Welcome to Lummi Haven! Relax and escape from it all when staying at this true nature lover’s oasis! Modern yet natural, Lummi Haven offers two separate living areas. No formal kitchen or shower available- instead, this gorgeous guest house is equipped with a wonderfully unique outdoor kitchen, as well as a heated outdoor shower and soaking tub! Cozy up by the gas fireplace while enjoying breathtaking ocean and sunset views! Just a short walk down the trail to Sunset Beach!

** Important Note:
During winter months, the outdoor tub (and possibly the outdoor shower) will be turned off and winterized.

If you are looking for a unique island stay then Lummi Haven is the place for you! As you walk through the Japanese inspired gate surrounded by bamboo, you’ll arrive in your own relaxing oasis.

The enclosed patio is home to an amazing outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, and a rustic soaking tub.

The main bedroom has a comfortable Queen-sized bed with soft linens to ensure a restful night of sleep. There is a large window with a spectacular view of the ocean, the perfect spot to gaze out at the West side’s famous sunsets.

Get cozy next to the gas fireplace as you read a good book and sip your favorite beverage.

The space also has a half bath with a sink and toilet, as well as a closet and a fully-stocked coffee station.

Just up the patio steps is a second detached living area. This relaxing space has a pull-out couch, smart TV and room for yoga. We have yoga mats available for guest use!

This area also has basic cooking supplies and utensils for you to use in the outdoor kitchen.

The outdoor kitchen has a propane cook-top, a small refrigerator and a sink. Please remember this is a rustic space and is ideal for those who enjoy indoor/outdoor living.

Please also note there is only an outdoor shower and tub.

There is a path on the side of the guesthouse that takes you to the main road which is just a couple minute walk to Sunset Beach.

The owner of the property lives in the main house but Lummi Haven is very private and has its own separate entrance.

Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and a first aid kit.

*** Please note there is no gas station on Lummi Island and you will need to fill up before you arrive.

*** For guests traveling between April and June- The Whatcom Chief Ferry goes in to dry dock for maintenance. This means that there is no substitute for a vehicle ferry service and the island is only accessible via ferry for foot passengers and bikes. Dry dock season typically lasts for about 3 weeks and exact dates are posted on The Whatcom County website. Please reach out and we can help you plan your stay!
