Katie's Waterfront Getaway W/ covered boat dock, gazebo and much more!

Simple lake living at its best!

This beautiful and comforable two (2) bedroom / two (2) bathroom gated private 2-store lakehouse offers many options for guests that are looking for an activity filled vacation or those who are just looking to relax and unwind. From the moment you pull through the private gated driveway, you will enjoy the beauty of our home. Once you have exited your vehicle and walked through the front door, our fully supplied kichen awaits you. At our dining area the sun shines brightly through our floor to ceiling windows and continue on into our living room with a loveseat, full couch and TV. At the end our living room there's a door to access the deck which extends the full length of our house. Out on the deck you will enjoy plenty of seating and our grill. Next to the access door you will find a staircase that is one way to go down to the backyard, gazebo and dual boat dock with lifts. Back through the living room you will find our first bedroom suite with a king size Nectar bed and a night stand on each side with power, USB connections and a sound machine to whisk you off to a peaceful sleep. There's also a walk-in closet, dresser and TV. The suite bathroom has both a shower and jetted tub for your convenience. Back in the kitchen you will notice a doorway that leads to the stairs for our lower bedroom suite area. At the bottom of the stairs on your right you will see our den/media room. This room has a sleeper sofa, dresser and TV. There's also access to our second full bathroom with shower and tub and two sinks. To the left of the downstairs is a queen size bed with night stands on both sides with power, USB and a sound machine. The other side of the lower suite area is another full size couch, loveseat and TV. Near the lower suite there's another door to access the backyard. Through the door is our climate controlled lanai with table and chairs. There is also access to our full sized wacher and dryer for your use.

We loved the house and the boat dock. My grandson caught his first fish! We liked that it was basically two living areas with bedroom, bath, living room, dining room and kitchen upstairs, and bedroom, bath, living area and separate sleeping area for my grandson downstairs. We loved the porches! We saw geese, rabbits and squirrels. The hosts were so nice and replied quickly when we had a question. The house is on a hillside with lots of stairs, so we wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. We loved it!

Absolutely lovely home and property. Everything was beautiful and comfortable we will definitely stay there again. The Host was very friendly and she had thought of everything. I usually stay at Hiltons and they provide shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Since I wasn’t use to packing these items I had forgotten. She had them there plus extras even little mints and extra toothbrush and toothpaste. That was very thoughtful and appreciated. We didn’t have time to use the kayaks this time but we definitely will be back and stay longer!!!! Thank you both for a stress free stay at your little piece of paradise!!!

This place is amazing. Beautiful, super clean. We underestimated it when booking it. I will definitely come back again. This one by far has now made the other places I’ve stayed in look like low quality houses. Nate and Donna were great hosts. This is a 5 star for sure!!!!

My family had a wonderful over Labor Day weekend at this lake house. Everything was accurate as described and the host was very responsive. The house had everything we needed during our stay. The couches and beds were incredibly comfortable. Enjoyed fishing from the boat dock. There are steps leading into the water where you can launch kayaks or enter the water for swimming. The gazebo has a stereo where we spend most evenings hanging out listening to music. Nice area and a good eating spot just down the street that is also accessible by boat or kayak. Would definitely stay again if we ever come back to visit.

Private little paradise

My friend and I had a great time staying here. It's really private with the gated entrance and we loved the multiple outdoor hangout options. Everything was so comfortable and the hosts had lots of thoughtful little details like miscellaneous bathroom items in case you forgot anything. It really was a wonderful stay with perfect views. It was a little difficult to get the light on the pagoda to work, but perseverance won out. Otherwise 10/10.

Enjoyed the Space!

Short stay but I would definitely stay again. Lots of room. Comfortable beds. Large kitchen which comes in handy as we had a meal there. Need to fix the ignitor on grill. All around great stay definitely beats hotel vacations. Thank you!!

Where do I start...lol The house was beautiful the pictures do not do this property justice. The location was wonderful. We were located by all the main stores and kid friendly places. I couldn't have picked a better spot for my family. My daughter and I stayed down stairs in the media room. My daughter couldn't stop talking about how soft the couches were...lol The overall atmosphere was so peaceful. Even though the house was beautiful and the location was great. The best part about our stay was Mr. Nate and Mrs. Donna. I can't say enough great things about these two. Mr. Nate made sure my mom and stepdad had fishing rod's available to enjoy. Mrs. Donna was just a breathe of fresh air. They both were very patient and answered every question I had. We will definitely be returning next summer. Thank you guys for everything..Erica :)

Great Location

This was right off the main road Central Avenue, yet nice and quiet as well as private fenced in property! It would be nice if gazebo didn’t have cob webs and the finite was dusted but other than that everything else was clean.

Enjoyable

Good facility - just a couple of items dining room chairs need to be replaced - on one, upholstery was torn at back - another was a little shaky. Instructions on using TV & internet would help us senior citizens. The bedding, the towels and other furniture were very, very nice and the supplies in kitchen & baths were very adequate and thoughtful

Nice rental on the water

House was clean and beds were comfortable. Inside of house could use a little updating but for the price was a good option. Has one bedroom up stairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs so worked out good for out teenagers. We enjoyed using the kayaks. Very convenient to be on the water and close to downtown and restaurants. Overall we enjoyed the stay!

Very Nice

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home & property. The little extra details were very much appreciated. The only thing we couldn't figure out were how to turn the lights on at the gazebo over the lake. But other than that, everything was fantastic, clean & very comfortable!

Home away from home

Amazing home away from home for this family of five. Great location and proximity to local attractions. Plush furniture, gorgeous landscaping, a beautiful lake view, and huge windows to enjoy every ounce of our picturesque surroundings. Really enjoyed morning coffee out on the westward facing upper deck, and we pretty much became regulars at Sam’s Pizza Pub just a stone’s throw down the road. The kayaks, floaties and night fishing lights were great. The concrete steps that lead all the way down into the water was a big help, and finding a fresh box of live fishing worms in the outside fridge made me smile after a long day’s trave as I didn’t have to go back out and find a bait shop. The owner of this property may not always be able to have worms readily available for every guest, but knowing he thought about it this time tells me a lot. Small things like this go a very long way. Digital locks on all doors with the same key-code made coming and going down to the lake and into town very carefree, even for the youngest in our fam. Although we brought our own amenities, having a small supply of things like toilet paper, washing detergent, seasonings etc. was also very much appreciated. Not all rentals have these small, usually forgotten but vital items readily available. There was even a bowl of fresh fruit awaiting our arrival; just another small thing that made us feel very welcome. We slept like exhausted rocks. The downstairs space was perfect for kids
