1900's Farmhouse Welcoming RUSTIC VIBE Rolling country side near Fall River WI

Joe Agnew Family Farm Farmhouse guests will enjoy staying in an old farmhouse. We tend to like to stick to the old ways for most things. We do offer most modern conveniences, including central heat and air, great WiFi, Smart Tv's with fire sticks, Smart lock entry, laundry, and a dishwasher. The floors are the original wood floors, they are not level and squeak a bit. The walls have cracks and patches, and speak from 100 years of use. The ceilings still have the cast iron pipe collars in them. The beautiful lawn has fruit trees that attract wildlife. As this is a working farm, there may be people outside working. They might be in the fields, in the barns, or working with horses. We’ll give you space around the house, wave “Hello” and get on with our work.

You'll be staying on the first floor. The bedroom has a queen bed, smart tv, luggage rack, night table and lamp. The living room has a couch, loveseat, chair and smart tv. The dining room has an antique table, 4 chairs, buffet, desk and a full sized mirror. The kitchen has the original cast iron sink, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave and most kitchen appliances. The kitchen is undergoing an update, it's fully functional, we are just waiting on the trim to be finished. The bathroom has the original clawfoot bathtub. A freshly restored sun porch has a table with 3 chairs, and a loveseat that pulls out into a bed. The sun porch is perfect for bird watching during the day light hours with coffee. When it's dark you can see fire flys everywhere, the bats are usually out too. The table faces the east, which offers a nice sunrise view.

We offer a simple coffee bar in the sunporch. There’s a regular coffee maker, French Press, whole bean coffee and grinder. There's a red tub of ground Folgers too. A few varieties of tea and a tea kettle are available. Packets of sugar, sugar alternative and 1/2 & 1/2 are available also.

The kitchen is stocked with a collection of assorted dishes and cookware. The seasoned cast iron pans and gas stove available can make some delicious meals! There’s a lighter on the shelf, if the stove does not light. There is also a microwave on the 2 shelf of coffee island on the sunporch. We have most other kitchen appliances too (Ninja food processor, Kitchen-Aid mixer, rice cooker). We have just installed dishwasher.

The original clawfoot bathtub ensures a relaxing hot bath (there is no shower). We have the water heater turned up to make sure you can have a nice long hot bath. Be careful the hot water is HOT, in the kitchen and bathroom. Basic toiletries and bath salts are provided.

The Wi Fi has a guest network for you to use. There is a sign with a QR code in the dining room for easy access. The cellular reception is very limited in the area.

The TV’s in both the living room and bedroom are smart TV’s with fire sticks, you’re welcome to connect to any of your personal apps.

There is laundry available, with Tide Pods and scent beads provided. Do not change the settings on the washer, if the settings are changed it will not drain!

The attached heated garage makes it nice and easy to come home. We do keep the UTV (not available for use) and personal tools in the garage, please be respectful and leave all the things in the garage alone.

We are very serious about home and farm security and outdoor surveillance. The five acres around farmhouse and barns are fenced with gates on the north and south driveway entrances. We keep them closed and locked most of the time, especially if there are horses at the farm. The house offers a Smart Lock entrance, we’ll give you code to get in. There is a camera in the garage to keep an eye on the hot water system for the in floor heating. There are no cameras in the house and the security system will be disarmed durning your stay. There are cameras through out the farm. If being under security cameras is an issue for for you the is not the place for you.

No Smoking. No Candles. No Incense. No Open Flames at all! No outdoor fires.

No access to the upstairs, storage room, or basement. There is not a storm cellar available.

No small children.

There are bait stations and traps professionally maintained and monitored in and out of the house to keep all the rodents, varmints, and insects under control.
