Toucan Tango ~ 1 block to beach + Pier Park & 30a ~ 1966 beach bungalow

Toucan Tango is a one of a kind property that has a style unlike any other on the beach. It is just steps from the sand and located in highly desired Laguna Beach on the quiet west end. It's truly a haven for those that enjoy a low key vacation yet want to be close to all the fun of 30A and PCB. The best part is the 90 second walk to the beach! Located 5 miles from Rosemary Beach to the West & 5 miles from Pier Park to the East. One of the safest, least crowded areas of the Emerald Coast.

We gave this 1966 bungalow an extreme makeover in 2020. As you will notice, it has many personal touches that have made it welcoming to family and friends.

Be sure to discover the nooks and crannies of Toucan Tango if you need a break from the "fun". Vintage items, games and books will bring you back to a simpler time. I love the imperfection of natural treasures and hand made objects - they each tell a story. Some of the items you see on the walls and scattered about are personal creations, family items, places we've been - all reflect who we are.

If you're curious about something, please don't be shy about asking. I'm naturally inquisitive myself so bring it on!

We like to share our home with other families so they may also create lasting memories.

Wonderful Stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house was even better than we expected. The beds were so comfortable, plenty of seating in the house, kitchen was stocked with many things needed for cooking. The outdoor shower was awesome as well! The host was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. We definitely would love to stay again in the future!

Amazing stay!

We loved this property! The walk to the beach was short and had close beach access. We had 2 families consisting of two, almost 3 year olds, a 5 year old, an 8 year old and a 10 year as well as 2 sets of parents and everyone had plenty of space and a great experience! Less vacation traffic on this end but still close to all the activities PCB offers. Would definitely book again!

Wonderful stay

The house is very cozy and beautifully equipped - nothing is missing. The location is fantastic. We enjoyed wonderful peace and quiet, yet the beach was just a short walk away. Communication with Diane was excellent. Highly recommended!

The house is lovely. The decor is unique and memorable, the bedding comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We absolutely loved the location. It is rare to find such a special home to rent.

Spring Break Getaway

It was such a relaxing stay. The house was close to the beach and was a perfect size for our family. The mattresses were all super comfortable which is important. The added bonus was the cute decor. I highly recommend choosing Toucan Tango for your vacation!

Easy walk to beach access!

This property was clean and spacious and equipped with everything needed for a beach stay. It’s a short walk to the beach and the wagon made it convenient to carry coolers and chairs. There are plenty of restaurants a short drive away or the space has everything needed to cook in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful!

We had one family with 2 teens and another family with an 8yr old and everyone loved the house! We loved being close to the beach in a thoughtfully designed home! Each family had their own bathroom and the kitchen was great! The landscaping at the property is fantastic as well! I will definitely be dreaming of another visit to Toucan Tango!

Wow! Toucan Tango did not disappoint!

While we love being together as a family....we need space! This one provided a place for everyone to hang without being on top of each other. So comfortable and we all loved how the place was decorated. Great beds, spacious and beautiful kitchen. Easy and quick walk over to the beach with 2 access points to choose from! Definitely will be back...places like this are hard to find.

More than Toucan Tango :)

Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect. Toucan Tango is just as beautiful as pictured. We had 3 adults, 3 teens, and 2 elementary kiddos in our group and it was well suited for all. - Such a short walk to the beach. Umbrella, wagon, chairs, small cooler, and toys provided.- Neighborhood is quiet and not in a tourist filled area.- The kitchen had everything you could need for meal preparation. - Initial rolls of TP, paper towels, and laundry detergent provided.The Rumpus Room area does get a bit warmer than the rest of the home. We used a portable fan (also provided) along with the ceiling fan that kept it relatively comfortable. Not sure if much can be done about it given it's at the back of the house and has a lot of natural light coming in.We would definitely stay at this property again. Thanks for having us!

Tremendous Value. Completely new inside. This home is special

We had a last minute trip to the beach for family fall break and Warren Beach Rentals recommended Toucan Tango that was new on their program. This home was absolutely perfect for our family. Could not have been more pleased. The house is located perfectly in a low traffic area, easy stroll to the beach, about a block. There is a deeded beach walkover and NO crowds on the beach.. This was fantastic. Home is incredibly well equipped and the owners have clearly put a lot of time and money into making this into the perfect little beach cottage. Tons of space, lots of room, and we appreciated the special touches throughout. We truly enjoyed our stay and cant wait to return. We give this the highest possible rating.

Clean and Spacious and Relaxing

Wonderful beach house! It is a very spacious ranch with many different "spots" to read, take a nap, sit and chat or just have a minute to yourself. The house is casual with great attention to the decor, which we enjoyed. The bedrooms are spacious with very comfy beds and the bunk room was a hit for our teenage daughter who had it to her self. We did have an issue with the number of bathrooms, as the before mentioned teenager spends ALOT of time getting ready, and she used the hall bath. The other bathroom is an ensuite with the smaller queen room which our older daughter used. Would have been nice to have an ensuite bathroom in the king room, just for convenience. But definitely not a huge deal. The outdoor shower was such a joy after a hot sandy day at the beach. No need to bring any beach items as the house has it covered...umbrellas, chairs, toys and even a wagon to pull it all to the beach. It was very hot the week we were there, so the only suggestion we would make is to install a ceiling fan in the main living area to circulate the AC better. Fun and relaxing vacation for us all.

The best of everything!!

Yes! All of the good stuff from all of the other raving reviews plus more. One of my concerns before arriving at this property was its proximity to Panama City Beach because I do not enjoy the vibe, crowds or restaurants at PCB. Let me reassure you that you don’t even realize that you are anywhere near that area. There are no obnoxious condos, mobs of people, or drinking party vibes in this area. This home and location are very quiet and private. The walk to the beach is SO close (even my 7 year old had no complaints). The shops, restaurants and grocery stores in the area all seem to be new. We drove to Destin a couple of the rainy days which was not far at all. The nearest beach to the home (2-3 minute walk!) wasn’t crowded. The water was perfectly clear, the sand sugary white. We saw dolphins, crabs, a huge sea turtle, many living sand dollars, sting rays and more beautiful shells than we have ever seen. The home feels large, with ample space for everyone. The linens and furniture are comfortable and good quality. There was enough toilet paper, dish soap, and paper towels that we did not have to supply our own. There is no ocean view but you can smell the salt air and get there in two minutes so pretty close to perfect! This home was great for our family vacation (myself, my husband, 17 yr old son, & 7 yr old daughter)!

A hidden gem

My husband and I stayed at this house for our honeymoon and were sad to leave! It’s beautifully decorated and within walking distance to the beach. The showers and beds were wonderful and had all the amenities we could ever need! We would definitely stay again.

We are both originally from Maryland and lived there until 2022. Our new home is located amongst the rolling hills & wineries of Loudoun County, Virginia. When feel like escaping the chill we head down to Toucan Tango. The trinkets and decor reflect who we are - our family heritage, places we've visited and treasures we've discovered.

Toucan Tango is located in the quiet, safe and charming side of PCB. Originally, developed in the 1960's and named Laguna Beach.

It's the home of Thomas' Donuts and Carousel Market. You'll feel like you stepped back in time with the annual golf cart Independence Day Parade. Great for families or couples who enjoy uncrowded beaches and privacy.

Perfect location in the middle of vacation fun. 10 minutes from Pier Park to the east and 10 minutes from 30a to the west. Are you in a cut-offs & tiki bar mood or dress-up & gourmet mood? You'll have your pick.

It has a unique location in the Twin Lakes section of Laguna Beach. The house is placed on the corner on our street which is the ideal spot to watch the parade of dog walkers and bike riders. The side yard is the perfect spot to sip your wine and watch the sunset to the west.
