Charlie Mae's Cottage on Cleo

This cottage is located in a quiet residential neighborhood located on three minutes from I-185. Within our home are three cozy bedrooms and bathrooms. Within minutes you could find yourself at many of Columb Georgia's main attractions like the National Infantry Museum, Flat Rock Park, the Coca Cola Space Science Center, Columbus State University, Old Town, and Ft Moore.

My wife and I designed this home with southern comfort as our main priority. There is plenty of decor within the walls of our home to make your stay as cozy as possible. This home was furnished in a manner so that we could comfortably host our family and friends. Entering the property, you will begin your journey in our living room. Our living room supports two full couches and one chair and half. One couch also transitions into a queen sleeper.

Next, you will see our fully equipped kitchen that was remodeled to our liking with concrete countertops making for easy clean ups after preparing meals for our family and friends. This kitchen has everything you will need in order to prepare meals during your stay. Our latest updates are the stainless-steel appliances we added before our PCS to Ft Liberty, NC in 2021.

Our home has three bedroom which support one king bed, and two queens, and with the additional sleeper sofa our home comfortably sleeps 8 adults. Additionally, our home offers two full bathrooms, which come with dispensers that contain body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Leading to the bedrooms is a washer and dryer located on the lefthand side of the hallway. Our laundry station comes equipped with detergent pods, iron, ironing board, and dryer sheets. This home has everything needed to make your stay truly feel like a home away from home.

Our backyard offers a fully fenced space where we have spent many hours grilling, played games, and sat by the fire pit making memories with family and friends. The playset also offers the ability for you and your children to unplug, unwind, and enjoy time outside. This place we hope is all that you need to truly enjoy your stay here in Columbus, Georgia.

Sons turning green graduation

We came to Columbus for my son’s turning green ceremony. We had a wonderful time. The house was the perfect size and it had everything we needed. The host are spectacular hosts. Communication was great. I’ll be rebooking for my son’s AIT graduation 3 months from now.

Wonderful Stay

We were in town for a horse show in Hamilton. The home could not have been in a more perfect location, close to Publix and multiple restaurants. The home is very comfortable with plenty of room for multiple adults. There was nothing missing!We will stay again!

Great Location and Great Hosts!

All in all this property was great! The house was clean and spacious and perfectly located for our needs. Great response from host when needed The only reason I rated a 4 out of 5 is the house was overwhelmingly fragrant in plug-in scents. It was way too much for me so i just unplugged everyone i could find. This smell lingered for our stay, but may be OK for others staying. Loved the hostess. Safe location. Perfect stay!

Beautiful home in prime location

We really enjoyed our time at the home. The house was stocked well and had everything we needed. The decor was super cute and the couches where very comfortable. The beds are firm. The driveway is a little steep but not an issue for any vehicle. The carport didn't accommodate our suburban but it would fit almost any other vehicle. We had some minor issues but the owner was quick to correct those and the stay was fine. This house is very centrally located and we really enjoyed our stay. We ate at Charred Oak bar & grill which was recommended by the owners it was great. We would stay here again.

Great Visit

Had a few problems with the property but the owners were quick to jump on it and resolve the issues. Area was nice and near many things. Would recommend!

Clean and updated

We were here for my son’s Ranger graduation. The house was clean and comfortable and worked perfectly with the fenced yard for our dogs. Owners were very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Bad smell

Bad smell on he property. We had to buy several candles to mask smell of musty dog. We had to buy blankets due to stains on sheets. Then they charged us extra $40.00 for stains that we did not make.

We both began our journey in the Columbus Georgia area and transitioned to Ft Liberty, NC. We have one son together, and we are constantly on the go traveling. With that in mind we decided to list our own homes as oasis for travelers like us. We aimed to create the perfect place to unwind from it all.
