Simplemente no hay nada mejor que esto. "Breakwater Lodge" es una cabaña de troncos de 4 estaciones bellamente hecha a mano completamente renovada con la incorporación en 2018. Se encuentra idílicamente en la costa oriental del lago Mooselookmeguntic, el cuarto lago más grande de Maine, con espectaculares puestas de sol y vistas del monte. Washington en la distancia. Un gran muelle sube por encima del rompeolas y está hecho para saltar en el lago. El porche de tres estaciones es perfecto para leer y escuchar el llamado de los locos. Una majestuosa chimenea de piedra requiere fuegos acogedores para terminar el día. Esta casa duerme cómodamente 10 en 3 dormitorios y 2 lofts y tiene 3 baños completos. Se encuentra a solo 15 minutos en coche de la ciudad de Rangeley. (Lo siento, no se admiten mascotas).

Again, we loved our stay at the Breakwater Lodge. The home had everything we needed and we enjoyed the outdoor and indoor fireplaces. Having wood available was a wonderful amenity. Our family enjoyed fishing from the dock and kayaking on the lake.

Wonderful stay at an exceptional property. Our week at breakwater lodge was amazing in every way. The home is a perfect combination of rustic charm, high quality craftsmanship and modern conveniences including comfortable bedding, well appointed comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen. The outside property is simply amazing with open water views, expansive dock, beautiful large and private yard and a breakwater that provides for calm water swimming experience. We also appreciated the concierage service as well as excellent communication and service with Morton and Furbish.

Breakwater Lodge was a wonderful place to experience a three generation family vacation! The spacious house and private waterfront were the perfect backdrop to enjoy family and the outdoors. The house was well appointed with everything we needed, including a large dining table that accommodated all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Breakwater Lodge

We have stayed in numerous homes over the last several years for our adult snowmobile trip. This home was by far the best yet! Cant say enough of how gorgeous this home was. The views of the lake were amazing! The open floor plan allowed us to all be together the entire time. We would highly recommend this home for a large family or fun get a way with friends.

Another great vacation with our family at this lakefront home. We had everything we needed and all was as expected. Love the dock, boathouse, fireplaces etc. Great that wood was also provided for us. Rental management company very responsive to our questions. Thank you!

We Took to the 5 Star Cabin in the Woods

Breakwater Lodge is an excellent balance of a classic Rangeley camp and modern living. Although it has a fully appointed kitchen, 3 fulls baths, and a washer/dryer, it never felt anything but charmingly rustic. The three main floor bedrooms were perfect for adults. The lofts are more suitable for children and teens. We had amazing weather for September, and spent most of our time relaxing at the end of the dock, listening to the loons.

Great Getaway!

We just spent a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at this property. It is rustic, but a perfect spot. The house was clean, very large, very well-equipped with everything and so private. The dock was perfect for our boat and our dog loved swimming off the beach every day. Even though we have lived in Maine our whole lives, we truly felt as if we had a great Maine experience. This house helped us relax, unwind and unplug. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin Unfortunately when we arrived on Sunday the cabin had a definite smell that someone had smoked pot in the cabin. We immediately called Morton and Furbish to let them know. The smell lingered the entire stay. Great location Enjoy your weekend

Breakwater lodge review

We love this vacation rental and hope to rent this again next year. We did have a few issues, but Morton Furbish staff were great and very responsive. One light on the lock is out and I would suggest this get fixed. Also, window in the dining area needs a screen. Thank you!

A Very Relaxing Weekend

This is the 2nd year we have rented 585 Moose Lodge. It is the quintessential Maine Camp - very rustic, yet all the conveniences one would need. We cooked some great meals, and the kitchen was completely equipped. The property is peaceful and private, with a great, safe place to keep our boat. Our dog was so happy being able to chase a tennis ball on the huge piece of land, or going swimming off the gradual entry. We heard a symphony of loons, the chirping of some baby wood peckers, and the wonderful sound of small waves lapping at the shore. What a wonderful long weekend!

What a beautiful property

We loved our stay at Breakwater Lodge. It is a beautiful home, easy to live in, in a remarkable place. We'd love to come again and again. My only "constructive criticism" is regarding the range top. The burners need to be adjusted so that it is possible to simmer. Currently, even the lowest setting on each of the burners causes things to come to a full boil. That said, the kitchen is really great and so well equipped! It was a joy to cook there. Thanks Very Much! Tim Reynolds

Perfection!

A group of 10 friends stayed here for our annual trip. This property was perfect. Just as advertised. Spotlessly clean, plenty of room, and a lovely dock. This property had all the amenities and the location cannot be beat. We are already planning our trip back next year!

Relaxing weekend

The house was beautiful and immaculate. The lake view was breathtaking! My only thing to comment on is that the bedroom with the bunk beds can only be accessed by a steep ladder. Just something to be aware of. I would highly recommend the Oquossoc Grocery for takeout pizza. We would definitely return to this house.

Best Stay Ever

We have stayed at several different kinds of properties over the years and this by far was the easiest communication, prompt responses and best appointed place we’ve stayed at. For the Thanksgiving Holiday I had brought my own different pans and pie plates and they had everything. I even brought my own spices and they had that as well. Great open family design which is what you want for a family gathering.

Perfection!

We were a group of six adults (brother, two sisters and our spouses) and this property easily provided a beautiful setting, an open and highly equipped kitchen and accommodations for all to comfortably sleep during our stay. Our Fall getaway showcased all the beautiful foliage Maine has to offer and the views of the lake at the edge of the property was a highlight each day. A nice touch that we all appreciated was that there was not a television on the main floor, allowing us to spend quality time together: we played charades, sang, and had a great time being together! We will remember this vacation with such beautiful memories! Thank you, it surpassed our expectations by far and we will recommend this special property to everyone.
