Great Location with everything you need

Location was perfect. Having a washer and dryer made it even better with 8 of us staying. Pool was nice also.

The check in process is awesome, perfect location to walk to all of north end of island. The property rooftop pool is small but perfect for the evenings. The only reason for 4 stars is had some issues with the showers / draining and there’s some things that could be updated and replaced (shower heads, bathmats , kitchen ware ). Overall would stay again

the home was nice- little distressed on the inside but if you want to be in town than it was a good experience. Next time would stay closer to the ocean. It fit 7 of us comfortably and was a nice experience, close to everything. Communication was excellent and we felt safe and secure with double locks one on the gate and one at the door.

Basic but adequate

This is a no frills place. Very basic. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen adequately equipped. Some problem with the rooftop railing that need to be addressed. It is noisy due to the central location. Good place for a large family/group and centrally located for exploring the north end of the island

Better than advertised!

We loved our stay. We've been coming to the island for years but never stayed downtown. We were hesitant because of the noise (we had young kids and babies). This place surpassed our expectations. It felt quiet and private. We loved the rooftop space and pool. We could see sunrise and sunset as well as the entire island. Perfect for a big group. The central location made it easy for everyone to come and go as they pleased. Easily one of our favorite stays on the island. Would try to book again.

Great location, beautiful place

Pros: 4 nice sized bedrooms and 3 nice bathrooms. Kitchen/living space is good size. Balcony and a rooftop. 360 degree water views from the roof. Pool was lovely. Excellent location for a downtown stay. 5 minute walk anywhere in downtown (Playa Norte, bars, restaurants, tacos, malecon, Aki and the Mercado). Great value for a friends trip or for a larger family. Also, the building stands out and is easy to find your way home after a few mojitos. Cons: The kitchen is sparsely outfitted. Living room sofa is not comfortable to sit on. Unaware of how to access laundry facilities. Pool motor is disturbingly loud. Nice stay, will look to book this place again next visit to Isla Mujeres.

Not the best of luck!

The place was as advertised, because of improper maintenance the fuse boxes caught on fire, killing all electricity, and water supply. Having to find a new place to stay on the busiest weekend of the island was not easy, although the host refunded us the remaining days, do not help find a new place, or a solution leaving us, stranded, looking for a place. There was no offers to help us find the police or help us move once we found a place, I guess we can chuck it all the bad luck, but it definitely did not make for a good vacation.

During the stay of this guest there was an electrical short on one of the meters from the electric company that are attached to the outside of our building. This is in no way a result of improper maintenance on our part as is written in this review but rather a result of faulty equipment from the electric company and the strain placed on that equipment by the all to often power outages on the island. Needless to say the loss of electric service to the building for an extended period as well as the damage caused by this issue was a very costly and stressful situation for us as small independent owners. We were in immediate contact with this guest and the others in the building and refunded them right away. We did help guests who asked for help with finding other accommodations but this guest did not ask us for this help. Our team was working non stop to get this situation resolved but as small independent owners our resources are limited. We apologized to all of our guests as we were deeply sorry for this situation but it was totally beyond our control and not at all of our making. I can assure perspective guests that this was a one time occurrence and we have never had to cancel reservations at any other time in over a decade of offering accommodation. Once again we express our gratitude to the guests who went through this unfortunate situation and we apologize for the inconvenience that it caused.

This space was perfect for our 5-day stay on Isla Mujeres. The central location makes for a short walk to Playa Norte and tons of restaurants. The property was comfortable and we all felt it was even nicer than the photos make it look. As all the reviews I read stated, the kids in our group loved the rooftop pool. We also loved sitting on the porch and watching everyone walk below. The roof also has terrific views. The only real room for improvement I would suggest would be better pillows for the single beds and better Wi-Fi if available on the island. The Wi-Fi worked sporadically and was extremely slow when it was working. Overall, however. I would definitely recommend this property if you want a 4-bedroom that is centrally located.

Great location!

This was a perfect spot for the 5 of us. We wanted to stay close to north beach and many of the restaurants. We loved the number of bathrooms and bedrooms for us to spread out. The restaurants were within steps (highly recommend the Mediterranean restaurant accross the street) The roof top pool and lounge area was also a bonus. We would love to come back!

Casa Misy in the heart of Isla Mujeres

We loved our stay at Casa Misy. Being right in town meant we were steps from shops, restaurants, and the beach. We loved sitting on the balcony and people watching. Reginald is a very response host as was his caretaker Miriam. We would happily rent there again.

Perfect Centro Location

The location of this property is wonderful. Restaurants and shops all in walking distance and only one block from cento beach. Very safe, secure and clean. We could not have asked for anything more. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

A perfect stay at Casa Misy

We booked a week stay at Casa Misy for December 2020. Given the state of the World at the time, we felt cancelling our trip was the best thing for our family. Reginald was very accommodating and allowed us to book our time in 2021 without penalties. The house was plenty large for our group of 2 adults and 3 children. We spread out comfortably in the bedrooms and appreciated having private bathrooms in the bedrooms. We didn't end up needing the kitchen, but it was well-stocked with everything one would need to prepare and enjoy private meals. The kids swam in the rooftop pool everyday while the adults relaxed in the loungers. We also found the location extremely convenient to the local restaurants and playa norte. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better stay. We had an amazing week. Some of our favorites were lounging on the beach cushions and eating lunch at Guru, eating breakfast at Lola Valentina and Rooster, eating dinner at Brisa Mexicana and Mamma Rosa, and eating gelato daily at Gelateria Monte Bianco. Highly Recommend!

Great location and Amazing Views!

Great time at Casa Misy, we’ve been to Isla many times, and we really appreciated the central location and the private pool on the roof. You can see the water on both sides of the island from up there! Great for stargazing as well. The centralized downtown location made eating and drinking and beaching convenient as well! We’ll be back!

Just what we hoped for!

We were traveling as a family of 6. We needed a place where we could stretch out a little and just relax. The house was perfect! The roof top pool a bonus! We were able to fix our own food and relax in comfort during our time.

Great Location in Centro Isla Mujeras!

Great spot right in the middle of the action. Rooftop pool is perfect for cooling off after a hot day at the beach. AC is super cold and each room has its own thermostat which is really nice. Great place to stay, highly recommend!

Excellent location and owner

Property location is ideal, and the owner is accommodating. A property manager met us, and she was welcoming and kind. Only downsides to the property were things like damaged lampshades and dated CFL bulbs and worn out and limited (2) tiny kitchen towels - - but those are the details to adjust expectations. My family and I absolutely loved our stay here and would and hopefully will stay again. Great owner and great property. I state those points bc I think the owner could correct a few items and actually charge more. We’ll be back, I hope!

Great Location & Enjoyable Stay

This Condo is in the heart of downtown and was such a convenient location to come back to everyday. Place is steps away from all the restaurants and such a short walk to the beach. The pool on the rooftop was surprisingly deep and was a great place to cool off when taking a break from the beach. AC worked really well, got very cold at night. Enjoyed people watching and looking out over the streets/island from the Balcony and Rooftop. We had absolutely no issues with noise whatsoever when going to sleep. Overall our group enjoyed our stay.
