Home was nice and warm, comfortable. Sadly there was mouse droppings in 2 kitchen drawers, one with silverware. I had food on the counter inside a bag, not just sitting on the counter and mice got into that food also. The info the host left said there would be washcloths in bathroom vanity, no washcloths anywhere and no dishcloths. I am disappointed because we will be going to that area frequently and the location was perfect to getting to our daughter’s place.

We had an excellent family weekend at this location. The proximity to fossil beds, cripple creek & eleven mile canyon was great. We spent the days exploring the area and the evenings enjoying the extremely well equipped cabin.

Great location for us. Close to Cripple creek and several other nearby small towns. Great retreat from the hustle and bustle of Denver. We grilled burgers and porkchops on the 2 evenings here and loved dining on the big back deck. Owner had a spare propane bottle if needed which I thought was an awesome bonus. We will return again.

Needs better/new property management! On arrival the cabin didn’t appear to have been cleaned from previous guests. Beds were hastily made giving appearance of having been slept in recently. Towels in bathroom were folded but wet. There was toothpaste, lotion and powder left all over bathroom sink and vanity. Toilet needed scrubbing. Floors throughout had hair and dirt accumulation-definitely needed vacuuming and mopping. Dishwasher had been run but not unloaded. Trash was removed from inside but not cans from recycling container. The outdoor garbage bin was completely full with no space for any trash we had. We arrived on Sunday and trash pickup was Thursday. Wednesday night a bear got open the trash bin and scattered trash all over driveway. We were told someone would be over to pick it up, however when we left Friday trash still remained. The owner was easy to contact and attempted to address issues but property manager didn’t follow through. Definitely a disappointing experience with this rental but we made it work and enjoyed all the outdoor activities we planned.

For the benefit of our dogs, we sought a 4th of July escape from urban fireworks. We were delighted to find that Craig's cabin was well represented by the listing photos.The cabin is equipped with a mini-split cooling system, which kept it quite comfortable despite rising daytime heat; comfortable beds ensured restful nights. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the elevated food and water station for the dogs.

It was what we needed but upon arrival we noticed it wasn’t vacuumed the bathroom towels were hung up soaking wet. Kitchen counter tops were dirty from the previous visitors and the coffee pot was still filled with old coffee. Dish washer wasn’t unloaded and still wet. Tooth paste splatters on the bathroom mirror and vanity, hair all over the bathroom. After a quick wipe down and washed towels it was everything we needed.

Only there basically for sleeping & breakfast.At first didn’t understand the heating situation, but after discovering it was with the a.c.unit , the heat was OK.A child’s toy on the floor & 1 wastebasket not emptied.Other than that everything was OK

House was smaller than expected. We had an issue with the braker, it tripped when i was in the shower so i had no water. You cant have heaters on while showering. It takes a while for the house to warm up. Communication was excellent though 👌

We loved our stay in Craig's cozy little cottage! It was really a great place to come home to each day after exploring so many wonderful places that are nearby. It had everything we needed plus amazing views from the front porch

Adorable place!

The cute cabin was perfect for my family. The outside decks were great and the views spectacular. The place was very comfortable and close to a bunch of the places we wanted to hit. I got to see a bear and a mule deer that was so friendly we were petting him. Walked right up to us! Will stay again!

CO exploration and concert

Cozy, quiet place. Lovely for bringing doggies along (even though we couldn't bring ours this time) as the place is set up to welcome your pets as well as you. Great location to many, many areas of outdoor exploration and adventure!!
