A bonus, full sized bed is located in a 1st floor nonconforming bedroom. The wrap-a-around deck is ideal for enjoying panoramic views after hiking, biking, fishing, or board games. Take advantage of the opportunity to rent side-by-sides (for anywhere from a half day to 30 days) at nearby Arrowhead Mountain Adventures and visit nearby Arrowhead Lodge for dining and drinks, with live music on weekends in the beer garden during warmer months.

In winter, Arrowhead's internal roads close to wheeled vehicles from December until mid-April; exact dates are determined by area patrol service and are dependent upon snowfall accumulation. Guests park in the winter parking lot and travel throughout the community via snowmobile (which can be rented for anywhere from 2 hours to 30 days by visiting www.alpineplateau.com). This is also a great time to try out snowshoes provided at the cabin or the newly created cross country alpine ski track nearby.
