Sandy ¡FRENTE A LA PLAYA Retiro en la costa norte ubicado en la playa de Hukilau de Laie Bay! Nuestra hermosa casa es conocida como el 'Retiro de la playa de Laie', pero podría llamarse la Casa de las Tortugas. Nuestra casa tiene una ubicación ideal; el arrecife termina al este de nuestra casa. Hemos visto hasta 5 tortugas, surfeando, frente a nuestra casa. Estamos frente a la playa - ¡no es necesario cruzar la carretera para llegar a la playa!

La casa principal cuenta con 3 dormitorios y 2 baños, y hay un período adicional de dos casas de estudio para los huéspedes adicionales. Alquiler de la casa principal, una o ambas de las cabañas, o todo el edificio! Ver el océano desde la sala de estar y disfrutar de la cocina en nuestra gran cocina y el comedor, con dos superficies de cocción y dos refrigeradores. Relájese en el interior mientras disfruta de la brisa del mar y los sonidos durante el uso de nuestra TV, Wi-Fi, y nuestra ducha de agua caliente fuera privado!

Si desea más privacidad o el tiempo tranquilo, usted debe solicitar una o dos de las casas de estudio, además de la casa principal. Nuestra casa principal es una casa de playa hawaiana auténtica con una planta libre. El loft de arriba tiene la mejor vista al mar, y el dormitorio de arriba tiene una puerta corredera en un lado, y una pared de deslizamiento en el otro.

Foodland está cerca del centro comercial Laie, y está abierto todos los días, excepto los domingos. Los domingos, el Centro Comercial Laie y el Centro Cultural Polinesio están cerrados. La compra está disponible en Tamura y de Longs Drugs / CVS en Hauula, que es 2. 6 millas de distancia, y al Kahuku Superette, en Kahuku, que es 2, 5 millas de distancia.

Our family enjoyed our stay so much! Pam and Lesley are great! They were quick to respond to all messages and went out of their way to be accommodating. The house has plenty of indoor and outdoor gathering space, is private and safe for kids. Has plenty of supplies, beds, bedding and towels for a large family. No air conditioning but plenty of fans that we didn’t miss the air. The beach was perfect, not a rocky beach in front of their house. Saw the turtles! Just more than expected! We would definitely stay here again!

Hukilau 2021

This house sits on our favorite beach on Oahu. Pam and Lesley were so easy to work with and the house lived up to our expectations. The house was clean and had plenty of room for us. Sitting on the back deck and enjoying the ocean view and sound was a great way to spend an early evening. We will rent again when we have another family vacation. Thank you!!!

Wonderful Beach

This was is on an amazing beach. Sandy, nice waves, not crowded. It felt like your personal Hawaiian paradise. Home is older but comfortable and has all the amenities you need. Good location to visit the North Shore. We would definitely rent again.

Beautiful Beach

Our family loved this house. It was the perfect size for our family. The beach was absolutely beautiful and perfect for family fun. The sand is soft and the slope is gradual into the water so the kids could play safely in the shallows. The sunrise view is so perfect. We took many pictures of the sunrise each morning. There were plenty of beach toys and boogie boards for the kids. The outdoor warm shower was so nice to shower off the sand from the beach before going into the house. The house was well equipped with dishes, appliances, towels and beach towels. There are a lot of fun games, books, and things for families to do. The house was very clean when we arrived and the communication was good between the owners and us. The location is ideal if you are doing a lot of north shore activities. We would love to stay in this home again and would highly recommend it to our friends.

Heaven at the beach

This place was perfect for our stay. Great location in Laie and located on a great beach. The house was spacious and had plenty of amenities. The kids were excited to see some seats turtles and a seal. Will definitely stay again on our next trip back.

Wonderful place

Our family is anted to experience what Hawaii really has to offer. We decided to rent nice home on the beach instead of the crazy crowded hotels of Waikiki or Maui. We had a great time! The house has many beds to accommodate many yet we only needed 3, two fridges, 2 stoves and lots of amenities. Pam whom is one of the owners made sure we were enjoying our stay and let us know what was going on in the community. She gave us tips on where to go and what to do. The beach is quiet and was our own to boogie board and swim, surfing is just down the beach. The only thing is they had a charcoal grill and not a gas barbecue. We managed but had to retrain my skills on the charcoal. We had a great holiday that we will always remember.

Perfect location for a relaxing vacation

We are returning residents of Laie. We came back to the islands to visit and have a good vacation. This house was fantastic. Perfect location in Laie, right on the beach, walking distance to hukilau cafe & easy drive to everything. The house fit our large family of 8 perfectly with beds to spare...maybe next time we will bring the grandparents. I will definitely book this house next time we come to Hawaii!

Beautiful beach vacation

This house does not disappoint! The location couldn't be better for a relaxing vacation with amazing views and long stretches of nearly uninhabited beach. The house was very comfortable, clean and conveniently located within close proximity to groceries, etc. The owners are very accommodating and responsive and the house has all the supplies you need to enjoy the beach, grill dinner, and relax on the deck. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend!

Wonderful

Our priority was to stay at a place on the beach and this rental delivered. The beach is fantastic for swimming (even in the winter) with perfect size waves for the kids to boogieboard. The kitchen with two fridges, stoves, and ovens made it easy to cook for a large group. Great location away from the busy city but close to groceries and lots of food truck restaurants. The owner was helpful and wanted to make sure we had no issues. Very enjoyable stay!

Great family accommodations and location.

We are a family of 7 (Dad, mom and 5 kids ages 10-23). We cooked most all of our meals at home. This house had all we needed to cook, sleep, play board games and sit and enjoy the beach. The location of being on the beach, right on the main highway going around the perimeter of the island abd within 2-3 miles from the Polynesian Cultural Center made it convenient for visiting other beaches and sites. There is no air conditioning but there are plenty of windows and fans that make it very comfortable. If you want to get way from the crowds and enjoy a more intimate setting, this is a great place.

beautiful spacious property

Its the Hawaii you dream about. No crowds, no hustle and bustle. You have the freedom to do what you want when you want. And its on the water of a beautiful bay. I surfed Goat Island ( short walk) and caught the longest wave of my life. If Goat island is to advanced, there is the North Shore breaks just a short drive away. I call it my mini Magnum Pi compound. We always have a great time here and feel we belong

Fantastic Family Vacation Getaway

We stayed for two weeks and loved everything about the location. We had wonderful sunrises right out the back door every morning and loved watching the turtles swim in the ocean. The portion of beach behind the house was typically very secluded and perfect for the children we brought with us ranging from 1-14. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for our two week stay. We would definitely come and stay again.

Fantastic beach house in Laie

I was highly impressed with this beach house located off of a quiet stretch of turtle beach. There is a dune that provides privacy from people passing by on the beach. The outdoor shower with hot water was greatly appreciated. There are many locations on the property to relax. We barbecued in the patio near the front of the house, and sat in rocking chairs on the back deck to watch the sunset. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of cookware and appliances. The house has many floor and ceiling fans. One major benefit of staying here is the number of actual beds on the property. Most other listings use a lot of air mattresses. The spacious yard accommodated all of our cars with space left over for the kids to run around. Excellent customer service from the property manager. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Paradise !!!!

Our family had an amazing stay at the Laie Beach Retreat. The location of this property couldn’t be better. We loved that the backyard is steps away from the beach. There is a deck, a yard, and a knoll that all have spectacular views of the sea. We spent many hours enjoying the beautiful ocean views while drinking coffee in the morning, reading during the day, and then sipping beverages in the evening as the sun sets. The ocean issafe and super fun for young children and adults. It is perfect for bogie boarding, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming.The house is wonderful for big families or groups. It is large, roomy, and has everything that families of all sizes would need. There is a spacious living room with an ocean view,a dining room, a large kitchen, and amply eating space. There is a private upstairs bedroom with a loft. There is a downstairs bedroom with a bathroom. There are two separate cottages for individual families. There is also a large lawn area in the back of the house that can be used for parking, as well an area for children to play.The house is well stocked and clean. There are plenty of towels, bedding, board games,books, and a washer and dryer. There is a wonderful outside shower with warm water that is great after a swim in the ocean.We spent a lot of time relaxing, reading, spending time together, and enjoying the ocean. There are also outstanding local restaurants. We were able to go on challenging hikes that had varied degrees of intensity. It is a perfect way to spend a vacation. We loved everything about this family home and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!!!

Best Spot on the Beach and Great for a Large Group

As you walk the beautiful Laie Bay, you come to realize that this house has the perfect spot - it is right on the Hukilau Beach, but is far enough away from the beach park for privacy. Our kids loved the body surfing. We loved sitting on the mound overlooking the beach and spotting the turtles. This was a favorite, especially with the morning sunrises. There is a main house which has a huge open living room, dining room and kitchen with two cooking areas, where all 16 of us could gather. There was a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, as well as a private upstairs bedroom, and a sleeping loft. The two separate studio cottages gave each of the three families their own private space. We loved it.

Our family of 16 just concluded our stay at this lovely beach retreat. Choosing to stay on the quieter side of the island is always a priority. We loved being able to walk out onto the beach with the little ones. It is a very quiet tranquil setting and in March the waves were just right for boogie boards, and little guys. Our grandchildren loved the water and we felt 'safe' as they played in the waves. The older guys loved snorkeling and 'chasing' the turtles. The house fit our needs very well, and we loved having the extras like additional refrigerators, cook-tops and tables. The house is exactly as advertised. We are looking forward to returning again in a couple of years! Aloha and Mahalo

Fantastic Family Reunion

We had a fabulous time. This home was perfect for our family. The location was great. We loved the open floor plan. It was great to walk out the patio doors for a jog on the beach, a swim and then an outdoor, private, warm or cold shower. There is a small knoll just out the back door where you can watch the sunrise and ocean waves. There were plenty of games and books and toys for children. We never needed any towels. Plenty of beach and bath towels were provided. Our favorite local dining spots were 7 Brothers for awesome burgers and Titas Grill for barbeque. The grilled banana bread at The Farm Cafe was amazing. Foodland for groceries was within walking distance.(Closed on Sundays) Our girls went zip lining at Climb Works and enjoyed an unforgettable experience. Our family of 7; 1 senior, 5 adults, 1 teenager and a baby all agreed Laie Beach Retreat should get 4 out of 5 stars. Here are the reasons we didn't give it a 5. 1. The sliding doors on the beach side were very hard to operate. 2. Aside from the downstairs bedroom there is no privacy. We had 2 married couples in our family. 3. Everything in town closes on Sunday(Mormon temple is located here.) 4.Guests will need TP, laundry soap, consumable supplies such as paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, briquettes for BBQ. 5. Although the busy highway didn't bother us once we got inside, it was difficult to enter and exit the property due to the traffic. We scraped the front of our rental car more than once because of the steep incline. We would come back and recommend it to our friends.

Wonderful Family Accomodations & Ideal Location

We stayed the at Hukilau Beachfront House + one of the cottages with our group (7 adults, 4 yo, 2 <2yo + infant). We actually could have all stayed at just the house, but with an infant, decided to split out the one family so as not to disturb everyone if the baby was fussy, etc and it worked out beautifully. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together at meal times and spend evenings in, etc. The house is very well stocked with everything we needed bedding (even 2 pak'n'plays!) and kitchen-wise, including books and games for all ages, lots of beach toys, chairs and boogie boards, beach towels, private heated outdoor shower, etc. We loved how the house was situated- there is a nice back deck and yard with a little raised hill where a short sandy path though the beach grass leads back down to a perfect family beach. This worked out great to help keep the little ones safely corralled in and give some privacy from other beach goers, although we had wonderful ocean views. We had rented 2 mini vans and there was plenty of parking out front within the fenced and gated yard. Pam was wonderful to work with. Did I tell you we loved this place?

Home away from home...and a beach!

We absolutely LOVE this beach house. The home is so warm and wonderful and the location is the best on the island if you like relaxation! The town of Laie is beautiful and friendly. Everything you would need is available. The owners of the home are like good friends to us. We have stayed here 5 times and look forward to going again in 2014! If you want to relax and spend time on a beautiful beach, this is the place. The PCC is right around the corner. There are great snorkel places close by and turtles swim right by you all day long!

Always drawn to the north shore, we were finally able to acquire our dream vacation home in 2001 with the intent of having our families enjoy this spectacular beach. We immediately started a two-year complete renovation. We are now able to share our home and its oustanding location with you. We planned our renovations with families in mind and what they might need while vacationing at the beach. It's the small but important things - such as two refrigerators, two cooktops, a full size oven and microwave, a large gated yard for security and privacy. Having enough room for cooking, or enough fridge space for food and drinks, beach chairs to sit on the dune and enjoy the view, as well as peace of mind while your children enjoy playing on our grassy yard in a secure gated area - these are the type of details we have considered and hopefully you can enjoy our home as much as we do.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Location, location, location! Laie Bay is gorgeous and our location is ideal due to its sandy area in front of our home which makes for the best entry point to swim, bodysurf, boogie board. Reef is located to the east which is also good for snorkeling, turtle watching or surfing. Proximity to the Laie Village Shopping Center - walk down the beach and cross the road with the kids for shave ice or an ice cream treat.
