We had a great stay! The view was amazing, and the house was clean and the AC very comfortable. The location was perfect—really close to Sunset Marina, which made boating on Dale Hollow Lake so easy. The owners were fantastic—super helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions. We would stay here again!

Great location and convenient to Sunset Marina. The host did a great job of supplying household items needed for a trip. The place was very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a beautiful view of mountians and lake, i suggest giving this place a try.

You won’t be disappointed!!

Such a beautiful place!! The view is amazing, so quiet, peaceful, tranquil. So clean, neat, you can tell the owners really care. Hopefully we will be able to stay again in the future! Penny is amazing, great communication.

We highly recommend this cabin. It was the perfect combination of comfort, location, and relaxation. The cabin itself was clean. The hosts' check-in and check-out were a breeze, and they were readily available to answer any questions we had.

The layout was not very convenient, and the view did not meet expectations. The largest bedroom was separated from the rest of the cabin and did not have a bathroom. There were no curtains or blinds in the largest bedroom or the living room, which made it hard to rest.We also had issues with the hot and cold water, one bathroom was not very clean, and no drinking water was provided. The cabin has potential, but these issues affected our stay.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We’d like to clarify a few points for future guests. The largest bedroom is located above the garage and is intentionally designed as a private suite combined with a playroom. This layout is shown in our listing photos and description. However, we currently have someone under contract to add a full bathroom specifically for this area. The master bedroom and master bathroom are downstairs in the main area. Regarding window coverings, we appreciate the feedback. The cabin is isolated and the entire back living room is designed with glass windows from top to bottom to enjoy the beautiful view as shown in our photos. Any water temperature or cleanliness concerns are taken very seriously, and we wish we had been notified during your stay so we could have addressed them immediately. Our cleaning team has very high standards, as do we, and they have been reminded of this. We’ve also reviewed the water system to prevent future issues. Drinking water availability varies by guest preference, but potable tap water is provided; however, we understand that bottled water is appreciated and are considering this for future stays. We truly appreciate the feedback as it helps us continue improving. We’re proud that the majority of our guests rate their stays very highly, and we remain committed to providing a great experience for everyone.😊

Family trip

The view was beautiful.All the amenities were great.We had everything we needed to have a great family get away.It was a short 9 minute ride to the marina which made it very convenient.it was kid friendly which we appreciated with 4 children from 10 to 3.We will definitely be back.The host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and let us know she was available anytime.

We had a great stay at this cabin. Everything was perfect, from check in to location to comfort to check out. Our furry family had a great time as well. Also, Penny and Jerry were the most communicative owners we’ve ever encountered. They made us feel at home even before we arrived. They are incredible hosts. We will be back!

This is a great cabin!! We were in town for the TN State High School Bass tournament. The cabin is very close to Sunset Marina. There is a good ramp even closer and you can launch for free but it is a gravel road to get to it. The cabin is very clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there. The garage was a life saver as it rained every day we were there. We were able to park the boat in the garage and have a dry place to prep for the next day tournament. We fish all over the state and stay in cabins, houses, and campgrounds. This cabin definitely is our new favorite and we will definitely be back!! Jerry and Penny called to check in on us a couple times. Jerry and I even swapped some fishing stories! Great hosts! Great cabin! I wouldn’t change a thing.

This was our second stay in this cabin. We love this place!! Jerry and Penny are the best hosts. They checked in on us several times to be sure we didn't need anything. We travel the state for bass fishing tournaments and stay in numerous VRBO properties. This one is our favorite! Bring your boat and enjoy Dale Hollow lake. Sunset Marina is a 5 minute drive from the house. Great cabin, very clean, and has everything you need for your stay. We will definitely be back!! Thank your Jerry and Penny for sharing your beautiful cabin!!
