Cortijo muy encantador más cabaña de troncos / casa de huéspedes en cinco acres. Pradera cubierta de hierba rodea los edificios. Huerta con árboles centenarios, barrio dulce a pie, a cinco minutos a pie de la pesca con mosca en el río. Conduzca hasta Glacier Park y regrese a casa en 15 minutos después de un día de exploración. Famosos pasteles horneados a pedido. La colección de bicicletas vintage te permite dar un paseo por la carretera arbolada. Jean takes great pride in the property and service to the customer - we have stayed in a large number of properties and she is probably the best host we have every had. Readily available but gave us our space too. Great house, very clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed the quiet location but close access to Glacier and Columbia Falls/Whitefish.

Wonderful stay

What a wonderful time we had at this cute, cozy and quiet spot! The deck and large yard was the perfect spot for us to hang out after exploring Glacier National Park. The house and separate little guest house was perfect for our family. Accommodations were clean and provided us with everything we needed. Convenient location to explore GNP and Whitefish. Host was very kind and available if we needed anything.

Such a lovely place with beautiful touches throughout. I loved the decor and gardens. Well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds. And she gave us a delicious pie!

Great stay

House was exactly as listed. Jean lives on property and was a wealth of information and helpfulness. She had an issue with previous renters which bleed into our stay but she resolved the issue and we hand constant communication. Great house and grounds which made the stay relaxing.

The Love Shack is an excellent place to stay. Clean, comfortable and less 20 minutes to GNP. It’s an old farm house that is very well decorated and up to date. It’s very quiet on the property and deer everywhere. Jean was a pleasure to work with and is very interested in your comfort. Next time we’re I. Kalispell my family and I will not hesitate to stay here again. Also the Jean makes awesome home baked pies for her guests. Thanks again Jean

Homey and quaint, and perfect location for exploring Glacier

We had a lovely stay at Love Shack. The house has a "homey" feel to it with many quirky and quaint touches. Our family of 6 was able to live comfortably and explore Glacier by day. We enjoyed our taste of Montana life!

First trip to Glacier

We spent a week at Jean’s place and it was the perfect location to stay while touring Glacier. The house was wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. Jean was a great host and made the stay very special.

Wonderful quiet cozy home.

We loved our stay at this charming home. Easy to find in a nice quiet neighborhood. Nice large yard and patio to relax outside. Jean was wonderful and did everything to make our stay extra special - including a fresh baked pie that was delicious. We would stay here again.

Jean’s home is a slice of heaven, so comfortable and cute…and she is a great host. We visited Glacier, rented side by sides, and went white water rafting and one of our greatest memories will be family time at Jean’s home!

This is a delightful property. The grounds are beautiful. It is an old house but it's been updated nicely. We had seven of us and all enjoyed our stay. And everything we needed for cooking our meals and resting in beautiful surroundings after long glacier hikes.

One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. House itself was wonderful, the owner/host was absolutely amazing, our teens loved the bikes provided and biked everyday down to the lake nearby, location was perfect. We had 7 people and never felt cramped with the log cabin. Would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved out stay at the Love Shack! Jean was a fabulous host and made us feel at home right away! She shared delicious strawberries with us from her garden and baked us an amazing berry pie. It was a perfect location between Glacier National Park and Whitefish! We were able to enjoy the best of both worlds. We would love to visit again if we ever make a trip back out to the area!

A True Gem…the property and the host!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay with our 19 and 21 year old daughters and their significant others at this beautifully restored farmhouse, full of charm and original character. The peaceful acreage and the cozy, single-room log cabin added a unique and relaxing touch to our experience. We had plenty of space for all of us, enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, having meals and playing games at the large dining room table, and loved the outdoor space for relaxing and exploring.Jean was an amazing host—attentive, accommodating, and incredibly generous. She even made us a homemade pie, which was delicious. Jean does live on the property, which might not be ideal for some, but we didn’t mind at all. She was respectful of our privacy and space and when we did interact with her, she was full of joy, kindness, and her thoughtfulness truly made our stay special. We will definitely be going back!

Best of place to stay for GNP!

Jean is so kind and friendly and bakes a lovely pie:) The property is very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. All of the wildlife in the yard is a bonus! We were only 20 minutes from the West Glacier entrance to GNP and only about 5 minutes or less from downtown Columbia Falls, which is a great little town. Our family will not hesitate to stay with Jean the next time we are in Montana!! C

Straight out of a story book

My wife and two daughters stayed at the property for a six day stay and had a wonderful time. My daughters especially enjoyed the huge garden. Quick access to GNP and lots of things to do. I would estimate that I heard the phrase “Super Cute!” hundreds of times from my girls. Thanks!!!!

Slice of Heaven

This is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING place! Jean is the best hostess with a property that is like nothing else. We stayed four nights and five days and we didn’t want to leave. Location is tucked away from Columbia Falls with a beautiful setting- thriving garden, lots of wildlife and access to bikes and an easy walk down to the river. The house and the side cabin are decorated with stunning vintage finds and Jean has such an eye for decor. The best part was arriving on a Saturday afternoon to find 50+ pies baked for the Sunday Market and we got to enjoy a few. Perfect family find- book this NOW!

Wonderful place...

Coming to Montana for family vacation was special, but being able to spend it on this property made it much more so. This beautiful property is well located for our trips to Glacier, as well as seeing some of the other local sights/eateries. It is so restful, with plenty of spots on the grounds for downtime or playtime with the children. There was more than enough sleeping arrangements for our sizable family. It was also such a nice feature to be able to prepare meals using the kitchen. Jean was so welcoming to our family and our kids loved her! She was always available for assistance, and provided us with useful resources for our adventures. We look forward to coming back and enjoying Montana again in the future!

Best of northwest Montana

Jean has created a magical place with many thoughtful, understated touches. Not only is the location ideal for Glacier NP adventures, river rafting, hiking, swimming, dining... but each day on Jean's property brings new discoveries. It's the little things: a small fan for each bedroom, a croquet set for low-key family fun, freshly picked plums from the grove on site, the hammock... even properly working wifi. This very special property creeps into your soul, providing guests with a truly special, deeply Montanan experience. Jean is a marvelous host who, although she lives on site (in a separate dwelling), allows renters their own space both indoors and outside. We couldn't have been happier with our Northwest home, far away from our own Northeast home.

Staying here is like staying with your mother in law

[ ] If you rent a house, it needs to be bug free!!!! [ ] First morning, woke up to gnats all over, most concerning was all over a toothbrush head. Host replaced toothbrush but bug issue continued all week. [ ] Informed her that we were still having bug issues after for was fixed (also still have yellow jackets by back door) & host said just to use other door, which won't shut without locking so was not convenient [ ] Needed to use frozen washcloths to cool down the 4 month old baby [ ] Spider & moth in shower after the house being closed all day- scared the 2 year old in the shower [ ] No chaise lounge [ ] Host would have male guest call her phone number to find lost phone, which ended up being within her reach [ ] We go on vacation to get away from people, not to be harassed by host [ ] Did not respect the privacy of a breast feeding mom-had male contractor within 50 feet of main building [ ] Commented about people going missing all the time around here so make sure to have bear spray [ ] Keep garden gate locked so that deer don't come in and kill themselves [ ] Guests were afraid to sit outside as she would invade their solitude [ ] Created anxiety for all guests to return to property [ ] Host entering house without consent from renters [ ] Green growth/moldy in washing machine [ ] Had to buy $500+ of fans, bug zapper & bug sprays to be moderately comfortable [ ] Host does not allow for visitor privacy [ ] Supplied desk fans inadequate for heat [ ] Can't keep fans on during
