature lovers, birders wishing to see birds, people in need of privacy and tolerance, people wishing to do the Merapi Lava Landmarks jeep tour (that I can organise directly from the villa, the jeep coming to pick you up at our place, avoiding you the need to book the tour on Jalan Kaliurang) or any other Kaliurang touristic activities, families or couples.
We are located 2 km South-West of Kaliurang, near-by the Museum Merapi and other famous landmarks. It's only a 40 minutes drive to Yogyakarta downtown, and an hour 40 minutes to the new Yogyakarta International Airport. We can help organising transport if needed, as there is a car rental in our Kemiri village, making it easy to book you a car with driver to take you around, greet you at the Yogyakarta airport etc.

I am a Javanese woman. For 17 years I was living abroad, I was following my husband all around the world for his work (with the International Committee of the Red Cross).
So I put my villa for rent while I was away.
No my husband is retired, we are back on our land in Yogyakarta. But I continue to put our villa on rent, as we have two houses, and stay in the first smaller one when guests are around.
I like being host for different reasons, of course it brings money but also, it's a pleasure to have people around, and to try to make their stay as comfortable as possible. I did travelled a lot myself, and I am happy to return the care I got when I was on the road.
So I put my villa for rent while I was away.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
I bought this land 20 years ago, because of its location and great scenery. I always wanted to be at the entrance of a village, in order to have more privacy. I felt in love with this big piece of land, and its fantastic views over Yogyakarta and the Mt Merapi. Plus the fact that it's along the Boyong River, and blessed by the sound of the dam's waterfall.
My land is 11.000 m2, there is a lot of place, a huge garden, giant bamboos, great tropical vegetation.
My village is named Kemiri, friendly villagers who have received us well since we have moved here. It's a simple, but beautiful village, that you are welcome to walk through if you feel like going for a little walk.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
The answer to this question is quite easy: you just do not find easily a 11.000 m2 piece of land in crowded Indonesia! My property is unique in this sense, it is huge, the Villa Limasan for rent is as far as possible from the road, in order to avoid traffic noises. You can easily retreat on the land for a few days without meeting anyone, which is very rare for Java/Yogyakarta standards.
So people who enjoy the calm and the nature will love staying here.
This being said, we are not in the middle of Sumatra jungle, there are restaurants, touristic activities near-by, and it's easy to reach us by car, or car applications such as Grab or GoCar.
You will spend a lot of your time on the terrace facing the South, looking at the Boyong river valley, and, in the distance, Yogyakarta (beautiful at night) and even the Indian Ocean that you can see 60 km away!
So people who enjoy the calm and the nature will love staying here.
