Art Eco House - National Park La Campana - Olmué

Discover the beauty of La Campana National Park (loved by Charles Darwin himself!) by staying in an ecological house located in the middle of nature! Perfect for relaxation, hiking and a wonderful stay in the heart of the "Biosphere Reserve La Campana-Peñuelas" (registered by UNESCO) within la "Cordillera de la Costa".

Discover this splendid artistic and ecological house made from wood, earth and straw, as well as more than 1500 recycled bottles.
Entirely designed in an ecological way, it has the thermal characteristics to be pleasant in summer as in winter. This house has also been designed to enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains and the valley. The double bedroom on the second floor has a privileged 360° view of the mountains surrounding the Swiss Eco Lodge La Linda Loma.

Location:

The Art Eco House is part of the Swiss Eco Lodge, a 3 hectare property including our family house (couple with 1 child), a small wooden cabin for 2 people (on Airbnb), a renovated stable for 2 people (airbnb), an area with 2 swimming pools, a 1km trail and a car park.

The Art Eco House is approx. 100 meters from the other houses and it is located in such a way as to have complete privacy surrounded by nature.

Pools:

The pool area with panoramic views of the mountains, has a large swimming pool 12 meters long, 4m. wide and 1.5m. deep over the entire surface and a smaller round pool of 3.5m. in diameter and 0.8m. depth.

The pool area is approx. 50 meters from the Art Eco House and is a space shared with travelers staying in the other houses of the Swiss Eco Lodge La Linda Loma.
If there is no one at the pool, we may also enjoy a little swim with our son.

The official pool area season is from
November 15 to March 15*

*The pool may be available before or after the official season but it is not guaranteed

Trail:

Between the swimming pool area and the Art Eco House, a 1 kilometer trail (loop) inside the property invites you to relax your legs in a magnificent mountain setting.
The trail is a shared space with us and other travelers.

Car park:

It is possible to park next to the Art Eco House. Please drive slowly inside the property and in 1st gear when you are driving up hill. There is an other car park (shared with us and other travellers) at the entrance of the property and you have to walk approx. 100m below to reach the Art Eco House in case the road would be too wet. If necessary, a wheelbarrow is available to transport luggages.

Pets :

Pets are accepted. Ideally come with their travel cot. It is forbidden for them to go up and/or sleep in the beds of the house. They do not have access to the pool area if it is occupied.

We have a dog ourselves. There may be other dogs (from the neighborhood) roaming the property.

Attention:

- you have to be very careful with fires (cigarettes, wood fire, grill)
- it is forbidden to organize parties
- it is possible to invite 2 additional people max. for the day by paying a supplement per pers. (additional guests to the group of 4 people do not have access to the pool area if it is occupied)

Price:

The rental is always for the entire house. The base price is for 2 people. The price is different depending on the size of the group: up to 4 people, 5 people if 1 couple with 3 children.

Travelers rent the entire "Art Eco House".

Inside the property (La Linda Loma), travelers have access to the following shared spaces:
- parking at the entrance of the property
- pool area (2 pools)
- 1 km trail inside the property

In order to facilitate your arrival, I will send you the exact GPS address of "Swiss Eco Lodge La Linda Loma".
For your stay and the preparation of your meals, I recommend buying everything before going up, because the nearest supermarket is in Olmué, about 25 minutes by car.
There is a small grocery (El Rancho), 5 minutes by car.
Between Olmué and the Quebrada de Alvarado, there are stalls along the road with fruits and vegetables from the region.
