DOWNTOWN LOCATION
This amazing location on Newport Avenue is within a one-minute walk of all the Newport street shops, restaurants, and cafes. Including Bend's original gourmet grocer, Newport Market. With a few more minutes walking, you'll reach the food cart pod, 10 Barrel and many of the Galveston Avenue favorites. Downtown destinations are about a 15-minute walk through scenic Drake Park. You can literally park your car in the driveway for your entire vacation! Khaya is close to everywhere you want to be. Heading to the mountains? Phil's Trails and Mt Bachelor are a very easy drive from Khaya.

Walk in the door and you'll immediately see the main floor living area is light and bright with easy flow between the kitchen, living room and dining room. You'll love chatting with friends and family in this home. Enjoy the chef's kitchen with gas range, Sub Zero refrigerator, farmhouse sink, Oregon Madrone countertops, reclaimed wood cabinets and all the pots and pans you'll need for a gourmet meal. Sit down dining for up to 6 inside and outside on the patio too. Generous french doors open up from the dining room to the patio so you'll have lots of space and options for meals. Back in the living room, kick up your feet and relax on the new leather couch in front of the stylish and modern gas fireplace. Start the shuffleboard tournament sign up as soon as you arrive. While you wait your turn for shuffleboard, relax and enjoy the 65 inch TV with ROKU Live TV. Free wifi is also provided, of course.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Wander upstairs to find 3 generous sleeping spaces, each with their own KING beds! The master suite includes a sitting area, TV with ROKU Live TV and ensuite bathroom with cork floors. The master bathroom provides you a beautiful tiled walk-in shower and lots of closet storage. The extra deep porcelain soaking tub is a dream. Soak away your worries and emerge refreshed every time from this amazing spa-like bathroom. On-demand hot water means you won't run out for anyone's shower or bath either.

Both of the additional king bedrooms feature built-in work desks and sitting areas just in case you need to catch up on business before launching into your Bend adventures. All of the beds feature very comfortable duvet bedding with high thread count sheets. There is a shared bathroom with a tiled tub/shower combination.

There is a Pack & Play travel crib and restaurant style high chair at the home for your use as well. Please bring your own baby bedding.

HEATING & COOLING
All the bedroom floors are heated and the master bedroom has its own mini split A/C unit. The master also has a private balcony making a breath of fresh air so easy. There are additional mini split heat and A/C units in the hall outside the 2 additional bedrooms and another downstairs in the living room. With the heated floors and mini splits with A/C and heating throughout the home will keep you cozy year round!

OUTDOOR SPACES
The compact yard is perfect for an afternoon BBQ or lounging midday in the sun. While this home is pet friendly, there won't be space for a game of fetch in the tiny yard. The nearby off leash areas should be perfect for that! ** This is a quiet residential neighborhood! A Stone's Throw Bungalow homes are not appropriate for noisy groups and quiet hours are enforced after 10pm

PARKING
You can park your car in the single garage and just walk your entire stay. Feel free to bring your bikes, kayaks and toys. There is an additional parking spot on the driveway of the garage and nearby street parking as well.

PET FRIENDLY
The Khaya home is a pet-friendly home with an enclosed yard. Pet sheets are provided for furniture. There is a doggy door for your furry friend to go from the yard into the home as well. If you plan to bring your sweet pup(s), kindly let us know prior and remember to pick up your piles! A pet fee applies to each reservation.

Khaya is cozy to neighboring homes. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and enforced. The side yard is bordered by our neighbor's home, so do please do not disturb our neighbor! You are required to observe all Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines during your stay. Please observe all parking instructions and quiet hours. It's easy...Be nice! You're in Bend!
