Inlet View Cottage in North Kenai

Year-round cottage sleeps 2 with 1 bed & 1 bath. This is Discover Kenai's mother-in-law (MIL) garden-level unit in the main house with a private entrance just through the door to the main house. The Cottage offers magnificent views of Cook Inlet, Twin Glaciers, Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Iliamna, and Mt. Spur, (all 3 are active volcanoes). This property has an abundance of wildlife including Moose, Eagles, Beluga whales (seasonal), an occasional Bear and more. There is Large yard, picnic table and fire-pit to share. Located ten minutes from downtown Kenai and the Kenai River.

We have just shy of 1 acre on this property, with borough land to one side in the wooded area that you are free to walk through to get further down the bluffs if you’d like. We live here with our daughter, 3 dogs, and chickens. IF YOUR DOGS ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH CHICKENS, PLEASE KEEP THEM ON A LEASH IF THE CHICKENS ARE ROAMING.

There are 3 rental units on the property. You can definitely expect to cross paths with us during your stay - we work from home and like to spend as much time outside as possible. You won’t be disappointed with the comfort of your unit or the views of the inlet. We’re amazed every single day. We hope something amazes you during your stay!

You are welcome to build a fire at the fire pit while you’re here, as well as use the bbq grill near your rental unit. Make use of our hammock in the trees and, of course, you can go down the slide off the deck!

We do live here on the property. You will almost certainly see us at least once during your stay. You can always wave us down for something if you see us. If not, feel free to use the app or text/call directly.

Please note: cats are not allowed due to owner allergy. If you are traveling with dogs, please do let us know that after you book and keep in mind that we also have dogs. We also have a toddler. Our dogs are super social and love to play. Our toddler also loves dogs. IF YOUR DOGS ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH CHICKENS, PLEASE KEEP THEM ON A LEASH IF THE CHICKENS ARE ROAMING.
