Venga a Harlem y alójese en Lita's New York Apartments en una espectacular suite soleada en un edificio privado de piedra rojiza (sin ascensor) como su casa de vacaciones. Experimente espaciosas habitaciones con pisos de roble originales, detalles de madera originales y techos de 12 pies en estilo loft abierto. La suite tiene un esquema de color relajante con hermosos y cómodos muebles. La suite consta de un dormitorio con una cama tempur-pedic de tamaño Queen y vestidores antiguos. El salón tiene un sofá cama doble y TV de pantalla plana con cable y acceso a internet inalámbrico. También consta de una cocina totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y todos los utensilios para cocinar una comida de cuatro platos, juego de mesa de comedor, que se puede ampliar para acomodar a más invitados, si es necesario. Lita’s Lovely Suite!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Theresa was very hospitable and accommodating. The location is perfect, the bed and linens were clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The online pictures capture the essence of the suite perfectly. We did get a little cold and would have welcomed a space heater since the thermostat cannot be controlled in the suite. Other than the temperature issue, the suite along with the host made for a pleasant experience.

First let us start with the size of the apartment and the cleanliness. Could not have asked for more. Stocked very well. Theresa was wonderful. Great location for walking and running, 2 blocks from subway and right near our son’s apartment. Would recommend it very highly.

Hello Harlem

This is a spacious, airy suite that is immaculately kept. The A train (express) to downtown is 50 yards from the doorstep! A grocery is a few blocks away if you need supplies. The corner fruit stand nearby is excellent. Harlem is a lively place where people live and work with gorgeous Brownstones on every street. We always felt safe. You might feel the landlady is hovering but we're homeowners and understand her point of view.

Beautiful place convenient to downtown

We had a great time but the experience was somewhat marred by an initial miscommunication over accommodation details. Also we suggest that the host dial back on the quantity and tone of the various posted rules, we didn’t feel welcomed, but Teresa was extremely nice. She helped us straighten everything out.

Teresa was a gracious and terrific host! Incredible apartment, as advertised. Location is really good--easy access to great restaurants, subway, other conveniences. The building is beautiful. Loved the Sugar Hill place across the street for breakfast/coffee in the morning. everything was great. We will be back!

Wonderful

We were very pleased with Lita's Parlor. It was large, clean and had all the conveniences of home. It is close to the subway and this area has wonderful places to eat within walking distance. Harlem Public, The Grange, and Sugar Hill Coffee Shop are wonderful local places. Sugar Hill is right across the street! The best part is meeting Theresa; she is very kind and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised that even though it is on 145th street is was quieter than many hotels we've stayed in at other locations in the city.

Comfortable in a great location!

Very pleasant, convenient apartment in active, lively area of Harlem

We enjoyed our stay at Lita's. The apartment is so very convenient to subway system and many local grocery stores, wine, sandwiches, etc. Quiet and comfortable. Theresa assisted us with transportation to the airport, which was an immense help to us. Thanks so much. The apt is only a block from a relative, so we will surely stay again.

Great apartment

This apartment is quite spacious, comfortable, very well-maintained, and in a good location near the subway and markets Theresa was a perfect host and ensured that we had all that we needed. We stayed for 5 nights over Memorial Day week-end and would definitely stay there again when in New York.

Amazing property and owner!

We absolutely loved our stay with Lita at her property! She was so accommodating, greeted us at the property, and was so welcoming. She made out stay very easy and enjoyable. The property is located very close to subway stations and is a beautiful, historic home. We will be staying here again in five months.

Super Stay!

I stayed at this lovely, apartment for one week while vacationing in New York with my husband. On arrival, I was greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Teresa, the owner. The one bedroom apartment is elegantly fitted with everything you need, a queen sized bed, flat screen television, modern kitchen with appliances. Free internet access and telephone is also provided and for those hot summer days, a window AC is provided. One night, the owner held a personal barbeque and invited my husband and I. We truly enjoyed and I give her thumbs up for the lovely food. Theresa is a fabulous hostess and I hope she keeps up the good work. The building is centrally located and is surrounded by the subway where you can get the ABCD train, supermarket, church, bank and restaurants. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully Decorated 1 BR Apartment

My daughter and I stayed here while apartment hunting in preparation of her cross country move. This apartment provided a home away from home after long days of viewing apartments. The location was very convenient, the subway station for ABCD trains is less than 1/2 block away. The 1 train is also fairly close. The grocery store was within walking distance, as was a city park with a swimming pool. A mini mart was just a few doors way and the neighborhood provided lots of options for a quick bite to eat. The kitchen has been updated and is very well equipped. The owner thoughtfully provides everything including coffee for the coffeemaker. The large dining table in the kitchen was a favorite place for us. The apartment has a wall mounted flat screen TV and free WiFi. The owner is available to provide assistance and directions. She even arranged car service for our trip to the airport. The apartment is furnished with beautiful antique dressers, plush rugs and linens. It is located in a historical brownstone, but has been updated without destroying the charm and character of the building. Everything you need is provided, even shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer. The apartment has 3 rooms, each with a ceiling fan and is extremely clean. For the muggy summer days, a window AC unit is provided. I would definitely stay here again when I come visit my daughter.

Clean, cozy and convenient

Location, location, location! Just a few doors to the subways ABCD downtown. Teresa is a fabulous hostess offering information, dining and travel suggestions. We found a pharmacy, laundromat and at least three good meals within a couple of blocks with her help. It seemed her door was always open when we needed her. The apartment is bright and spacious as depicted in the pictures. You can feel the history in every room. I brought my 20-year-old nephew for his first trip to New York and I look forward to bringing his brother next year!

3 days recovery in Litas

I had an operation the day I moved into Litas apartment. So it was a huge relief that Theresa was so lovely and kind to me during my stay there for 3 days. The apartment was fantastic, really nice and warm. The TV was huge and had all the channels. The bed was huge too. It was a perfect place for me to recover. When I go to NYC, I will stay at Litas. It has everything and is close to the subway. I cannot speak highly enough of the place and the great time I had there Regards Christian

Simply AMAZING!!!!

This is the place to stay when in NYC. It is conveniently located on the same block as the subway. the place is renovated but still in keeping with the brownstones history. When I'm staying in NYC I LOVE staying here. The host Theresa is an amazing person. She is so helpful and knowledgeable on the nightlife, restaurants and best attractions. I've stayed in all the rooms thus far and I'm yet to be disappointed. The rooms are all CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. They have a feeling of home which is always appreciated when away from home. Theresa always asks if I need breakfast the next morning and has it waiting when requested. She truly goes above and beyond to make the most memorable stay. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. Cant wait to stay here again!

One of the best choice in NY - cheap and cozy

I stayed at Lita's apartments for 1 week in March. From the friendly welcome by Teresa to the comfortable tempur-pedic bed and plush white towels you're sure to feel at home. I will come back here for sure one day, because of the convenience to my place of business & subway (A my fast and favourite to get at Times sq in 12 mins but also B - C - D and 1), as well as the warm welcome at my stay. Teresa is very accommodating, she helps find restaurants and transportation (you can get from Jfk airport in less than 1 hour in a very convenient way). I have stayed in a newly renovated suite, as expected the room was warm cozy and SUPER clean, but I could notice that each apartment is provided with a full refurnished kitchen, and a flat-screen cable TV plus wi-fi connection. Thank you Teresa for having made my holiday so lovely! I really hope to see you soon.

Apartment cozy, large and had met all requirements

The location is perfect, 30 meters from the subway (lines ABCDE, ie 2 express trains). The flat is new and clean, well equipped (also a good hairdryer) and it is even better than the photos; there is a Cable TV (NY 24hours a day , Child TV programs and whatever a lazy or rainy day could offer) WiFi connection and a big bed, more than queen size, The bathroom itself hold everything you possibly need. The owner of this brownstone is wonderful, doing everything to make you feel comfortable, including tea, nice chit-chat and sightseeing + shopping tips. Her 24/24 hrs presence at lower floor is important to guarantee a happy and safe stay, but you can also enjoy your own privacy better than many hotel rooms. It is advisable to contact the owner before booking to discover some special season discount.

Spacious and comfortable apartment

We had over a week staying in this apartment - 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment is exactly as in the photos and was very spacious and well-equipped. The main bed was super comfortable, the sofa bed is less so, though that is just sofa beds in my experience and kids never seem to care. The subway stop is right on the corner (lines ABCDE, ie 2 express trains) and line 1 is just up the hill. So even though it's not in the heart of things it's easy to get there. The neighbourhood is friendly and there is a supermarket and laundromat nearby, and several good options (try the famous fish market near the corner and Jesus taco up the road for cheap feeds) The owner is on site and able to help you - she kindly organised car service to the airport and minded our bags for the day. Highly recommended.

DA NON PERDERE

Appartamento come da foto,ma c'è molto di più.La simpatia e la disponibilità di Teresa,vi fara sentire come a casa.L'appartamento grande bello pulito caldo,con tutti i comfort,cucina attrezzata di tutto proprio un occasione da non perdere se volete trascorrere un pò di tempo a New York.A 50 metri trovate la metro che in tre fermate vi porta in centro,e c'è anche la fermata dell'autobus.Fuori dalla porta di casa ci sono negozi,caffetterie,pizzererie,ristoranti.......Una chiesa per assistere alla domenica alla messa gospel.Io ci torno......
