Come and enjoy our brand new comfy 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home!

Come sit on the porch and enjoy the babbling Cowee Creek! It’s quiet and private! We have a fully equipped kitchen ,cable TV, flatscreen TVs and high-speed wireless Internet and a gas fireplace! And much more!

Free Wi-Fi , we have great WiFi speeds! ( around 25 Megabytes )
Pets welcome! Non-Smoking indoors, smoking allowed on the porches.

Absolutely amazing stay and host. The house has absolutely everything you need, they really have thought of everything, the master bath even had a heating pad and women's menstrual supplies. My type A heart absolutely loved all the labels all over the house. This is a must rent, you won't be disappointed.

Nick’s house is a beautiful property! The location right on cower creek is beautiful. You hear the rushing water from the expansive porch and even in the house. Our dogs really had fun playing in the creek and exploring the property. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing full meals, with beautiful upscale appliances. So many rentals have low budge, uncomfortable beds, but the beds in nicks house are wonderfully comfortable. We slept well every night. You are in close proximity to wonderful activities as well! I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This is beautiful relaxing, in a beautiful area. Waking up to deer in the morning wild turkeys just absolutely beautiful. Bring your food and clothes that is all you need it is furnished with everything. I don’t usually recommend but this is a favorite of ours. The hostess was very helpful anything you need she is there. Thank you Debra and Richard absolutely love the place.

This property is AMAZING! A slice of heaven- beautiful outside and inside!!! Kitchen was stocked, complimentary coffee pods, and condiments- and Debra left us a dozen of fresh eggs when we checked into the rental! 10 stars out of 10- does not even describe how fabulous this rental is for guests.Debra was wonderful, always helpful, and happy to answer any questions. A very easy check-in and check-out. We absolutely loved our time here- we will be back and hope to rent both of the properties!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful peaceful property with us! Absolutely amazing!

This was a perfect relaxing getaway. From the babbling creek, to the beautiful views, to a large, tastefully decorated house, you couldn’t ask for more. Debra was a very accommodating host. She was responsive and went out of her way to make our stay special. Location is close to several picturesque mountain towns. We will definitely come back to this delightful mountain escape.

Very Enjoyable

Very nice location to unwind and enjoy nature. Overall, just some small improvements would have made this a 5 star rating. The property looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while. It wasn't dirty, but dust on counter tops, dirt in soaking tub, the coffee creamers had spoiled and curdled, bed linens were stained, soaking tub leaks onto the bathroom floor. This makes it sound as if this was a bad stay, but not at all. We really enjoyed our visit.

David thank you for your review… I’m very grateful for the information on the things that I need to adjust and attend to! I’m really sorry for the things that were not up to a five star rating. We had just gotten in the bathroom tub finished ( you all were the First guest that got to use the tub) and had not even put any water in it to check for leaks and I will make sure I get that fixed. I will also have a conversation with my cleaning crew that takes care of the other things on your list that were not up to par! Thank you again. I strive to have everything in the manner in which I would like to have a place when I rent, I will make sure these things get fixed.

PEACEFUL

We spent the last 10 days of our summer vacation at Nick’s House. The home was clean and the amenities and furnishings were high quality. The sheets and linens were high thread count and comfortable. Wi-Fi signal was strong & constant and TV’s large & easily linked to our streaming services/devices. The large covered patio/deck draw you outside, to comfortable couches, tables, chairs, and grill. Every day we enjoyed seeing deer, groundhog, and wild turkey. We reserved our Christmas and 2025 summer trip, as we know this place will be hard to reserve as soon as more people discover this gem.

Relaxing Creekside Independence Day

We recently spent our long 4th of July weekend at Nicks place on Cowee creek. We were looking for a place to beat the Florida heat and were not disappointed at all. The location is picturesque and the sound of the creek was very relaxing. We had some severe weather come through that caused a power outage for the whole area one for a few hours one afternoon but really appreciated the host Debbie checking on us frequently to ensure were were ok and sharing the updates from the power company. It worked out nicely as my kids enjoyed playing in the creek while the adults took some time to be unplugged and rest. The whole experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind that is also in close proximity to the Nantahala River, Franklin and Bryson City.
