Nice weekend stay

The apartment was efficient and clean. We were in town for a Braves game and it suited that great. The walk was about 20 minutes which was different than what I thought. We were lucky enough to walk up to a bus stop and found out about the free ride to the game. Parking at complex was confusing. Was told parking would be validated, got a ticket. Hoping the host will work that out for me. No top sheet on the bed which was weird but all the basics were there.

Very dishonest about location

We chose this location as the description states 1 minute walk to Truist Park and 6 minute walk to The Battery. It is a 22 minute walk to Truist, uphill! My husband has bad knees, which is why we wanted some place close. The walk there was painful for him. We had to spend $40 to get a cart ride back. And we had to pay to park in a guest spot at the vrbo. The apartment itself was nice, but lying about the walking distance is just wrong.

this is a non-authorized VRBO

I couldn't get into the property using the passcode that was sent to me. I went to the management office and was informed that Vrbo rentals were not permitted at that site and was refused entry to the property. I want a refund of my money. I have sent a separate email with more info but have not received acknowledgment that it was received.

Overall solid rental and stay

The unit was nice up to date and reminded me of a place I used to rent. It was close to the Braves stadium which is what I wanted. Nothing negative about the unit or the stay except for parking. The only issue I had is Parking and nowhere in the rental information did it mention I had to park in an area that was maintained by a parking service and you can get fined or towed for not paying to park. I believe there should be a spot where the owner would park and allow us to park there. I ended up getting a $55 violation that I tried to appeal and they denied it. Many reviews of the parking company being a scam. So please be careful about that. I do plan to go to VRBO on that piece.

Not so close

The listing insinuates that the apartment is walking distance to Truist Park. When you tap on the directions link in the listing it shows the apartments at the Battery, that is false. It is actually 1.2 miles away, with over half a mile of it without a walking path, you have to walk on a busy 4 lane road. Once you have the address you realize how far it is. We ended up not staying and never checked in. There was no refund of any kind, even for the cleaning fee they obviously won’t need before their next tenant. The reply from the manager suggested that “some” guests would find it walkable. Walkable in 100 degree heat, up steep hills and stairs, dressed for dinner….no thanks!

Nice property with an inexperienced host

The property was clean and well located to things that we wanted to do. I can see why this would be a great location if you are visiting Truist Park. Walking distance? Depends on your activity level. You may like a brisk walk straight uphill but not me! The check in process was confusing and not convenient, thankfully the host was right up the road to come help us but that delay made us late for other things. The parking process was very confusing and easily Misunderstood… better communication on that would have been appreciated. The property was nice and well kept but I think that more clarity is needed on what to expect when checking in. Also there aren’t really check out instructions so we just did what we thought was needed and left. Personally I feel it was worth the price and convenience, but some of the hassle was not appealing
