I felt safe, the home was nice and clean, the property manager was readily accessible when I needed assistance. It was close to my mother's house and I felt safe going for walks in the neighborhood

The living space was clean but the oven, microwave, master toilet and washing machine was all very dirty. Also lighting is very bad and if you sit on th couch there is no coffee table or end table to set anything Could not get remote to tv to work. The front door was very temperamental to operate (the lock). It was a pretty cold place from temperature to decor however the location was great for us

Host is very responsive. We have actually rented this property twice because the location of it in proximity to family is so close and it’s in a nice neighborhood. I only leave a somewhat lower review because the property has a lot of potential tobe great. The house has very little comforts of home. It’s pretty much just beds and showers. It was filthy upon arrival. Simple changes like lamps in bedrooms, adequate towels, a coffee table and cleanliness would go a long ways. It was priced fair for what you got.

Beautiful Home

Overall our experience and the home was very nice! Our only complaint/concern was that the Lysol smell was overwhelming and gave the entire family a headache. We had to open a lot of windows in order to help with the smell. Secondly, the front door needs to be held and spoken to nicely before she would let us in! Otherwise we had everything was nice and we had everything we could need!

Great time!

The house was extremely clean, spacious, and had a lovely garden. The kids had plenty of room to play, and the neighborhood was really nice with friendly neighbors. There's a beautiful kid friendly park just a few minutes away with ducks and fish swimming in the water, which was very enjoyable. The host always responded very quickly, very friendly! Overall, we had a great time in Mountain Home, and having a comfortable place to call home for that period was essential to our experience. If I ever visit this town again, I would definitely choose this place again without a doubt... I highly recommend it 10/10!

Needs attention

We wish this new host the best and hope our suggestions will help in finishing the vacation stay - preparing for future guests. Two bathrooms with tubs listed but only one available due to cracked tub. Dishes left in dishwasher - cleaned but not prepared for incoming guests. Microwave, kitchen cabinets/drawers, and bathroom drawers left with food and hair. Dusty throughout the home. Laundry room could use cleaning and or updating of machines. Upon arrival no outdoor lights were on. We were unable to adjust home temperature until host gave code the next morning. Found it unusual a plastic mattress cover was used on our king bed which crinkled every time someone moved in bed and no cover up sheet on either bed. No mention of security camera - but noted a ring doorbell with possible camera at entrance Beautiful home when first arrived late at night in viewing and good communication with host. Good price for our short stay but have higher cleaning expectations. The snacks, coffee, and toiletries provided were appreciated.

Very Disappointing

The house was a shell, no amenities whatsoever, including adequate furniture, kitchen utensils and supplies. We rented this property so three adults would have a comfortable place to stay while packing for a household move. Preparing our own meals was a primary motivation. I have stayed in many VRBOs over the years. I have never checked out early or requested a partial refund (which was totally disregarded). The living room had one couch and a tv, nothing else–no coffee tables, end tables or chairs. We brought our own until we had to pack them and other supplies, at which point we moved into a hotel at significant expense. No bedside lamps and the overhead light in the master didn’t work – we brought our own. The kitchen lacked all but a few utensils and very limited pans – not even a can opener (we brought our own). Needless to say, no small appliances like blender or food processor – only a toaster. No ice cube trays and dispenser didn’t work. No mixing or serving bowls. No pods for the dishwasher, which likely explains the poorly cleaned dishes – we bought and left some. No garbage bags beyond the one in the can. There was only a partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no backup. There were no dishtowels and only one potholder. Nothing but salt, pepper and olive oil. Only enough laundry soap for departing towel load. Insufficient bathroom linens for three people – no bathmats. The front door code never worked, the garage code only sporadically.

Great clean home in a good neighborhood near a nice park. Issues getting in with the electric lock acting up, but the owner was really helpful and easy to get ahold of. It would be nice to have a little more “home” comforts like some games, propane for the outdoor grill, blender/crockpot, enough tp and bags to last the week. But overall I would stay again at this property, just

We were visiting our son and his family so we basically slept here and ate breakfast. This home more than met our needs and was in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.
