Virginia is an outstanding host! She was very accommodating for our stay. Southern hospitality at its finest. Great property, and centrally located. Very clean and updates throughout. This was one of my best VRBO experiences. Hope to return soon!

The house absolutely charming, the property is secluded. Coffee on the porch listening to the leaves rustle, or walking down to the creek and watching it bubble. All of this and still 5 minutes from town. This place is a gem, and it was the best experience we have had on vrbo. We will be back on the next trip.

Cozy getaway in Bardstown

This home was nicer than the pictures made out. Everything was clean, kitchen was stocked with all tools, appliances needed. The little touches of snacks, chocolates etc. were much appreciated. Would stay again!

Great friends trip to Bardstown!

We had a great time at this property, and host was extremely helpful for any questions that we had. We spent 2 nights here with a group of guys, enjoyed the bonfire pit, BBQ grill, and went to the nearby distilleries during the day. Very private, and beautiful house. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Setting

The setting was so private and serene, yet close enough to downtown. We saw several deer and wild turkey while we were there. The host thought of pretty much everything and then some. Loved it!

Home away from home

This house was a hidden gem absolutely beautiful!! The host went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay! It had games for the kids inside and out, a firepit outside ready to be used and anything you could possibly think of inside for a relaxing stay! Definitely recommend for you to stay here if you are in the area!!

This is the absolute best stay in Bardstown, Kentucky!! The property is immaculate, with rest and relaxation top of mind of this amazing host!! The cozy 5 acres of nature, and gorgeous home, made our 3 days in Kentucky, very enjoyable. The host was very attentive and responsive. The decor was comfy and high-end, and little touches throughout really made this journey exceptional. From Family trips, to girls weekend, and even my squad veteran trips, we'll be exclusively booking this property from now on. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to book here, and we cannot wait to book this property again!!

We absolutely loved this property. Can’t say enough about it. So many little touches, snacks and any possible supply you could think of was at the ready. Very thoughtful. Virginia was there if we needed her and responsive with messages. We were in town for the Stephen Foster Musical and while the property was only about 10 minutes from downtown Bardstown, we still felt like we were in the middle of nowhere with the gorgeous house and property. We will be back! We even had 2 deer come and say bye as we were leaving.

First trip to Bourbon country

The house was everything we had hoped for and so much more! Virginia was an excellent host. She provided us with a bunch of recommendations for places to see and eat. We tried a few of them and they were wonderful. Beautiful property with the creek running through it. We had a fire out at the pit and that just made the stay even better. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and peaceful the whole property was. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who was coming down to the area. You are right were you want to be to visit the distilleries and all of the local attractions. We are already planning on returning next year.

We were lucky to find this hidden gem in Bardstown and to be their first guests. If you are looking for peacefulness, cleanliness, and convenience this is the place for you. The location was absolutely ideal. It was close to all the fun things to do in Bardstown. The location was very quiet, surrounded by lots of trees. Upon our arrival the couple who are the owners were there to greet us and to show us around the property. They were very friendly and accommodating. They also were great in recommending things to do and see in Bardstown which was very helpful. They were very attentive to any questions we had and were close by should we have needed anything. The house was clean, modern, everything you would want on a vacation. Stocked with everything you need and more. The house makes you feel like you are out in the country but yet you are so close to everything. We especially loved hanging out on the front porch, the fire pit and the side patio. One of the best experiences we have had with a VRBO. We loved it and hope to go back in the future.
