Beautiful all new Blue Heron only a few feet from Oneida Lake

New Sylvan Beach rental. All updated. Access to the lake just a few feet away where you can sit, swim or kayak. Site says 6 minute drive to town, it’s 1 mile so a quick drive or an easy walk. 4 beds, 2 baths. 1 king bed and 1 twin bed on lower floor. 1 king bed and 1 full bed on upper floor. 1 full bath down stairs with a tub and 1 full bath upstairs with a shower. Open living space with a Full Kitchen with all the amenities , stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot/ keurig etc…small amounts of toiletries are provided to get you started. Central air and Roku tvs with Netflix in the bedrooms, livingroom and game room. Game room has a love seat that opens to a bed for extra sleeping. 2 kayaks available upon request. Enjoy the enclosed porch or outdoor seating near the fire pit for your beautiful sunsets. Grill is provided to relax at home and BBQ with family /friends or Walk to town and grab a bite at one of our many restaurants, then grab a cocktail at one of the local bars. Continue your journey shopping, casino , amusement park, ice cream stands, and more. Every weekend there are new events: Pirates week, Blues, Jeeps on the beach, chicken run, jet ski races and much more. You won’t be disappointed! We previously rented out Sandy feet retreat where we were premier hosts and had a 5 star rating. Feel free to ask questions. Ice fisherman welcome! Check in 2/check out 10am (fee after 10).

Family Friendly

Top notch stay with young children for a fishing trip. The accommodations for the children were phenomenal. Beautiful home and located near everything. Must stay!

Holiday trip

We made the trip from out of town to spend the holidays with family. The house and location was perfect for us. The game room was set up with a Christmas tree so that we could enjoy opening gifts with our family. We appreciated the snow removal service that came when it snowed as we did not have to worry about shoveling. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Blue Heron is a Gem

The home was very clean. There was nothing that we needed, everything was supplied. I highly recommend this property. The games room was a real bonus.

Blue Heron Soars

Beautifully decorated home in a great location. Very close to Sylvan Beach where there are many amenities and activities available. The home was fully equipped with everything needed from dishes to books and games. I would highly recommend. We definitely plan to stay there again!

Kids want to live there forever

This welcoming, well-equipped home had something for every generation-and we cover Alpha to Boomer. My 5 year olds wanted to live here forever. They were irate when they found out we were heading home. It was one of the best equipped kitchens I have encountered and I loved being able to shut the door to the raucus kids playing foosball. Will def be on my return here list

So glad you all enjoyed yourselves! I want everyone to come and enjoy Sylvan Beach as much as I do so I try providing everything. The 5 year olds didn’t get enough time for s’mores over a fire or play in the sand. Bring them back in the Summer for the amusement park too. The place was left amazing and we would love for you all to come back again!

Quaint, quiet, immaculately clean facility and its environs. Would have loved at least one closet for hanging clothes rather than living out of a suitcase. Needed extra paper towels and toilet tissue. The lake view is priceless.

Glad to know you enjoyed yourselves. Our site says we only supply a starter set of amenities. We supplied 2 rolls of toilet paper upstairs, 2 rolls downstairs and 2 rolls of paper towels for your 4 night stay. You also booked for 4 adults and there were more. We also supplied shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dish soap, sunblock, bug spray, coffee pods, sugar, oil, ketchup, mustard, popcorn and machine. There is a closet in the one upstairs bedroom and one in the hall along with hooks on the back of the doors. There’s a Dresser in one room and draws in another. Thank you for your review.

Our new favorite vacation spot

This was our family’s first time using Vrbo and our first-time visiting Oneida Lake, NY and we couldn’t have been happier! Blue Heron was incredibly clean, inviting and spacious. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies! There are tons of amenities and games that kept our children well occupied, and we never heard “I’m bored” the whole trip! We enjoyed the kayaks and lake access at the end of the road. The beach was a short 5-minute drive and was very clean and fun! Lots of families and not overcrowded like the typical east coast beach towns. We absolutely loved the quant small town feel. It is not commercialized or overly touristy. Which was very refreshing and much needed. The one thing we needed to adjust too was everything seemed to close a little earlier. Most restaurants were only open until 9pm-ish. It’s not a complaint but just something to keep in mind when visiting for the first time. Overall, it was truly a wonderful first experience and we look forward to coming back!
