For the most part, our family had a very enjoyable stay. We saw some fantastic sunrises and sunsets, and had plenty of room for the family. There were a couple issues with the house: 1) There was essentially no lighting whatsoever in the living room. While the beams have lighting on them, the lighting points toward the beams and the ceiling and doesn't light the living room at all. There's a tiny lamp by the window but again, very poor lighting for the living room. The family was trying to do a puzzle on the coffee table and we literally could not see after dark. I think the living room would work fine in the summer when it's light until late, but during the winter when it gets dark early, that's a pretty dark space for everyone to hang out in. 2) The master bathroom shower was clogged. It was very slow during the first couple days, and by the third day it had 1-2 inches of sitting water. Yuck. 3) the guest bathroom shower liner had pink mold on it. Again, yuck. Their house cleaning team should have caught these issues. 5) the kitchen was a nice size, but to be honest, for housing so many people, it seemed a little understocked. More dishes, serving bowls, and pots/pans would be helpful. With our group, we were constantly having to wash and reuse the dishes to stay on top of everything because there was no extra. We mentioned the issues to the owner - and received a "thanks for letting us know" response.
