Hi, I’m Shannon and I discovered this amazing treasure under a run down property I inherited. Over the course of a year we sandblasted, scraped, painted & planted to bring this beautiful home back to a “better than original” state. I’ve collected not only historic pieces of furniture, but unique farm implements and nineteenth century details to give you the feel of being transported back in time. But don’t think we’re just looking to the past – no outhouse here. We’ve installed a large walk-in shower and modern bath fixtures, complete with complementary robes. Our modern kitchen is great for making popcorn or cooking Thanksgiving for your family of 10. I’ve worked hard to make sure no detail is missed for the enjoyment of your stay. Historic Living Room...With scorch marks still on the fireplace, you can feel history wrapping around you as you sit back and watch the game on our satellite equipped SMART TV. In addition to the antique furnishings, we also offer a very comfortable queen size sofa bed. Never fear you’re stepping too far into the past because we offer complimentary fiber-optic WIFI.

Enveloping King Size Bed...The antique iron bedstead with dramatic head board sets the stage for a restful sleep with the plush & pampering pillow topped mattress and Soft Surrounding© linens. The second bedroom sports an antique full size bed that has been repurposed, by local woodworkers, to a unique design of bunkbeds. Antique quilts and pillows adorn these beds to make a comfy & cozy place for kids and venturesome adults to rest.

Elegant Dining Hall & Kitchen...Accommodating 8 people, our farm-style table is the heart of the house, easily served from our retro, yet modern, kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with coffeemaker, full size range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer. A selection of coffees, teas and their service are provided as well as dish & glass ware and cooking utensils. Feel free to cook your own meals, have it catered or visit one of the local restaurants just a short stroll away on the town square.

Modern Spa Bath....Although the bathroom has been updated with all new fixtures, it still has the feel of a late 1800’s wash room. The antique cast iron pedestal sink with well lit mirror add to the spa like nature of the walk in shower. Plush towels and snuggly robes to help you relax. A hair dryer and clothes steamer are available for your use. Personal amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup remover towels and more.
