Great place to say. Well equipped and clean! The location is awesome. Enjoyed the outdoor area and pool! There were some unexpected extras that were much appreciated. Petra was easy to work with and responded quickly when we asked questions! Thank you Petra!

The Ice House was the perfect vacation house with all of the amenities. Petra went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and was so easy to communicate with. The best part is the outdoor area. I could have spent all of my time there relaxing in the pool, lounging, and enjoying the fire pit and grilling area. The house is minutes from Anna Maria Island. We rented a golf cart and were able to take that right over the bridge to the beaches. We will definitely be visiting again!

Ice and Easy Does it!

The Ice House is a gem in the historic Cortez fishing village. The home exceeds the pictures, and it has every amenity you can think of. The details of tasteful and up to date decor gets the vacay vibes going. We felt relaxed from the moment we opened the door. Our family of 5 had the best week ever there. The pool is the perfect size and even has a bathroom outdoors. We drank coffees by the fire pit, made breakfast on the outdoor grill, drank cocktails by the pool, and appreciated the bikes, fishing poles, and pool house toys. If you know the area it’s walking distance to some our favorites;Cortez Fish Market, Breezy Bakery, Tide Tables, Starfish Company, Swordfish and Cortez Kitchen. Just over the Cortez bridge you can rent a jet ski, SUP or catamaran sailboat from Coastal Water Sports right on the Gulf! Great host and house- 5 Stars all the way.

What a wonderful stay!!

Everything about this house matches and exceeds how it was described! The homeowner responded immediately to all questions. The check in process was super easy and the house has everything you will ever need for a family vacation. Highly recommend this home for you next vacation in paradise!

LOOK NO FURTHER! THIS HOME IS THE BEST!

This home is stunning, impeccably clean, and just minutes from the beach. Petra did a fantastic job making sure her guests have everything they could possibly need. I have stayed in the Bradenton/AMI area multiple times. Petra is, hands down, the best host I have ever dealt with. She was in communications with me the entire trip. I quickly started to stress when Tropical Storm/Hurricane Debbie was on the way and canceled two of our flights. However, Petra quickly responded that we could stay an additional THREE more days till we were able to reschedule our flights. I was extremely grateful for her kindness and hospitality. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. I'm already looking at when we can return and stay at her wonderful home again.

The sweetest getaway

We absolutely enjoyed staying at this house & having a little getaway me and my fiance. We were able to celebrate new chapters in our life and take a moment to ourselves and the house made it all possible. We love all that comes with the home, such as the bikes, which we utilized and explored throughout the area with & all the other amenities. They thought of everything! We are definitely planning on staying again in the future. 10/10 recommend.

Immaculate house !!!

Wow this place was amazing from top to bottom! Besides being immaculate they had everything you need from extra toothbrush to bike . Outdoor space with the pool was my favorite . Also, communication with host was great! Definitely coming back!

Cortez is a historical landmark with 97% of its buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. This includes our "Ice House", which once was the building for local fisherman to get ice for their catch...

There is much to do in the Village of Cortez that can fill up your schedule. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars, biking, fishing, and much more....
