A charming and quiet escape. Close enough to walk to many attractions and restaurants, but far enough away to provide a quiet night. We enjoyed our weekend at the Turtlenest.

Host very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Very nice room with nice details, hubby realy enjoyed teas. Short walk to trolly, lots of places to eat/things to do nearby. Would definitely recomend.

Cozy little place in a great location within easy walking distance of the heart of St. Augustine. The hosts are on-site and very helpful but not intrusive. Thx for a great stay.

Everything thing was within walking distance. Some areas of the neighborhood were a little run down but everywhere felt safe as the older home are under renovation. There a trolly stop nearby and plenty of restaurants.Our host were very nice and met us at the gate to get is situated. 10/10 we will stay here again.

Beautiful home

My wife and I were looking for a comfortable place to stay in Lincolnville/St Augustine; we were more than pleased with the Luxury Guesthouse! Great location, beautifully decorated, and very convenient to downtown. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay with them again!

Mona was very communicative with us. The Virbo was very clean and kept up well. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying at this Virbo.

This property was in a perfect location for walking everywhere in the historic downtown . The property itself was great . Very clean and had all the amenities for a weekend getaway. The area itself was very quiet as well . Mona was a great host and greeted us with her husband when we arrived . Definitely recommend staying here .

This place was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was so cozy and comfortable, not to mention very clean. Mona was a terrific host who made us feel welcomed. We will be back!

Quiet getaway!

Mona, the host, was very accommodating. Parking spot was plenty big for our truck and off street behind a gate. Unit was sparkling clean, high end finishes. Small touches by the host made the stay extra special. Close enough to walk pretty much anywhere! Highly recommend!

AMAZING place to stay!

Exceptional! Mona and Graham were so welcoming! The property and the room were immaculate! They have thought of everything including a detailed color coded map and a detailed list of some of their favorite places in St. Augustine! We will definitely stay there again! 5 Stars definitely!

Absolutely Perfect!

We visited St Augustine for a few days and stayed at the Turtle Nest. The location is perfect, within walking distance to town. You are only a few miles away from a few beaches. The Turtle Nest has everything you need for a few days or a week. It is decorated so nicely and so clean! The owners are so nice and helpful. They met us on arrival, made sure we were able to park our car in a good spot, gave us dinner recommendations for a birthday celebration. We hope to come back and stay longer in the future!

Hello and welcome! We're so glad you've chosen to stay with us in historic St. Augustine. I'm Mona, and my husband Graham has quite the connection to history himself, growing up in Colchester, England – the oldest recorded town in Great Britain!

When we're not hosting, you'll often find us out cycling or enjoying the beautiful St. Augustine outdoors. We truly love being VRBO hosts because it gives us the opportunity to share our passion for this incredible city. As locals, we've accumulated a wealth of information about St. Augustine, the oldest town in the USA, and we can't wait to help you experience its unique magic.

Just so you know, we live on the property, so we're readily available if you have any questions or need anything. Otherwise, we'll absolutely respect your space and privacy. Feel free to ask us anything – we're here to make your stay fantastic!

We like to meet our guests to give instructions on where to park. For SUV's & Trucks, there is a rear entry into a secure gated driveway.

Guests will have a private entrance to the Guesthouse through a keypad leading up to the second floor above the garage in a safe and secure neighborhood.

We chose this neighborhood in 2003 to be close to the historic city, yet far enough away from the crowds during peek times. We can walk to restaurants, shops and historic sites.

The Turtlenest Guesthouse, built in 2019, is located at the rear of the historic main house built in 1900. The house is featured in the book "Wicked St. Augustine" which tells the unknown history of St. Augustine.
