What a great and cozy cabin. We were surprised when we arrived to find a lit Christmas tree in the cabin. What a nice and welcoming touch. Great attention to details and everything still seemed brand new. The host responded quickly to our questions. The one thing that would have made the rating a 5-star would be the addition of blinds on the front main windows. While there are no houses directly in front of the cabin, my wife did not feel comfortable with the wide open windows at night.

Beautiful cabin. Wish the upstairs had a door for privacy but we still enjoyed our time in the cabin & visiting nearby places. Would recommend!

Make the reservation- you won’t be disappointed and the cabin was beautiful and extremely clean! The Hot Tub was probably the cleanest I have ever been in. Loved building a fire in the fire pit and soaking in that relaxing Hot Tub. We will be back!

Not so secluded

House above looks right onto property. Road up to house is badly washed out right before the house. Very drafty and cold despite fireplace. Well stocked with lots of extras and nice touches.

Short and Sweet

We checked in on Friday afternoon and then quickly left to go to the Polar Express with our 2 kids, who are 6 and 4 years old. The place was clean. The fireplace kept us warm. The location was ideal. The only 2 recommendation I have is to put a small stepstool in the restrooms for small children. Also, the shower upstairs leaks a lot of water outside of the shower stall while showering. Overall a great experience!!

Chalet for the win!

This property was perfect for our stay. Close to everything but also private. April had everything available that we might need. She kept us well informed and our Polar Express weekend was a wonderful holiday experience for our family. Thank you April.

Cozy Chalet

We took our grandchildren to Bryson City to ride the Polar Express. The cabin was in a good location. Only about a 10 minute drive to Bryson City. Beautiful cabin. We would stay here again.

Relaxing Retreat

The cabin was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It had everything there that we needed! We didn’t spend a lot of time in Bryson City, but what we saw was quaint, friendly, and everything we could possibly want was close by. We spent most of our time exploring the nearby parks, which were spectacular!! Would highly recommend going to see the elk at Oconaluftee River Trail, hiking Deep Creek Waterfall Trails and Tsali trails, and dinner at the Bistro at the Everett Hotel is an absolute must!!

Great place for a weekend getaway!

My husband and I decided to come to the mountains for the weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! It was around 10 minutes or so from downtown Bryson City. There is only one steep road you need to go up to get to the house, which was appreciated! You can tell whoever decorated it added a lot of thoughtful touches like cozy blankets next to the couch and bed. My husband loved the bear pictures! I do believe there needs to be some more privacy added around the hot tub, there are slats on one side, but should continue around to the other side as there is a house just above this one and can look directly into the hot tub if they are outdoors. We found the kitchen to be fully stocked, except for a shot glass, but we made do ;) The house does also need a welcome book of some kind to explain how to use the hot tub, the TV, local things to do, restaurants to check out and check out instructions. Overall, the place had everything we needed and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
