Welcome to your spacious Southern Comfort home, and the gateway to the Okefenokee Park Adventures. We have a large yard with a private patio ready for a briquette BBQ. Meal prep in a fully stocked island kitchen with stainless steel Whirlpool electric appliances.

The sunroom features a complete wet bar and a regulation slate pool table, steps away from the large dining area. The neighborhood is scattered with antebellum architecture and towering pines. You are minutes from the city center and approximately one hour from the beaches. We have all the amenities you need for a fun family gathering or a business trip. The bedrooms are huge, and all the beds have cotton sheets and comfortable mattresses for a great night's sleep. Cleanliness is essential, and our professional cleaners wash all comforters and sheets after every stay, and wipe contact areas with an anti-bacterial cleaner. Freshly laundered towels are in each bathroom as well.

Make coffee "Your way" whether it's a Keurig or a pour-over, you're covered. Watch movies on MAX or Amazon Video. Play a round of golf at our 6-hole mini golf course. Amazon Alexa is also provided to set alarms and listen to music in each room. Just say "Alexa" and then ask it to perform a task like setting an alarm for tomorrow morning at 7. If you like regulation-size Pong or Darts, we have you covered. Our regulation-size Cornhole set is real family fun! All this and more in the 3000 sq. ft. Southern Comfort vacation destination. Your Southern Comfort home has been extensively remodeled for convenience, but is an older home. We have intentionally left some of the older charm and uniqueness to keep an old-fashioned feel. Single pane wood windows and shutters, built-in closet storage, chair railing, built-in hamper and ironing board, crown molding, and high ceilings. Enjoy some of the abstract art throughout the home. We hope to provide you with comfort and value during your stay.

Early mornings are beautiful in Waycross. Have a cup of coffee on the patio and listen to a multitude of birds singing in every tree. If you plan to explore, we are 1.7 miles from downtown Waycross, Laura Walker State Park is 10 miles away, Fernandina Beach is 78 miles away, St Simon Island and Jekyll Island are 60 miles away, Savannah is 100 miles away, and Jacksonville Airport is 70 miles away from our location. Your location is 13 miles from the Okefenokee Swamp's daily guided tours.

Downtown on the weekends, you'll find Bowling lanes with pool tables, Indoor miniature golf, and candle-making lessons. Have breakfast at the Cracker Barrel or grab donuts at Dunkin' or Holt's Sweet Shop and coffee from Elliano's drive-thru, Sheffield Coffee Company, or Starbucks. Dinner at LL Creek or Olive Garden is a local favorite, but there are many more options.

You may want pizza delivered, so call Gooey's or Zoners as they are the local favorites. Wiley's Top Shelf is a great bar with a small menu and a great atmosphere. Before you part, swing by Ganas Pecan Company or Sanders Honey Company for locally produced gifts and eats. -Enjoy!
