Welcome to the Blue Forest Chalet! This newly remodeled home perfectly blends chic with woodsy for the ultimate Pocono Retreat. Whether you come for adventure or just to relax, we have you covered. Unwind and indulge in an art-filled bathroom with a Japanese soaking tub or sit outside and watch the deer roam by from your private hot tub. Located in the heart of the Poconos, just minutes from excellent Hiking, Skiing, Swimming, Kayaking, Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants, Waterparks, and more.
This 3BR/2BA property is located in a gated and amenity-rich community - 3 lakes, 2 (seasonally-available) swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer and baseball fields, volleyball courts and a small store.
A kayak can be provided for guests by request (seasonally available from April to October)
15 minutes drive to skiing and waterparks at Camelback Mountain. Delaware Water Gap. Kalahari. Shawnee. Hiking. Shopping.
* BEDROOMS:
Bed 1 - Master bedroom (King) with private bathroom and private balcony/deck (upstairs)
Bed 2 - Guest bedroom (Queen) with private balcony/deck (downstairs)
Bed 3 - Guest bedroom (Twin trundle - can be converted to a Queen) with dedicated work space and laundry (downstairs). Also has private deck and access to the hot tub.
* HEATING/AC: High-efficiency ducted heat pump downstairs with ductless hear pump upstairs to keep you comfortable at all times.
* BATHROOMS
Bath 1 - on the first floor. The primary bathroom is a spa-like, art-filled, walk-in bath/shower combo with a Japanese soaking tub. There is a toilet and vanity. The bath fan is a Bluetooth speaker.
Bath 2 - a small wood-ceilinged private bathroom off the Master bedroom. This room has a shower, tile floor, small vanity, LED mirror, and skylight
* LAUNDRY: Washer/dryer are provided for guest use in the downstairs laundry closet located in the Twin bedroom.
* MAIN LIVING SPACE: An open plan living/dining/kitchen is great for entertaining and spending time together. 55" Smart TV, upstairs hangout area with record player and large Corduroy brand beanbag (can be converted into extra bed). 7-person dining table, fridge, microwave, full stove/oven, coffee maker, basic kitchen utensils and cookware.
* HOT TUB: A 4-person hot tub is located in the rear of the house - with access from either the yard or the Twin bedroom. The hot tub overlooks the firepit and expansive woods and nature.
* SCREENED PORCHES: A large screened-in porch off the kitchen allows for games (foosball), or a perfect yoga spot. Comfortable loungers and a hanging chair make this a lovely place for relaxation, nature watching (we have LOTS of deer walking through the yard), or convenient location to store your ski, snowboard, our outdoor gear.
A private porch upstairs off the Master Bedroom comes with two chairs and a small table and overlooks the rear yard with a firepit, string lights, and expansive woods and nature.
* DECKS: The main front deck has a large picnic table and a Gas BBQ (propane tanks and basic BBQ tools are provided)
Both of the downstairs bedrooms come with their own small decks and a chair. The Queen bedroom has a private deck accessible only from inside. The Twin bedroom has direct access to the rear Hot Tub.
* YARD: Head into the yard and light a fire in the main firepit
The yard also has a small series of gravel trails and plenty of space to explore nature.
This is a gated community. Community rules require that guests sign "short-term leases" with the community for the duration of their stay. These will be provided to guests following booking and prior to arrival. To complete this paperwork, each guest must provide a copy of your drivers license and vehicle information.
Guests will be given a gate pass for the duration of their stay.
Guests will have full access to all of the property with the exception of 2 locked storage/linen closets.

The community is a large (~150 acres) gated community with posted speed limits of 25 mph. Members and Guests have access to all areas and facilities, except for individual residential lots and the community gym. Please feel free to enjoy the area using bicycles, skateboards, scooters, electric scooters, or simply walking and exploring.
The three lakes are all accessible for guests for recreation.
Parking is restricted to the driveway in the Blue Forest Chalet or marked parking spots located around the community - please do not park on the side of the road. Security will ticket vehicles parked on the roadside.
Note: Please ensure that you are entering the correct number of guests in your booking as our pricing automatically adjusts based on the total number of guests.
Speed limit in the community is strict and enforced by security (25mph) - this is for the safety of children, pets and everyone.
SAFETY NOTICE: ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) CHARGING POLICY STRICTLY PROHIBITED! Violating this house rule will result in a $1,000 fine.
NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE.
This property maintains a strict no-smoking policy. Any instance of smoking within the premises will result in a $1,000 penalty fee. This fee is imposed to cover the cost of additional cleaning and deodorization required to restore the property to a smoke-free condition.
Quiet hours after 11pm
No fireworks within the community
No more than 4 people in the hot tub at one time.
No glitter allowed (inside or outside)
If using the outside water hose, please shut off immediately
No candles inside of property
Use of kayak or canoe requires life vests - and boats must be locked back up after use
