Beautiful Lake Cabin on Kelso Lake, Idaho! Close to Silverwood!

This cabin is unique, on the shore of Kelso Lake - a small, secluded lake that is quiet and serene. The lake itself is 65 acres with lots of wildlife and amazing fishing for trout and bass. Only electric motors allowed, so it is always peaceful. The gated private side of the lake has 5 active cabins in total. The acreage included is 1.87 with 110 feet of frontage. It is conveniently located between Coeur d’ Alene and Sandpoint, and is 10-15 minutes to Silverwood Theme Park. Food/shopping/supplies are only 10 minutes away. This cabin has 1200 square feet of living space and comes with amenities to make your stay comfortable.. It has been fully remodeled. There are 3 separate sleeping areas that can sleep a maximum of 6 people. (note: 3rd bedroom is a small futon, a perfect size for kids!) There are beautiful hand textured walls with hardwood floors, alder woodwork and handcrafted basalt end tables, a spiral staircase, and a gambrel roofline for added space upstairs. There is also a full daylight basement (unfinished) used for storage, has a wood stove for heat - with electric heat in bedrooms on chilly nights. The outdoor areas include a big patio and fire pit area. Extensive rock work and steel railings contribute to safe access. (There are stairs up to the cabin and down to the lake!) There is a large Shoremaster dock that has space for all guests with 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks. We have spent the last 10 years making this cabin unique- with the ability to come up and relax for days or weeks at a time. It is truly one of a kind.

(Because of the serene atmosphere at the lake, no parties are allowed)

Please note:
Our cabin supports a disconnected lifestyle. There is no Wi-Fi – and only 8 channels on the main television. The other TVs take CDs (side) or we have a connection for Ipads if you have downloaded content. [USB-C] An iPhone cable is available under the dining table.
Some cell phone carriers work great at the cabin. AT&T seems to be the best. Some carriers may have spotty or low signal. Just something to be aware of.
Due to owner allergies - no pets are allowed at the cabin.
At times - outdoor fires are prohibited due to fire danger, and no fireworks are allowed on the property or dock.

Easy check-in, stunning views of the lake and magical sunsets. The dock, the boat, the fishing was incredible. There was something to do for the whole family. The cabin was comfortable and had fun little touches throughout. Our host made our experience warm and inviting and checked on us multiple times. I would recommend this cabin 10 out of 10.

The property was very beautiful and peaceful. We would definitely rent this place again in the future. Easy to get to and only 10 minute from the city. Loved the lake access and the ability to use their dock and boat. We definitely enjoyed the little animals out in nature. I really appreciated the custom wine with snacks they gifted when we arrived ❤️

This was the perfect lake cabin getaway! The house was clean, well furnished and the kitchen was fully stocked. Our host even left us a custom bottle of wine and snacks for our stay!The lake is calm and inviting. The lake deck is large and in great shape. Plenty of room for paddle boards, kayaks and lounge chairs. I highly recommend spending sunsets and sunrises out on the deck overlooking the lake. The hosts have supplied everything from paddle boards, kayaks, inner tubes and life jackets for your use while staying there. You have no choice but to have a great stay!

Stayed here for a wedding with a few friends and my wife. The hosts were very thoughtful in leaving us a welcome gift, and communicating very well throughout our stay. The property was perfect for some casual fishing as well. Would stay again if I visit the area in the future!

Great view from the house to the dock which was nice to keep an eye on younger children. Property was fully stocked with recreational items and well appointed. Easy fishing right off the dock. Would highly recommend for families with all ages of children.

Beautiful cabin on the lake.

We absolutely loved this property. We stayed 4 nights and we were not ready to return home. It’s a quick drive to silverwood if you’re traveling with kids. But. If it was up to me we wouldn’t have left the property at all. It is well appointed. Very clean. The owners are amazingly kind and helpful. Kelly, we’re up for adoption if you’re adopting kids and grandkids! We’ll be back for sure!

Magical Hidden Gem

If you are looking for a magical hidden gem this is it. We were met by the wonderful property owners who were so kind and welcoming. Our stay was perfect! I love that the lake doesn’t allow motorized boats. It was quiet apart from our children’s laughter and screams jumping off the dock! It was absolutely perfect and will forever be in our families core memories Unplug and u wind here. Big bonus is Silverwood is only 12 min away. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful oasis with us!

Perfect lakeside retreat

We booked this cabin very last minute and the owner was incredibly easy to work with and accomdating. We even asked to add a night while on the way and she had the cabin all ready, lights on, waiting for us when we arrived a few hours later. We were in Athol for Silverwood, but this cabin and lake activities were definitely the highlight of the trip. Paddle boards, kayaks and a fun little pontoon boat were all there and ready for our use. We spent every morning and evening on the lake and dock. The house had everything we needed for our stay. No central AC but portable unit worked pretty well to cool the bedrooms down for the night, and it was 90-100 degrees while we were there. Book this cabin for your next Silverwood trip, you'll be so happy you did!
