The home was great, we really felt comfortable there. It was very clean and was recently upgraded. The backyard was fabulous! We skipped two dinners out to sit by the fire and enjoy the beautiful evenings. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to the area.

The house was really clean, updated lovely and had everything we could have needed. The property was beautiful and private but close to so many things. We really enjoyed having the firepit one night with the chilly evening. Check in and out was really convenient. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Stay!

This was a very nice - clean- convenient place to headquarter for our Bourbon Trail trip. We were 2 couples and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Not only was the place/house comfortable and clean - we enjoyed the fire pit on the one day it did not rain! Several bonuses were small things that helped make our stay easier (Keurig coffee supplied - (for starter), hangers in the closets, convenient full size washer/dryer with detergent and extra toilet paper besides one roll! We never had any issues but the owner checked on us several times and was available for questions/problems which was nice just knowing that. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to the area.

Great place and location

Stayed here for a bachelor weekend and we have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The host was very friendly and had great communication. The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Our favorite place was the back porch area and hot tub. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in Frankfort! The place is in close proximity to downtown Frankfort and many great distilleries. Hope to be back in the future.

The Great Escape

This home had everything you could need. It was well supplied and very clean. The hot tub was a plus. The beds were comfortable. We liked the open floor plan. It had a country feel with deer everywhere. The houses were spaced far apart, Would stay there again. The owner was very nice and responsive.

Close to distilleries. Very clean

We very much enjoyed our stay in this rental. It was very close to Buffalo Trace to get the daily drops and other distilleries. The house was very clean and larger than it appeared in the pictures. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard and deck. We were able to have a fire in the fire pit one evening and relaxed in the hot tub on the cold nights. This place has been recently renovated and everything is new in this house. It was perfect for three couples exploring the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Bourbon Trail Stay

Whiskey Woods is the perfect place to stay while touring the Frankfort Distilleries on the Kentucy Bourbon Trail. We were only there for one night, but I wanted to stay and enjoy it more. The location, while remote and quiet is in close proximity to Castle & Key which is a must see and only 1/2 mile away. Also very close are Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve. It truly is the perfect spot. We were going to go out to dinner once we checked in, but we never left. We ordered BBQ from a local place and sat outside on the deck and enjoyed watching the deer wander. Sitting by the firepit enjoying our Bourbon was so much better than sitting in a bar. The beds were super comfortable, and the house was impeccable clean, you really cannot go wrong with Whiskey Woods. Jason was available to contact, though we didn't need him, check in and check out was seamless. I truly have zero complaints, STAY HERE!

Great location and outdoor space

Traveling as 2 couples visiting the Bourbon Trail, we had a great time at Whiskey Woods. With perfect weather, we spent a lot of our time while at the house on the back deck or at the fire pit. The best part was being in a secluded spot but still very near I-64 and Frankfort - though the road to/from Castle and Key is one lane and windy. The main room in the house is spacious, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed for simple meals. One minor drawback is the size of the second bathroom, and watch out for the washer lid if you use the laundry.

Buffalo Trace

Our stay was 3 nights. Very clean, comfortable house. It rained the whole weekend but did not dampen our experience. Beautiful backyard, clean hot tub that was perfect on the rainy nights under the awning. Definitely recommend. Host very responsive and kind.

Great property, and perfect location to visit the distilleries. We saw deer right off the front porch and back deck, and enjoyed the quiet. The property manager was very helpful when we had questions. We hope to go back again very soon!

This was probably the cleanest VRBO I’ve stayed in. The kitchen was also better equipped and stocked better than most. Jason was responsive and pleasant to deal with Highly recommended
