The Bell House - Contemporary Comfort Near Wards Road with a Luxurious Hot Tub!
Welcome to Our Newly Remodeled Home.
We are excited to announce that the interior of our home has been completely remodeled, featuring brand-new amenities designed for your comfort, including a luxurious saltwater hot tub. However, please note that the exterior is still a work in progress. The landscaping is awaiting the care of a green thumb, and you may notice that the siding has a unique, multi-hued charm. Note that there may be outdoor noise from the train.
Unfortunately, we do not have washers and dryers available for guest use, and a few outdoor projects are currently on hold.
We believe in transparency and honesty, so we share this upfront. If these quirks don’t bother you, we’d be delighted to host you. Rest assured, as soon as we’re back on track financially, we’ll be sprucing up the outside too.
Step into a world of comfort and luxury with this exquisite rental home, perfect for a group of 6 with space for an additional 2 guests on the sleeper sofa or futon.
Here are some highlights of our property:
- Check-out at 11 AM
- Hot Tub Access for registered guests: available from October to April. Enjoy our luxurious Hot Spring Flair hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Guidelines for hot tub use can be found in the Hot Tub Guide provided in our welcome book.
- Located in a peaceful setting, this house has three well-decorated bedrooms, each with a 55-inch wall-mounted TV. The bedrooms come with a digital alarm clock offering wireless charging, five white noise options, and a three-color night light. The upstairs bedrooms have large king-size beds and an adjoining bathroom. On the ground floor, there’s a bedroom with a king-size bed near a beautiful bay window that lets in plenty of natural light, along with a queen sofa bed in the living room, which also features a 65-inch TV. Additional sleeping futons are situated between the kitchen and the screened porch. This home also features two stylish bathrooms: one upstairs with a bathtub and one downstairs with a shower, both equipped with deluxe waterfall showerheads.
- Our lovely Bell House is only two minutes from Wards Road, the primary business thoroughfare. You’ll find CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, and more. Its location is highly convenient for all colleges in the Lynchburg area and provides easy access to highways.
- At the front of the house, there is a cozy seating area, while the screened porch at the back comes equipped with comfortable seats, LED lighting, and a selfie wall featuring a pink “love” sign that lights up at the push of a button.
- The well-equipped kitchen is fully stocked with an air fryer, a 4-slice toaster, and a crockpot for our guests. It has all the essentials for baking and cooking, including various spices, a water kettle, and an outstanding coffee station. The coffee station has a starter kit with K-cups, medium roast ground coffee, decaffeinated ground coffee, instant medium roast coffee, cappuccino mix, a milk frother, and a French press. We also provide five different sweeteners, cinnamon, four syrup flavors (French vanilla, hazelnut, vanilla, caramel), hot chocolate, and mini marshmallows. Additionally, there’s a glass teapot with a selection of teas in the kitchen.
- The living room provides plush seating, with the couch doubling as a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests.
- The house is equipped with USB outlets and wireless chargers for guests. An upstairs bedroom features a convenient desk.
- A spacious deck extends from the side of the house, accessible via the screen porch without steps or the back staircase. It features a gas grill, a two-person swing, and a large dining table with an umbrella, ensuring delightful outdoor meals with your loved ones.
- From our house, deck, and screen porch, you can enjoy an excellent view of the Liberty University monogram on Liberty Mountain. This iconic landmark is beautifully illuminated every evening, creating a stunning backdrop for your stay.
- We also offer a large fire pit at the back of the house, complete with comfortable chairs with cup and phone holders. Please note that we do not provide extra firewood.
Our photographs truthfully represent our home’s appearance without any photo manipulation.
We would like to outline the following guidelines to ensure your experience is exceptional:
Early check-in and late checkout are available for $30 per hour, upon request and with prior approval. Please see the Guest Book at the home for full details.
Security Cameras: To ensure the safety and security of all our guests, be aware that the outdoor areas around our house, such as the decks, backyard, front yard, and driveway, are outfitted with motion-activated security cameras. While these cameras are not monitored live, the recorded footage can be accessed and reviewed in an emergency.
Please ensure that the number of guests matches your reservation. Our base rate covers up to 6 guests. For each additional guest beyond 6, there is a $20 per night fee.
For safety and insurance reasons, only registered guests are permitted on the property during your stay. Outside visitors or unregistered guests are not allowed without prior host approval.
We kindly ask that you help us keep the space peaceful and secure for everyone:
No late-night parties or events that may disturb neighbors
Respect quiet hours between 11 PM and 7 AM
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Hot tub: Please follow all rules in our Hot Tub Guide, located in the welcome book, and those posted by the Hot Tub towels storage area. If you’d like to use it, please inform us in advance. Avoid using self-tanners or skin products, as they can cause damage that requires professional cleaning.
If deep cleaning is necessary, a $100 to $150 fee may apply to cover the restoration costs.
Noise: To be considerate neighbors, please keep noise levels down between 11 pm and 7 am. Potential noise from the train.
Shoes: To help maintain cleanliness, we kindly request that you leave your shoes outside the bedrooms.
Illegal Activities: Strictly prohibited.
Air Conditioning: To ensure the air conditioning unit operates efficiently and to prevent malfunctions, please avoid setting the thermostat below 68°F. Lower temperatures may cause the unit to freeze and stop working. Also, please keep the heat below 73°F to help conserve energy.
Washer and Dryer: A washer and dryer are not available for guest use.
Emergency Exits: In an emergency, guests should use the front or back doors. The kitchen offers direct access to the screened porch and deck via the back door.
Check in: Guests have the option to perform a self-check-in. However, our friendly staff is always available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. We reside next door.
Refunds: Refunds are not issued for inclement weather, late arrivals, or early departures, minor cleaning issues, or if any amenity is unavailable or cannot be fixed before or during your stay. For financial protection, consider a travel insurance policy.
