Excellent stay on a budget! The house is actually two units, so there was some noise from upstairs neighbors. The kitchen was well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay. There was enough outside space for us to hit the volleyball around and the inside was very clean. Essentials were provided and communication was great. The only issue we had was the Wi-fi, it continued to tell us that it was too weak to connect.

Clean and comfortable, but lacking in coziness. It would feel better if it had a few books or games. Also, none of the basic cooking items were included, such as salt and pepper or cooking oil, coffee filters. Most Vrbo homes we have rented in the past had these things.

The apartment was clean and super cute. The only thing to note in the actual town was Douglas Beach, which was a 5-minute drive and a really pretty beach. Holland, South Haven, and St. Joseph were all close, and this apartment made for a good in-between for these towns.

So much to do to stay at this property. I wondered if VRBO changed their policy but no, this group wants you to jump through hoops for the privilege of staying there. Good luck finding property in the dark, behind the house which is a completely different address.Property must have been a garage or related living previously.It was raining while we were there, the grading outside the door has all the water pool right to the front door., so naturally water comes in. They put new floors and appliances in, but the bottom of the shower has mold. They also expect guests to bring the garbage out to the front, excuse me but this is not my house and they have to come clean, wash the sheets, towels so why are you asking guests to do your work??

Good location. Overall not terrible but some downfalls were the yoga ball drumming class held next door at 9am with loud music and instructions over a mic and there was no where in the listing that said there was a unit above this one that was occupied. Surface cleaniness was great but needs a little TLC especially in the bathroom. Obvious plumbing leaks from above with ballooning paint above the shower. Mildew in the shower caulk. Fridge had broken shelving and a broken leg on one of the chairs. It was fine for a short stay but could definitely use some fixing.

Overall a good stay. We had some miscommunication with another tenant but the property manager was very swift in helping us with the situation. A very nice place with good amenities and proper cleanliness.

Convenient and clean

Newer, clean and comfy. Sofa bed sucks for sleeping and needs a cover for extra duvet cover.

Home itself was average. We had enough supplies for a quick start. They were very responsive (within minutes) if I had a question or issue. Home was within minutes to saugatuck and Douglas beach.

The check-in process was easy and the instructions were clear. While there was a kit for us to use in the kitchen with dishwashing soap, laundry pods, sponge, etc., it would have been nice to have a separate soap to use rather than sharing one with the bathroom.

Nice location close to lots of activities

The location of the property is great. Very near Douglas and Saugatuck, with so much to do in the area. Plenty of space for my family as well. Small issue with checking in since the address I was sent was for a different property on site, but we quickly realized the mistake and were able to get in. After hours support was very responsive, and I appreciated how quick they were to communicate. The property wasn't super clean. On our second-to-last day, we noticed a large bubble that formed on the drywall ceiling in the shower that had water leaking from it. With liquid of unknown origin dripping down, we decided not to shower. I reported the issue, and once again, the property was quick to respond. Given the time, it was too late to send someone out to look.

Be sure to check the schedule of the fitness club just 10-15 feet from your bedroom window. I was woken up early (8a) on multiple days by a workout class held outside with amplified music. A major drawback to an otherwise charming little house. The furnace was reluctant to heat up at night and I had to find my own coffee filters/sugar, but such a good value, and I never had to drive more than 12 min the entire week I was there.
