Dog welcoming,beautifully landscaped grounds of this once nursery, offer a peaceful setting to follow your days on the trails. Dip your toes in the creek, play board games in the greenhouse or watch your dogs run in the off leash dog yard. Base Camp Cabin is a two story rustic cinder block and wood structure offering all the basics for your mountain getaway. Large lawns, creek, unique trees.

Creek runs the length of the property, outdoor heated shower is a delight after a long day on the trails and the fireflies are mesmerizing.

You'll be sharing the 13 acre grounds with the hosts home & a boutique campground of 5 sites.
5 minutes to Pisgah Forest, 20 to DuPont, 5 to downtown Brevard, 15 to the Asheville airport, 30 to downtown Asheville .

Great place to stay with your dogs! Owners are on site and very helpful and friendly. Really conveniently located to Pisgah National Forest. Lovely coffee shop/warehouse is close by too (Pisgah Coffee Roasters). (Just be aware that the bathroom is located downstairs, while the bedroom is upstairs, so if you have to get up during the night, you will need to navigate the stairs. Obviously more of a concern if you are older.)Lovely place!

The cabin was beautiful! The property and grounds were outstanding. Close enough to everything yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Rob and Beth were the nicest most accommodating and informative hosts we have ever stayed with. Their suggestions on trails falls food and entertainment were second to none. I can’t put in to words how much better they made our stay with their kindness and hospitality.

Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Hosts Rob and Beth were delightful and very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend this place to all friends and family. Conveniently located to all the area attractions.

The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Beth was a fantastic host, making us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. The cabin was thoughtfully arranged and exceptionally clean. One pleasant surprise was how comfortable the mattress was—many places tend to have overly firm beds, so it was a welcome change to wake up feeling refreshed and well-rested. We would definitely stay there again.

We went for my wife's birthday,first time in the mountains. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Beth.she was so nice and welcoming, made us feel like if we knew each other.she explained everything and even took time to guide us to where we wanted to go and sites we wanted to see, both her and her husband Rob were very knowledgeable,friendly and welcoming.they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable .the cabin was very clean, cozy and comfy. Love the decor. Thank you so very much Beth and Rob for making our stay a memorable one. Will definitely recommend and go back.

Perfect Dog Friendly Weekend Getaway

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We were in town for a dog sport event and needed a rental that allowed dogs over 50 lbs. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Upon arrival she greeted us and made sure our door code worked. Since we were only guests on property for the weekend, dogs were allowed to be off leash since have a good recall. They loved playing in the creek and catching frisbee in the field. The cabin was perfect for us. Bed was comfortable and had everything we needed. Owner even had baskets with treats, coffee and easy meals if needed. We definitely plan to return when back in the area!!

Perfect rustic dog-friendly getaway

The rustic charm and cozy campground feel were only surpassed by the warmth and graciousness of the hosts. Our pups loved the fenced dog run and taking a quick dip in the creek. We took advantage of the fire pit in the evening while star gazing. So relaxing. This rental is fully outfitted for meal prep: full size fridge, oven/range, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, etc.

My favorite short-term rental yet!

Wow!! What a fantastic property and home. My dogs and I enjoyed strolling around the property, and hanging out next to an evening pit fire. The house was clean and very co.fortablr .
