Higher-end 3,281 sq ft "cabin", with two large and comfortable living areas, huge equipped kitchen/dining/great room with 20' ceilings, windows filling the walls and room with light, 3 king and 2 bunk rooms, 10 beds, and 4 full bathrooms. Golf, hiking, mountain biking and more in the summer and cross country and downhill skiing, snowshoeing in the winter. The golf course is in the back yard, but filtered with a layer of pines for privacy. Close proximity to Tahoe Donner's ski resort as well as easy access to Northstar California, Palisades Tahoe, Boreal, and a few other resorts. Easy access to downtown Truckee's restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Donner Lake is a short drive away.

The home sleeps up to 10 guests (plus up to 4 additional children under 13 years old, for a total of 14 guests with the extra kids included), making our home a perfect destination for large families, small company retreats / golf outings, multi family groups, and friends.

KITCHEN:
Fully stocked kitchen with gas range and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, tea kettle, drip coffee maker, rick cooker, air fryer, and everything needed to prepare a holiday feast! A large stone fireplace separates the kitchen and large great room, enjoyable from both sides, and the large granite island is great for extra seating and entertaining.
The large dining table sits up to 10 (with extra seating at the island) and is perfect for gathering with friends and family over a home-cooked meal. There is also a high chair if needed.

BEDROOMS:
10 beds and 5 bedrooms (one is an unofficial bedroom, with no closet):
Bedroom 1 (Upper / Main / Entry Level): Master suite with a king bed and ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower and double vanity
Bedroom 2 (Upper / Main / Entry Level): King bed and a spare twin cot in the closet, with full bathroom access shared with hallway
Bedroom 3 (Lower level): King bed with ensuite
Bedroom 4 (Lower Level): Two twin over twin bunkbed sets, with twin mattress under one of the sets, for a total of 5 beds. Wonderful for the kids!
Bedroom 5 (lower level): Not an official bedroom because there is no closet. There is a wardrobe for clothes, and a set of twin bunk beds. There is a private door and window.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
* 10 guests (plus up to 4 additional children under 12 years old for a total of 14 with the extra children included) MAX
* 6 cars MAX - No exception. 2 in garage and 4 in driveway. No street parking.
* The hours between 10:00pm and 7:00am, seven days a week are considered quiet hours per the local rental ordinance, during which noise shall be minimized. If it can be heard from the property line it's in violation of the local noise ordinance. Please do not use the patio during this time - noise travels up here and there are full time residents around.
* Amplified music is not allowed outside at vacation rentals at anytime. That is, no outdoor speakers or music for neighbors to hear.
* Exterior lights must be tuned off after dark, when not using them.
* Trash must go in the bear box (or be left in the garage)
* Most of the Tahoe Donner amenities have a nominal fees, with guest pass, if you choose to use them. Trout Creek Rec Center is currently $30 per guest; infants 0-2 years old are free, kids 3-6 are $10.
* All vacation rentals have a max of 6 passes for 6 guests to use amenities at once. There are blackout dates on certain holidays and peak times - check with us for more details.
* We will confirm reservations, within 24 hours of being made.

We expect all guests to be respectful, mature, and responsible. There is a zero tolerance policy abusive and negligent guests, loud groups, etc. If you want to squeeze 20 people into a house and party hard, this is not it. This is a tasteful, and well appointed home - please treat it as your own. NO LOUD or LATE PARTIES.

Guests agree to comply with Truckee and Tahoe Donner Vacation Home Rental ordinances and our rental agreement (emailed separately), and failing to do so, or violation of home rules in the listing, may result in egregious penalties, forfeiture of security deposit, and even eviction.
