¿Estás buscando una experiencia única? Si es así, lo has encontrado en la Capilla de Linekin Bay. La Capilla se convirtió en una casa de 2 dormitorios y tiene los vitrales originales y el campanario. Cuenta con una gran sala de estar abierta con pisos de madera originales y un solárium.

Relájese en la terraza de atrás con una bebida y una barbacoa o vaya de excursión a la reserva limítrofe de Linekin, que ofrece más de 100 acres de senderos para caminatas, incluida la pintoresca fachada del océano. También para practicar senderismo, el Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) ofrece más de 30 millas de senderos costeros y forestales que están abiertos todo el año y son gratuitos para el público. Un corto paseo lo lleva a la audaz fachada de océano abierto en King Phillips Trail, donde hay amaneceres espectaculares. Menos de 5 minutos en automóvil lo lleva a Ocean Point, donde puede ver una impresionante puesta de sol (no olvide su cámara).

La Capilla, también conocida como 'la Iglesia Rosa y Púrpura', fue construida en 1911 y fue una capilla metodista de verano. Más tarde se convirtió en una residencia privada y una galería de arte, y es conocida por la combinación de colores caprichosa.

The property is incredibly unique and in a great location with lots of hiking trails. The hosts are the best we have ever had. We have been back several times; can't recommend enough.

Vacation stay!

The chapel was absolutely perfect for our family (kids ages 3-5). It was very clean, tons of room, fully stocked and a great location. A unique stay for the kids and the hosts were very responsive and friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic Stay

The chaple was FANTASTIC!!! Very clean and well set up for families to be there. It was in a great local. We were able to go to the coast each night to look for sea glass and watch the sunset. We will definately return for another vacation.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful part of Maine!

The little pink and purple chapel in East Boothbay made for an exceptional vacation! It is comfortable, very clean, and the hosts have thought of everything their guests might possibly need. The porch wonderful for morning coffee or dinner alfresco. The location is very convenient for beaches, boat rides, and anything else you might possibly want to do. Highly recommended!

Staying at the Purple Chapel

This is a very comfortable, quirky, beautiful, very well stocked home. We loved the way the sunlight breaks through the stained glass windows and its mellowness. Ocean Point near fails to please and staying at the Chapel was a wonderful (wonder filled?!) bonus.

Perfect Getaway

The Chapel was a wonderful and very unique experience. With just the right blend of modern comfort but keeping the historic touches. The original stained glass windows are amazing when lit up by the morning sun. Great location that was private but close enough to enjoy all the things Boothbay Harbor has to offer.Very comfortable beds and quality linens. Excellent communication with Jason and Kristen, they are great hosts. Looking forward to our next vacation at the Chapel

Another Perfect Stay!

We stayed at the Linekin Chapel in the fall of 2022. We couldn’t wait to come back! This time we stayed for two glorious weeks and the experience was just as perfect as the last time. The chapel is beautiful and so well maintained. It’s a perfect size for us and our two adult daughters. Centrally located, with so much to do in the area. We had deer that appeared several evenings too. Everything we could have needed was provided, such as towels, extra bedsheets, a big kitchen, washer/dryer, lots of games too! Just go up the road to Hannaford to supply the kitchen with everything you need to make homemade meals. We can’t wait to return!

Search no further! Pick this place for your stay! It is beautiful and in a great location. The Chapel is clean, has everything you need in a kitchen. There's also a grill. Lots of games and puzzles. Amazing Getaway to Make Cherished Memories

We love the pink and purple church! It’s an amazing place to stay and enjoy as you’re home away from home. The littlest details are all taken care of for you and you will immediately feel how special this place is. Kristin and Jason are wonderful hosts and will make you feel so welcome! It’s comfortable, very well stocked, beautiful and a great place to stay in one of the prettiest communities in Maine. We have made such special memories at this location. The Perfect Place!

If you have the chance to book this property, do it! So beautiful-the owners have put a lot of work and thought into the details. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. A fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make many meals in-house. The property is perfectly situated between Boston and Acadia and made a perfect landing spot for our many adventures in and around the area. Maine is an absolutely gorgeous state and this charming rental helped this vacation land at the top of our list as an all time favorite trip. Great communication from our hosts. Comfortable, clean and did I mention absolutely beautiful? What could be better than waking up to the sun coming in through stained glass windows?If our travels ever take us back to Maine, we would absolutely book here again. Ten stars!

Great property - would rent again

Our family stayed here for a week in August. The charming chapel is very clean and comfortable. There is a lot of seating, a well stocked kitchen and many games for our 6 and 8 year old children. Jason and Kristin are very helpful - they sent us a packet of information on the area prior to arrival, which was great for doing some advance planning. They also made an effort with wonderful extras like fresh flowers, snack mix and a lovely fresh fruit and cheese platter - what a nice treat after a long drive to Maine! Boothbay has many activities from which to choose including the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, the Railway Village, kayaking, biking and hiking. We had some delicious meals as well - we loved the lobster rolls at the Lobster Dock, sandwiches at the General Store and ice cream at the Downeast Ice Cream Factory. We would gladly return to the area and to the chapel for another summer vacation.

Jason is a Culinary Arts graduate from Johnson & Wales University; Kristin is a Family Nurse Practitioner. We want our guests to have a memorable vacation and enjoy the area as much as we do!
