With stunning views of the St. Louis River and convenient access to the water, 12 trailheads, and Spirit Mountain, this new (May 2024), beautifully appointed home celebrates the best of western Duluth. Owned by three proud Denfeld HS alumni (the “Hunters”), its design includes locally crafted outdoor furniture from Loll Designs, and cozy, eclectic interior furnishings expressing local, regional, and global influences. The two-floor layout maximizes flexibility for large groups and extended families. Each floor contains two bedrooms and a convertible sofa. Upstairs features an open floor plan with large entertaining spaces, including living area with fireplace, dining area, a full kitchen and pantry, and a large BBQ deck overlooking the river; downstairs has its own efficiency kitchen and river-view patio with BBQ and picnic table. Part of the RiverWest community, Hunters Lodge is the closest home to the river. The community offers easy access to nearby kayak and other boat rentals for exploring the river, and a wealth of year-round outdoor activities including downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, all kinds of biking, hiking, fishing, and more. Yet, I-35, Lincoln Park, Canal Park, Lake Superior and most Twin Ports destinations are all only minutes away.

This is a beautiful place to stay!!. We all enjoyed our stay here. The view of the pond and river behind the complex is just beautiful. The townhome is open and spacious and was super accommodating for our party of 7!! At the last minute one family was unable to join us.. so we were 4 people less than expected, but it would have been very accommodating for the additional people, as well. Another noteworthy mention is that for as open an area as the great room on the top level is, with vaulted ceilings, I would have expected it to be much chillier. The thermostat was set at 73 degrees and it was toasty warm when we arrived. We also ran the gas fireplace and were able to turn the heat way down because that also put out an amazing warmth. I would highly recommend! Jinell was very friendly and helpful, as well. If I have any complaint it would be that the paper products (paper towels and toilet paper) were poor quality for the cost of the accommodation. I also feel there should have been Kleenex available on the site.. but these are minimal complaints and I would definitely stay here again.. but would bring my own paper products. Thank you Jinell!

Great views of the St. Louis river with the fall colors. The house was bright and airy and was well appointed. Plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed this property and would rent again.

There was plenty of room for the 7 of us-and our dog. The views were wonderful, the neighborhood new but really nice, the house was beautiful.

Check in was simple. The kitchen was so well stocked that you could make almost anything or even entertain a group. Loved having basics like salt and pepper and some spices as well as plastic wrap, ziploc bags, and extra batteries. They really put thought into stocking all the things you would need. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and other supplies too. Everything in the house is well maintained and put together. A fire pit would be nice for the evenings.

We loved staying here! We're local Duluthians, but had friends coming into town and needed a bigger space to hang out in. The location is beautiful - one of our friends is a bird watcher and saw two new birds from the balcony on the back! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals, and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. We were especially grateful for the central air over a hot weekend. We'll definitely consider going back if we have another big get together!

Relatively new development in a great location for access to the trails and Spirit Mountain. Great views of water too. Lots of living space. Check out the pizza/cheese/ice cream place just a short walk away!

Great Girls' Weekend Getaway

We had a lovely stay for a winter girls' weekend. The kitchen was especially well-appointed, we had everything we needed to make our shared meals. There was plenty of room for all of us, both for working from computers during the day and for hanging out in the evening. We loved that there were four full bathrooms, and three king beds - it really was perfect for eight of us without feeling like we were on top of each other. We would absolutely stay again!

Family Christmas Get-Together

We had our family from around WI & MN meet at this beautiful property for our family Christmas. The space was so well layed out for our large group and there were plenty of areas for us to spread out, visit, play games and eat. The bedrooms were large and the king sized beds were very comfortable. All the furnishings were beautiful and great quality. The views were fantastic. The kitchen and butler's pantry were extremely well stocked with high quality items and everything we could possibly need. Everything was new looking, clean and comfortable in this gorgeous property.

Beautiful!!

Beautiful home with great views!! We woke up to an amazing sunrise everyday and ending everyday by the fireplace. We were in town for a small wedding and the large kitchen was perfect for making all the appetizers and desserts we needed to make. My family really enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be back!

The location is very good, 'The views out every window were great. The development is still under construction, so I'm sure it will be even better next year. At the foot of Spirit Mount, with water view! The very modern house was spectacular.
