The bearhouse is a jem. Super clean, tasteful, and amenities like a luxury hotel. We loved the southwest decor and Eloy was an excellent host. We had to cut our stay short, due to a family emergency back home. Eloy couldn't have been more kind or accommodating. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay.5* review.

This was the perfect house for our trip to NM. The house and the yard were clean and well maintained in a very quiet neighborhood. Close enough, yet far enough from the airport. Great communication with the property manager. I appreciated that we were able to check in slightly earlier than listed since we arrived earlier in the day. I would definitely recommend this property for your stay.

We had a wonderful long weekend in New Mexico for a family wedding. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend. The host was was quick to respond to questions. The outdoor space was relaxing and quaint. I would highly recommend staying at this home if you are in the area.

Very pleasant stay in this home during our quick getaway to ABQ. Listing was accurate and communication from the property manager was very good. We did not use the outdoor space as much as we'd like due to weather and bugs but the place suited our needs well.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute property off Spain road in the NE part of ABQ. The house has high ceilings, is very clean, and has nice touches throughout. The two bedrooms were comfortable and the two bathrooms clean with everything needed, including a few extras. The living room has a lot of natural light, is comfortable, spacious, and nice. It opens to the back yard, which we used in the evening and it was pleasant to sit outside. There are several sitting places in the backyard: one directly outside the living room doors, one a bit up with a table with fire (next to it is a grill) and one more just outside of one of the bedroom doors. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with useful appliances, bowls, utensils. We enjoyed the coffee grinder for our morning coffee. Everything is well organized. There is also a guitar in the living room :)We enjoyed the bike ride using the bike (and helmet and tire pump) provided by the hosts. We walked to several restaurants (Basque, a New Mexican place) and drove to a few others nearby. Sprouts grocery is also very close and was convenient.The communication with the host/agency was always very quick and clear.We enjoyed our stay!

Perfectly appointed & well managed

This was a great sized home for 4 with a beautiful courtyard. Everything was easy from the minute I booked, and management provided a website with EVERYTHING we needed. Would absolutely recommend.

This was an excellent place to stay for my wife and me. First: it was sparkling clean. That’s always a good start. Second, it was beautifully decorated inside and out. The furnishings (couches, dining area, beds) were all pleasant and welcoming. The court yard area was amazing. Shade! And some green grass and all the patio furniture you would ever need. The mural on the dividing wall was stunning. From what we learned it was drawn by the owner’s daughter. I could look at it all day. Kitchen was well equipped. We lacked nothing. The washer and dryer were super new and handy. It was a great stay and we WILL be back. Price was competitive with a nicer hotel but so much more space and peace and quiet here. Never heard a peep from the neighbors. Loved it!

We loved the bear house!

My wife, four year old son and I stayed for several nights and we loved it. The house was very clean, just as described, and had plenty of amenities. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the back yard, which has a nice lawn, patio table and chairs, a fire pit with seating, grill, and a gorgeous mural. The neighborhood is very safe. We took walks around the area after dinner and felt very comfortable doing so and the house is right by many good restaurants and stores. If we went to Albuquerque again we would definitely want to stay here. My son is still talking about how he misses running around the backyard.

Pure perfection

We loved the Bearhouse! Great location, relaxing inside and out, with all the comforts of home. We will definitely return. The mural in the backyard is breathtaking.

Amazing home in Bear Canyon

The house is lovely. It has beautiful courtyard with an amazing mural. Fantastic neighborhood. Close to hiking and biking trails, coffee shops and restaurants. Not far from downtown and other sites. I highly recommend staying here.

relaxing getaway

This cozy home helped to make our first trip to NM truly enchanted. The host is very responsive and was kind enough to resolve a last-minute booking issue that was our fault. This home is well-located and close to the Emery trail, which we enjoyed hiking(incredible views in the Sandria foothills). The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and grill our meals. I hope we get another chance to revisit!

Nice and Quiet

Everything went well at the property from the time we opened the outer gate/door to the time we departed. All the dishes were of nice quality, bathrooms were clean and well appointed with towels. Dining table was HUGE!! We are planning to come back to this place in the near future

Convenient to shopping and restaurants

Good area of Albuquerque to stay. Lots of good restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the house and the fireplace in the winter was wonderful. Kitchen is everything needed including a blender. The bathrooms have soap, shampoo and conditioner. Very thoughtful.
