What a terrific place to stay! Very quaint, very comfortable, and Stephen was pretty much at our beck and call! Very communicative and willing to provide us with any additional amenities that we might have needed, but actually, we had everything we needed. It's so close to so many cool things in the Morton Lake District, including the lake itsel. Great off-street parking. Would stay there agin! Thanks for everything!

We enjoyed staying at the bungalow over Thanksgiving. It's clean, cozy, and close to the lake and a few coffee shops on the main road. The owner communicated well and was responsive. Everything was good.

Very nice stay at this charming little cottage. Well furnished with lots of welcoming touches. The neighborhood is one we love -- accessible, highly walkable, lots of old big oaks and plants that add to the quaint feel of the historic Lake Morton area. Easy check in, with responsive property owners.

Great location. Quiet neighborhood. Exactly what my daughter and I needed for Florida Southern College (FSC) family weekend. She was glad to spend a couple of nights out of the dorms. An easy walk to FSC for activities. Stephen stayed in touch our entire stay. I just didn’t need anything. We would stay here again.

The bungalow was great. We were dropping off our son at Florida Southern and the fold out couch was great for him the first night before he moved in. The rest of the place is plenty large and well equipped. The styling of the bungalow inside and out is perfect for the neighborhood, and the location is perfectly close to everything you'd want to do in Lakeland.Finally, Stephen the host was exceptional. He was very communicative and accommodating.We will definitely try to stay here again.

Perfect Place

My husband and I stayed here for the second time this past weekend. We love everything about this charming bungalow. The location is amazing as it is walking distance to 2 lakes and the downtown. Stephen is a great host and we appreciate how he has everything you need stocked—such as coffee and even a few surprises that made the trip special.

Our stay at Stephen's bungalow in Lake Morton Historic District was absolutely fabulous! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome thanks to his thoughtful extra touches. Check-in and out were a breeze, and communication was excellent throughout. The bungalow itself was immaculately clean, the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, and there was plenty of linen and bedding. We truly appreciated all the "extras"—everything we needed and more! The beautifully landscaped lawn and fantastic neighborhood made for lovely walks, especially to Lake Morton to see the ducks and swans. The location is perfect, being so close to downtown and Florida Southern College, and the private driveway was a huge plus for parking. We can't recommend this cottage enough!

Great stay

Stephen was a great host. Very accommodating. Loved the area. Great for walking to downtown, the lakes, laundry, library. Very comfortable for 2 people. We would stay there again.

We stayed here for the week long air show at Sun & Fun. This facility was very convenient to the event and yet was very comfortable in a very nice and historically respected residential area. Evening walks to the nearby lake was especially ni c e.

Weekend Stay

Property was everything i expected, quiet, comfortable and a wonderful walking neighborhood. Beautiful lake down the street. Home had all the conveniences that a person would need to dine in. Well maintained property. Definitely will stay here again.
