The host was very accommodating with the recent winter weather! I was able to check in early and one day prior to travel ahead of the storm. Very responsive to questions via the VRBO app. The snack basket was helpful on my snowed in days!

Great house - very cozy

Beautiful home with great amenities. Close to local places to shop, eat and coffee shops. The host was fabulous and provided great communication we will definitely book this property again on our next trip to Indiana.

Wonderful Winter Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Beautiful home, clean, smartly laid out, everything you would need for a fun weekend away. Great walking distance ti downtown shops and museums. Owners were super responsive and very accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Great house! Beautifully renovated. Hosts had nice personal touches. With great info about local restaurants and activities. Only advice is to not ha e light sleepers in the front room by the road as you can hear the cars quite well.

Family weekend trip

My family had a lovely stay at this property. There were 5 adults and one child. There was plenty of space and we had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. We enjoyed being so close to the George Rogers Clark memorial and the downtown dining. Would definitely use this property again!

Everything Better than Expected

Very clean, well appointed, great location, and wonderful owner. As hot as it was (felt like over 100 each day), the air conditioning was capable of keeping the home cool and comfortable.Owner told us about Vincennes fair when we arrived, and gave us great advice on things to do, and was willing to help us out with a late check out if we had needed it. The place has been renovated so that everything was mainly new, and thoughtully designed. Definitely will use this place on another visit.

Beautifully renovated vintage home within walking distance to downtown and the riverfront. Comfy beds and lovely outdoor space. We watched the eclipse from the 2nd floor deck! Enjoyed meals on the ground floor patio. Covered porch allowed us to be outside even when raining. Street was alittle busy but we enjoyed being in the midst of life in Vincennes!

There are 8 of us ladies who have stitched needlework together for over 30 years. We try to find a location where we can sit and stitch, laugh, talk, cook, and enjoy each other's company. This place worked out perfectly as a central location for all of us.The home was lovely, newly renovated, and featured all amenities that we needed. The pictures didn't even do it justice. We brought a couple folding chairs and a card table, but that was extra for our stitching needs. Thanks to Tonya for helping in the arrangements and suggested eating locales. We will be back! Karen

Wedding Venue Stsy

We came to Vincennes for my stepdaughter’s wedding, and all of the groomsmen decided to stay with myself and my husband. We enjoyed the coziness of the house and how close it was to the venue. The Grand Bankquet Hall. I personally am very picky about B&Bs and would have preferred the house to be a little bit cleaner. Mostly the shower could have been deep cleaned better and the beds seemed a little old but overall we enjoyed the stay. The host was very helpful. I do understand the house is being gradually renovated. Very sweet home. The house does sit on a main road so there is lots of traffic and a train that goes by day and night. We are used to living in a rural area that has less activity.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the coziness of the house and its proximity to the Grand Bankquet Hall for your stepdaughter’s wedding. We appreciate your feedback about cleanliness and the condition of the beds. The interior of the house is fully renovated with the grounds still being completed. All of the bedding was purchased new in April of this year. The showers are scrubbed with bleach between each booking and the house gets a full cleaning as well. We understand that the main road and train noise in the front bedroom could be an adjustment, coming from rural area. We are located downtown. Your kind words about the host and the home mean a lot to us.
