The Lakehouse is nestled on a serene point on Ossawinnamakee Lake near Crosslake, MN and the Whitefish Chain. This elegant, expansive 3-bedroom+MORE lakehouse offers a peaceful getaway. Enjoy modern amenities and rustic charm with tranquil lake views—perfect for sunbathing, swimming or boating. Relax by one of the fireplaces or on one of four decks. Play pool or find your zen in the yoga room. Watch loons in the canoe or pedal boat. (Guests should bring their own life vests, which are required by law, to ensure proper fit and safety). A strict no-pet policy ensures a pristine environment. Ideal for reunions, work and golf retreats.

This is a beautiful lake home, well-loved and enjoyed by all. The property has absolutely stunning views of the lake, private docking, and public lake access for the family boat, so you can bring your own boat for your stay.

The Lakehouse is an elegant hunter's retreat fit for those wanting comfort and to enjoy a peaceful indoor and outdoor experience. With Wi-Fi and all the modern luxuries of a new home - including a modern kitchen, lower-level bar and party area and a significant amount of extra sleeping spaces, you'll find peace and connection with your friends and family in this Lakehouse. You can read a book in one of the many comfortable living areas or enjoy time with yourself or others on one of the five attached patios.

When it's time to get outside, you can play at the small beach on one side of the property or swim off the dock on the other side of the land. At night with the kids, roast some marshmallows or build a fire from the wood that will be provided. Or just take a moment to gaze at the bright view of the stars on a clear night and enjoy breeze and sound of nature.

The Lakehouse on Ossawinnamakee Lake is a precious place to enjoy the beauty of Minnesota - summer, winter, spring or fall. Your experience, with a responsive, gracious host and/or maintenance people on-call, is poised to be a great one.

Awesome Property

My friends and I stayed at the property for a long weekend getaway. The property exceeded all expectations. The property host, Lauren, was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I wouldn’t think twice about booking this property again!

This house is spectacular. We had a group of 8 guys for a golf trip and this house was the absolute perfect setting to come home to each evening. We sat on the patio, dipped in the hot tub, played pool in the rec room, watched movies in the living room, even took the provided canoe out on the lake! The house and its interior are beautiful, and everything was clean and comfortable and Lauren was a very welcoming and responsive host. Would highly recommend for any group visiting the area!

Family Retreat at Ossawinnamakee Lake

This was a gathering of ten people including son/daughter, spouses and grandchildren. House is very spacious with a heavy man-cave feel (lots of stuffed animals and antler racks). The lot was very large and very private. It is at the end of a long drive around the lake so it takes time to get to Breezy Point or Pequot Lakes. It lacks a good swimming beach, but the lake is beautiful and clean.
