Traiga a sus hijos y mascotas para disfrutar de sus vacaciones en nuestra encantadora espaciosa Whispering Sands Cottage. Ver el amanecer en el Golfo de México desde la cubierta o caminar 2 cuadras de la playa para una vista panorámica desde el muelle de pesca.

Este punto de vista rural Gulf fue construido en el año 2008 tras el huracán Katrina destruyó la casa original en agosto de 2005.

La decoración de esta casa te hará sentir como en casa. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama con dosel y su propio baño privado. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio y la tercera habitación tiene 2 camas individuales. El sofá se despliega por una cama de matrimonio adicional. Todas las habitaciones tienen televisores y ropa de cama de lujo.

Esta casa tiene una amplia sala de estar con TV de pantalla plana. Sala de estar y comedor tienen pisos de madera nueva. La cocina ha sido actualizada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y pisos de cerámica y está totalmente equipada para todas sus necesidades de cocción. El lavadero tiene una nueva pila de lavadora y secadora. La cubierta tiene una parrilla de gas y tiene vistas al parque con una vista del agua.

La casa es de fácil acceso con 4 escalones de entrada. Hay barras de apoyo en los principales inodoros de baño y confort hight.

Llevar hasta 2 mascotas y les caminar en el parque al otro lado de la calle que cuenta con senderos para caminar, juegos infantiles para niños y una fuente de agua splash pad para refrescarse en los calurosos días de verano. Si desea ejercer el centro de la comunidad está al otro lado de la calle al norte con un gimnasio totalmente abierta al público.

Tenemos muchos campos de golf de la costa. Hay 11 casinos (Island View Casino se encuentra a 3 cuadras de distancia), barcos de pesca Carta, navegaciones Schooner, grandes restaurantes y bares de ostras, o toman la isla de la nave Excursión en barco y disfrutar de las playas de arena blanca un cristalinas aguas de las islas de barrera.

Los niños podrán disfrutar del parque con la plataforma de splash y la playa, o llevarlos a la Discovery Center Lynn Meadows, Islas del parque acuático del Golfo, el Centro para la Educación y la Investigación Marina, o en el Shrimp Boat Excursion donde los delfines saltan a lo largo de lado el barco más día.

Si usted quiere tomar un día de viaje de Nueva Orleans está a sólo 80 kilómetros de distancia. Tome la ruta escénica (Hwy 90) y ver el Old Fort y la naturaleza de cerca (que sólo podría ver un cocodrilo en la carretera).

Great Location

Everything was as described! Love the house, neighborhood was safe and quiet, and a block from the beach. Ms. Nancy was great and very accommodating! Would definitely stay again but for a longer time!

Enjoyable Gulfport stay

Nice clean place to stay. Host was great. Lots of games and movies. Most everything needed for home away from home. Kids enjoyed the slash pad across the road. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Delightful Stay

Clean, comfortable and cozy! The house is bigger than it looks-plenty of room for relaxing, and comfortable seating/beds. The host is sweet as can be, and my crew looked the brownies! We would stay there again! Thank you for a delightful stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. There was plenty of room for all including our 2 dogs. The beach was super close and the nearby park was a real bonus.

Family vacation trip

We had a nice stay at the cottage. It is very close to the beach but, the gulf view from the cottage is really small. Most of the piers in the area are closed due to damage, but still the overall stay was nice. The home is quant and clean.

A beautiful stay on the beach

The house is perfectly located and the inside feels very cozy. The owner is next door but it still feels very private. We loved the porch especially since it rained most of the time we were there, so it made for at atmospheric place to kick back. The kitchen is fully stocked, you can seriously cook a whole meal in there. But bring your own wooden cutting board! Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable house close to the beach

We came down for Jeepin the Coast. The house was in a very convenient location. Nancy was quick to respond and made checking in very easy. She left us brownies for our arrival. The house was very clean and comfortable. I really appreciate that she allowed our pets. Everything you could ever need is provided. Spices, games, beach toys, movies and more. We hope be back next year.

Nice Getaway

It was a short stay, but we very much enjoyed ourselves. The house had everything anyone could need and more. It was close to the beach, making it easy to take breaks, return to the house for meals and drink refills, reapply sunscreen, and more. The house was easy to maintain. The full-size appliances made cooking for six plus three guests a breeze. The neighborhood was quiet, and the park across the street was great for the kids. The splash pad at the park provided additional water play options beyond the beach. We had a great 3-day weekend stay. It was relaxing for the adults and lots of fun for the kids.

Whispering Sands Cottage

When searching for a weekend getaway or a destination for our family gathering, I always have a specific vision in mind. The Whispering Sands Cottage exceeded my expectations and came incredibly close to being the perfect place I had imagined. It offered the ideal size for our group, and its exceptional pet-friendly policy was a significant advantage. Moreover, we were delighted to find the cottage in impeccable cleanliness upon our arrival. The front porch of the cottage provided a wonderful spot to relax in the evenings, either sitting or swinging, while catching up with each other. The layout of the front parlor and kitchen was well thought out and allowed for seamless integration of activities such as cooking, dining, and socializing. The cottage was adorned with charming furnishings that created a cozy and familiar atmosphere, truly making it feel like a home away from home. Additionally, the beach was conveniently located just a block away, making it easily accessible for mesmerizing sunsets or invigorating sunrises. Highly Recommended!

Absolutely Wonderful Vacation Home!

This was our first time renting a vacation home and it was an incredible first experience. We were all a little leery about the house (you never know what you will get when you book online), but it was amazing. When we first walked in we were all completely blown away. The owners thought of everything, from leaving little treats on the table for the little ones, having some beach toys outside, and having every utensil we ever needed in the kitchen. Everything was clean and inviting. We loved that the house came with so many board games, books, and movies. We spent several nights playing games and even found a few new favorites. The beach is just a short walk away (we walked every time), and the playground and splash pad that is right across the road was an extra bonus. Our boys were so disappointed when we left and arrived home. They wanted this vacation house to be their forever house. Thanks so much for creating such a warm and inviting "home away from home"!

Sister’s Bday

We chose this property because of the cost and the fact that there was supposed to be a HOT TUB— our main attraction. When we arrived, the housekeeper was still cleaning the house- she allowed me to come in and see the inside — it was fair but did not meet my expectations. There was NOT a hot tub! A few cats were running around the property which I was not going to deal with. It was an older home that really needs updating. I spoke to the owner and voiced my concerns. She asked me to notify VRBO & I would get 100% refund, which I received. She stated that she never advertised that there was a hot tub— but it is clearly stated that there was a hot tub under amnenities/attractions.

Sisters Visit..

I reserved this home for a short business trip and brought my 2 sisters (all of us are 50+, so no partying) to make it a bit of a pleasure trip. The home was probably the cleanest rental I’ve ever seen. I manage vacation rentals myself and know how difficult it can be to keep it this clean. The owner does a fantastic job. The home is well stocked and furnished with everything you need. Maybe a little dated, but that’s not a big deal. There’s a nice view of the ocean from one entire side of the house. The multiple curtains in the bedroom hinder the view a little, but that’s just personal preference. I like ‘open’ windows, and blinds would be sufficient for me, but many guest want complete privacy. The only thing that we were not happy with was the fact that the owner came into the home during our stay. We came back to the house to drop off one sister that had gotten sick and wanted to lay down, so she put on pajamas to lay down, then heard a knock on the door. Not knowing anyone in the area, she didn’t answer, then she heard the owner in the living room asking if anyone was there. With my business, I would never go into a home someone is renting without calling first. Nancy was checking to make sure the heat was working, but that could have been handled with a simple phone call. Personally, I won’t rent from someone that is living next door again.

Comfortable home and great location

Property was just as advertised and the communication with owner was excellent. Not only is there a vacant lot next door, which is nice, but it opens up a view to the Gulf about 2 blocks away.

We are from Michigan and love the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We have 2 cottages on the same street where we spend the winters with our family and friends. When we are not using them we have decided to rent them as vacation rentals for others to enjoy.
