Bienvenido a OM Shanthi (trans: Paz). Om Shanthi es un alquiler de vacaciones tranquilo y estéticamente agradable para aquellos visitantes que buscan una vivienda tranquila y pacífica en la que disfrutar de su tiempo en los Outer Banks.

Nuestra casa de playa de tres dormitorios / dos baños es uno de los mejores condominios que encontrarás en el OBX. ¡Nos enorgullecemos de proporcionar los mejores muebles, comodidades y obras de arte en esta casa limpia y bien iluminada! Mantenemos nuestra cocina abastecida con las herramientas e ingredientes básicos para cocinar, así como la necesidad básica de lavar la ropa y bañarse.

Si buscas un ambiente de fiesta, este no lo es. Hay otros condominios en Duck que atienden a piscinas llenas de gente, extraños borrachos en el jacuzzi, mucha alegría y muchos niños. Nantucket Viliage no es eso.

This was a great little condo! Great communication with host and such an easy check in process. The only downside for us with small kids is that you do have to cross the main road to get to the beach, but everything about the condo itself was fantastic. We ended up driving down to the first public beach access in Corolla and parking there, which worked fine!

This condo was very comfortable, spacious and generously stocked with supplies. The check in process was seamless with door code provided and there was a garage we could store our beach stuff so no need to carry up and down the stairs. The community was quiet with nice tennis courts and a dock on the sound were very nice. Important to note the pool is indoor.

Beautiful property located just on the outskirt of the Town of Duck. A short walk down to the pier/dock sound side and not much of a longer walk to the oceanfront. The property offered plenty of parking and the most comfortable, welcoming home. We would definitely recommend this home when looking for a getaway in Duck/Kitty Hawk NC!

The condo was spacious and well appointed. We had everything we needed to sleep, bathe, cook, and relax. My nieces aged 10 aand 15 especially loved the jacuzzi. The adults were more enamored of the screened patio for bug free wine sipping in the evening. I had a few minor questions for the host and Chris replied promptly and to my satisfaction. We really couldn't have asked for a better family location for relaxation and entertainment.

The home was even better than the pics. We felt so comfortable, it had more stocked supplies and equipment than we anticipated, it was quiet and the walks to beach sunrises and sound sunsets were easy. The host was terrific and we’d love to come back.

This enchanting home, nestled blocks away from the bustling shops of Duck, was stocked with everything a family could need. Beach towels, a Weber grill, spices and cooking supplies and a truly eclectic choice of books made for a delightful week. The host was so kind, welcoming us with flowers, cookies and a bottle of wine. Our kids felt like it was made just for us because of the fun and kid friendly decorations. The perfect beach house for a family.

Great stay!

My friend and I spent 4 lovely days in this comfortable and quiet home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location was great. Owner was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Wish we had stayed longer!

OBX

We stayed at the property to celebrate a friend’s birthday celebration in the area. The condo was a perfect place to relax and rest. It was also comfortable and quiet within the condo. Location was in a prime area and close to a lot of amenities by car less than 5 mins to the Duck Boardwalk. You could also walk into Duck- It’s @ 20min walk. Easy to get to Kitty Hawk and museum as well. Everyone, including my 15 y.o., enjoyed the space and location.

Comfortable Stay

Chris' place had everything that we needed. The kitchen was well stocked (some of the sharpest knives I've found in a VRBO), bedrooms comfortable and bathrooms clean. Just over a mile into Duck, it made for a nice walk. The sound-side pier was a nice perch to view to sunset. Basketball/tennis court and pool (with equipment available) were nice. If you're not a morning person, the early intrusion of sunlight may be difficult (not the darkest of curtains/shades) but worked for us. Also be aware that footsteps in the other units are fairly audible. We enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant Stay, Great Host

The home looked as it did in the pictures. It was clean and well stocked. We greatly appreciated the amount of space, warm welcome from the host, fast response when we had a question here and there, and sweet touches like a stuffed animal in the kid's room and welcome treat for the adults. The walk to the beach does take you over a busy road and requires at least a 7 minute commitment. We quickly learned to keep our beach bag light.

First trip to Duck

Our stay in Om Shanti was quite enjoyable. The condo is located very well for all we wanted to do during our trip. Chris had placed a note along with fresh flowers and a bottle of Pinot for us to enjoy…so very kind! The condo was incredibly clean which is always at the top of my list of requirements. We had more than we required for our stay. We so appreciate all of the small details that are often overlooked. My boys and I are already planning for next year and we’d like to stay here again. Many thanks!

Wonderful, Comfortable Condo; Great Location, Too!

Felt immediately right at home in this lovely condo. The space feels very personal/indivicuall, as compared to so many sterile rentals that all have the same finishes and decor. The place was immaculate, had everything we needed, and the host was great! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay

Great place, but through no fault of the owner, it has been like a bad trip to the dentist to try to get my overly excessive security deposit back from VRBO. I would recommend the owner use a different company as this policy is ridiculous and I still haven't gotten my $1,500 back, which was more than I paid for the room.

Great 90th Birthday Celebration

Had a wonderful time with family celebrating a 90th birthday! Perfect place for 5 adults. Lots of windows and nice outdoor spaces. Comfortable and clean.

Nice and Relaxing

Nice comfy condo for our family of 4. One member of our family enjoyed the jacuzzi. :) Nice neighborhood with great sunset views. Kitchen had plenty of cooking ingredients and quality pots & pans.

Very nice and clean. Only had one tv, wouldve liked to have one on each bedroom. Beds were super hard. The address was not easliy found, could use better directions. Would stay again.

Gorgeous property near the sound

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely property in Nantucket Village. The property is steps from the sound and the sunset views are breathtaking. Multiple balconies on the condo were nice for reading and simply enjoying nature. There is a sound side pier which is super relaxing in the evenings especially. Quiet neighborhood and kind community made for a wonderful experience. Well maintained and clean property with a knowledgeable and responsive host. Only recommendation is to make sure arrange for a beach umbrella service as the walk to the beach is a bit far to carry heavier items.

Chris and Jesse are father and son who are also professor and student at Virginia's Old Dominion University. Om Shanti was the creative passion of their wife and mother, Connie, an artist and spiritual leader who died too early, but not before creating this unique space for reflection, relaxation, and recreation. Chris and Jesse lovingly maintain the property with tremendous care and take pride in making each guest's experience a special one. This is not simply a vacation rental; it is gift to share and be shared.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

There is no community on the Outer Banks like Duck and no property in Duck quite like Om Shanti. We sit on the top of a hill with views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound. The sunrise from our second story unit is absolutely awe inspiring. And the night sky is a sight to behold for a city dwelling star gazer!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

One of the nicest things about the location of OM Shanthi is it's situation. Weekend turn over days in the high season do mean a long line of traffic into Duck. Jaycrest Road is literally the first street once you enter the Town of Duck. This can save you a lot of frustration and boredom from sitting in traffic. You will be at the beach while others with rentals further into the Village are still in traffic.

Nantucket is a low-key kind of complex. Our indoor pool is a perfect temperature, with outdoor showers and sunbathing deck.
