3br Waterfront Cottage on Thompson Lake, Pine Point Road, Oxford, ME

We would like to welcome you to beautiful Thompson Lake in Oxford, Maine. Thompson lake is a nine mile long lake, perfect for boating, water skiing, snorkeling and fishing. Our cottage is located on a secluded forest road just feet from the water. We call the location "Blueberry Point" after all the blueberry bushes that grow along the lake shore. You can relax in the peaceful atmosphere, enjoying boating, fishing, and sunbathing on your own private dock.

Explore over 200 ft of water frontage! There is a large level yard with plenty of parking and horseshoe pits and basketball hoops. Also included is a shore-side fire pit, outdoor tables & chairs, dock, a 14' aluminum rowboat w/oars, and registered for up to 9.9hp (your) motor, 17' canoe w/ paddles and life preservers and seat cushions. And for the kids, there is a basketball hoop, swing set and a shallow sandy swimming area, a sand box with toys, rubber balls, croquet set, badminton set and other play toys. There are two public boat ramps within one mile, a motorboat rental company located on the lake, and also available is a sailboat rental Company that delivers to the lake. There is an outdoor propane BBQ grill, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The cottage features a loft and two bedrooms with three full-size beds, one twin bed; and a pull out twin sofa. Sleeps eight.

There are no Covid-19 restrictions or protocols in Maine at the moment, April 2024. Renters must supply all their own sheets, pillows, dish-towels, dish-cloths, hand-towels, and personal bath-towels and face-cloths. Sleeping on mattress pads without sheets or sleeping bags is not allowed. Sleeping bags on beds are allowed.
Owners and renters will comply with all sanitation protocols for Short-term Rentals, including sanitation and surface disinfection, Renters will wash dishes, glasses, cups, silver-ware and cooking pots and pans after use: also, one newly washed mattress cover and blanket will be provided per bed. Occupancy is limited to eight persons.

Telephone and Wi-Fi/ internet service is available in the cottage, as well as Cable TV. We provide a DVD player with the Television. Cell phone reception for many carriers is good.. Thank you.
