Other Details to Note:
*Noise/Foot traffic: (It is significantly quieter and calmer in the winter months) We are best suited for those who want to adventure and take advantage of the location, not those looking for a quiet night on a weekend. Being so close to everything, the house is located on a busy street with a lot of people passing by. Sound machines are provided in each bedroom. You will likely hear some of the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood throughout your stay in the unit and may come across some locals on your walks to tour the town. On weekend nights you will hear cars and people outside, but that is the tradeoff for being in the heart of all the action!
*Free street parking. 2 car driveway shared between 2 units first come first serve- please do not park behind another car in the driveway unless it belongs to someone in your party! You may be towed otherwise. On weekends in the late afternoon/evenings street parking may sometimes be full right outside the building. However, there is ample street parking around the block. While you are not supposed to, my family and I parked for a year with no issues in the triangle marked area by the telephone pole and dumpster (we are not responsible if you get hit or towed).
*Stays of 1 week or more- will require deep clean, total cleaning fee will be $180.
*Early Check-in: Early check-in at 1pm may be available in certain situations upon request. The early check-in fee is $40.
*Guests: Only the number of guests stated in your reservation are allowed to be at or in the property at any time without express written approval of property owner. If you exceed the number of guests you book for, there will be a $100 fine per person per night. No parties or gatherings. Noise monitors inside house. Violations will be met with applicable fines & eviction.
*Pets: If you are bringing your fur child, there is a $150 pet fee. No cats. Please be sure to read Pet Rules and state your agreement to Host at the time of booking.
*Starter supplies of toiletries are provided. However if you are here for a longer stay, you will likely need to make a short trip to the grocery to replenish some things, like paper products.

Take a stroll down Bardstown Rd and bask in the vibrant culture and artwork of the Highlands. Grab some American favorites from Ditto's, have a beer at Highlands Tap Room, shop trendy styles at Pitaya, chow down on Cajun from J.Gumbo's or Korean BBQ from GOGi 1055, sip a stiff cocktail from Neat, dance the night away at The Hub or Atomic, or many other options- and that's only within the first 600 feet out your door!

-No food/drink on the couch (or in bed for the kids)
-No smoking in or near the house ($500 fine) $25 fine per cigarette butt found laying on the ground
-No moving/rearranging furniture ($500 fine)
-Adults cannot book for people under 23 years old unless they will also be staying on the premises for the duration of the stay
-Picture ID and working phone number must be provide to the host at time of booking
-Security cameras are present around exterior of property. Under no circumstances may these be removed, blocked off, or have their correct function hindered in any capacity. Should this happen, your reservation will be immediately terminated with no refund. No exceptions.
Pet Rules:
-Pet fee, per pet ($150) No cats allowed. If large dog, only one allowed. If under 20 lbs, 2 max. No aggressive or guard dog breeds. If you instant book and do not meet this criteria, you will be required to cancel the booking from (your) guest end and will recieve a full refund (if done at the time of booking). If you do not provide this information when asked, and it comes out later, your reservation will be cancelled and refunds will only be granted in accordance with the cancellation policy of your booking. No exceptions.
-Pets cannot be left alone for extended periods of time
-Absolutely no pets on any furniture (any damage, cleaning, discoloration, or other invoices received by cleaning company resulting from violating this rule will be billed to guest. If furniture or other items are damaged beyond repair guest will be billed up to a max amount equal to the replacement cost of the item)
-Clean up and dispose of pet poop ($100 fine)
-Pet must be on a leash at all times when not inside. -If your pet is barking or otherwise being a nuisance to others in the building, you will get one warning. On the second complaint you will be required to remove the pet or vacate the premises. You will forfeit the remainder of your stay and will not receive a refund.
