Perfect for a quick trip

Overall our stay was good. The owner was great with communication. When we checked in the elevator was broken so we had to carry everything up to the 2nd floor. They had maintenance at the building promptly to fix it. The unit was clean. The shower is very small! Great location! Right on the beach and walking distance to John's Pass, literally right across the street. Perfect for a quick get away. We would stay again.

Overall a very great place to stay for two people. Host was excellent with communication. Check in process very easy and friendly. Simple amenities. No beach view or balcony. We knew that before we arrived but also didn’t plan to spend a lot of time in the unit. Shower is small but nice. Would have liked to have a unit washer and dryer. No dishwasher but we didn’t need it this time. Very close to John’s Pass and all the attractions. Right on the beach. Nice area. Within walking distance to everything. Clean. Great for the price.

Reviewer Comments: Pleasant and clean but had some sort of small flying ball bugs randomly, no ice maker, bathroom on opposite side of condo separate from bedroom and could not turn air conditioner3 below 74 degrees because it was oils freeze up. Also only one elevator and this particular unit is on the front side of the condos but its parking spot is on the back side. Just sayin’.

Great location

We stayed in ths unit for a week. The place was very clean and large enough but no outside space. I really like a balcony and this did not have one. I knew that but thought I could do without. That is the only reason I would not book again.

Needs some attention

We love the location, pool, beach, John’s Pass. However, the condo is very simple- bare minimums. It desperately needs towel racks, and a hand towel rack for the bathroom, a mirror for the bedroom and another folding beach chair. Emphasis should be made on the low ceilings and the dangerously low ceiling fan in the dining area. Mention of a stall shower would be beneficial- it worked for us but may not work for all.

Don’t book during Seafood Festival

Property was wonderful - the unit was clean & comfortable! Unfortunately we checked in during the Seafood Festival being held across the street.The police guarding the parking area were overzealous in their enforcement & did not allow us to enter our designated parking spot until we explained that we were checking in. No apologies, just LOUD words!! Patience is a virtue. We will stay again but not during that particular weekend.

Not what we were expecting

The property has no view. The elevator is right next to the bedroom wall- too noisy. The street is loud. The shower would back up whenever dishes were done in the kitchen sink. We reported it 3 times without satisfactory resolution. The bathroom needs a good scrubbing; dust hanging from the bathroom exhaust fan and very dusty baseboards. The bed is comfortable. Ceiling fan in dining area is too low for tall people.

It would be nice to have bathroom facilities at the pool area, because our unit was across the parking lot and up stairs to second floor. Our unit was small and kitchen area did not have bowls and enough cooking items. Needed more items in the empty cabinets. We did not have a balcony but bedroom was nice and good bed.

Perfect getaway

The bathroom is off the kitchen away from the bedroom so I could wake up and shower and he could sleep in. It’s located right off the elevator, but we didn’t hear noise from it. No balcony but the price is cheaper than the other condos so they made up for it :) also it was very clean!

Vacation with family and friends

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Vacation rental was fine until air conditioner in room leaked into bedroom soaking carpet 4feet into room . The smell of damp carpet and under pad wasn’t pleasant. They pulled back carpet and placed a large fan to help dry carpet and area. Repair was done however left with dealing with this and smell of wet carpet. Had to turn off fan for sleeping but had to deal with damp smell. It’s a good thing we have relatives staying in another unit . Stay was not great in room. We have stayed in this unit before and some updates were done but still needs more . The kitchen cabinets and sink placement is so 70s. The fridge is rusted freezer shelving falli apart and fridge door inside bar falling off fridge is dented. The carpet in room not wet . Recommend removing carpet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 200 seems to be made from a former office. Odd layout (bedroom and bathroom on opposite sides of the living room). For the price there was lots of room and storage space. But it was in fairly bad shape. Fridge very rusted. Painting chipping in many places. Just 1 small towel rack in bathroom. No patio, not any view. But Beach Place is close to lots. The staff was all friendly and helpful. Other units may be better. No love for this unit though.

Good price, dated with a few issues

Reviewer Comments: Some issues were:Elevator noise day and nightAnt infestation (they sprayed one day while we were there but it did nothing to deter the ants.No mirror except small one over the bathroom sink.No drapes or curtains to block our streetlights at night. Only blinds (was like daytime in the bedroom 24/7.Small couch that wasn't very comfortable. Places clean on the surface but baseboards, doors, etc haven't been cleaned in years.The parking spot is for some ridiculous reason on the backside of the next building. Perfect location near everything.

If kitchen was to be updated Refrigerator is old and could be moved kinda restricts entrance to kitchen area. The whistling kettle has got to go. A auto shut off one would be nice. Also in bedroom in the open space another long dresser or a place to put luggage on a stand. All else was good
