Here you'll enjoy a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in our newly built one bedroom cottages on Isle Madame, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Each cottage has everything you need to relax and recharge for a couple of days, week or month. Enjoy the amazing views from this secluded spot. With calm waters for kayaking, standup boarding, snorkelling or just relaxing. Great location for biking, hiking and water activities.

Our ocean front lot with three one bedroom cottages at 384 square foot and private deck. Each cottage features a queen bed, full bathroom with large walk-in shower, washer/dryer, full kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, dining table and sofa-bed for extra guests. Includes mini-split heat pump for heating and air conditioning. Free high speed internet, a Smart TV and we provide an exclusive streaming experience for your favorite movies and TV shows throughout your stay.
We provide a starter pack of essentials—including a small supply of toilet paper, paper towels, k-Cups/Tea, Spice Rack and basic condiments—but you’ll be responsible for picking up anything additional you may need during your stay.
We provide Kayaks and Stand-up boards with life jackets to use during your stay. Once the weather turns too cold(winter months), kayaks and stand-up boards are no longer available for use. BBQ and Firepit(supplies provided) for each cottage with outdoor seating. Free Parking by each cottage for one vehicle. Cottages are not setup for young children or babies. No Pets allowed. Shared outdoor space.

Blue Cottage

The Caper Cottages are well designed, appointed with everything a guest could ever want and provide a quiet, tranquil retreat in a most wonderful location. The stocking of the fridge and cupboards was greatly appreciated. The cottages are staggered on the site which provide privacy while still offering great views of the bay with its tidal changes. The propane fired BBQ was very welcome. Linda & I will be back!

Unforgettable moment. Very reccommendable!

This is one of the most unforgettable vacation I had with my husband. The place is perfect! If it was just possible for us to extend our stay we will. All that you need they have provided it. Our main plan is to go to the well known Cabot trail, but when we saw how beautiful the cottage and the location is.. everything changed. We decided to stay and just relax and enjoy. They have kayak and paddle board with life vest as well! We were able to experience both sunrise and sunset as well! We'll definitely go back next year with friends! :-)

Amazing spot!

Tania was awesome, the cottage was brand new and beautiful, great for a couple. The use of kayaks was an added bonus. Definitely recommend id give more than 5 stars if i could.

My girls and I loved the location and all the amenities. We did some kayaking, the cottage had air conditioning, and a kitchen for making meals. It was perfect.

What a wonderful surprise to find these new and beautiful cottages in the village where I grew up. Situated by the water and privacy on the front porch no matter which cottage you stay in. The queen and sofa bed are very comfortable with nothing but the best of linens. Lots of towels,face cloths and pillows. The kitchen is very well equipped and even provides a selection of spices along with pepper and salt, not to mention glad and foil wrap along with plastic storage containers for your leftovers. The owners reached out to us and left their phone number and email address, should we have needed anything. This is the best of the best in VRBO'S! I will be back. Thank you Tania and Chris.
