A great place to hang with friends, Bourbon Blue is your destination for larger groups visiting the Bourbon Trail. Enjoy the barrel sauna, 75" Roku TV with Guest Mode & deep couch in living room, 40" Roku TV with Guest Mode in each bedroom, multiple covered outdoor gathering spaces including dining space for ten & firepit, horseshoes, connect four, putting green, fully-equipped kitchen & bar area, foosball table & game space, and most importantly - serenely comfy beds! Located 8 minutes from downtown Bardstown and a straight shot down main street toward Louisville. Bourbon Blue is waiting!

The space
Bourbon Blue is located along a main road (only two lanes, though) connecting Louisville and Bardstown, but is very quiet indoors and has a privacy fence. A sound machine is provided in the only room with a window that faces the street, but we haven't found it to be a problem.

Description
Welcome to Bourbon Blue, the perfect spot for a fun getaway with friends or family! If you’re planning a trip to the Bourbon Trail, this is the place to be for larger groups, with nearly 3000 square feet, 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, and flexible sleeping arrangements. We can sleep up to 10, but we have found smaller groups also enjoy the home so they may have their own bedrooms!

Kick back in the spacious living room, where a deep, comfy couch and a massive 75" Roku TV make it the ideal hangout zone. Each bedroom has its own 40" Roku TV too, so everyone can enjoy their favorite shows in bed. All TVs have Guest Mode, which will sign you out of your streaming services on your checkout day!

Step outside and discover our awesome covered gathering areas. Whether you're dining outdoors or chilling by the firepit, these spaces are perfect for enjoying the fresh air and good company. And don’t miss out on the barrel sauna – it's the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the Bourbon Trail and all that Kentucky has to offer.

Our fully-equipped kitchen and bar areas make it easy to whip up meals and drinks for the group. Plus, we've got a foosball table and a game space to keep the good times rolling.

When it’s time to crash, you’ll love our super comfy beds. After a restful night’s sleep, you’ll wake up ready for another day of adventure.

We’re just eight minutes from downtown Bardstown, just outside the formal city limits, on one full acre of land. Whether you’re here to check out the local distilleries, shop, or dine, everything’s close by.

Bourbon Blue is all set to be your home away from home. Come on over and make some great memories – we can’t wait to have you!

Guest access
The entire home is yours for the length of your stay, minus a small storage room. The entire 1 acre property with ample parking is also at your disposal. The side door (main entrance) has an automated lock, so you will be able to come and go as you please.

Other things to note
Please ensure you read and agree to our house rules before your stay. The guestbook also includes helpful hints about your stay. Digital guestbook is available via QR code when you get inside the home.

A perfect host and wonderful home, we couldn't be more pleased with our stay. 7 comfy beds with nice linens, an abundance of pillows and blankets. AC that worked amazingly well for the 90 degree weather we had, a kitchen stocked with all the cooking essentials for large group, huge dining room table and a dishwasher to really seal the deal. The host, Melissa, was actively responsive and very helpful & friendly.

Perfect location for spendi g day at Churchill Downs in Louisville and for the Makers Mark distillery tour.Close to downtown Bardstown that has great little shops and restaurants. Our property manager always available and the only thing you will need to bring is what you wear. The kitchen well supplied with appliances and supplies and plenty of towels for everyone

Perfect house and location

The owners of the property are amazing. From booking to check-out and after they were very kind, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay amazing. The property was very convenient to town and the distilleries. It was decorated very well and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We had an absolutely amazing time there. The bar area in the basement was perfect for our family and has a small refrigerator and sink. The outdoor seating was great as well. My family loved the wicker hanging patio chairs!

House and amenities were very nice. We were disappointed in the yard set up. The pictures show all the various items, they just don't show that they are all separated and in different parts of the yard. Privacy fence in the back would make a big difference.Another issue was the super hard pillows.

This house was absolute amazing for our group of 7 friends. The house was extremely clean, kitchen furnishings were abundant, everything labeled and plenty of space. The owner was very respondent to all my messages and reached out several times to see if we needed anything. This will be our top choice when we come back.

Bourbon trail gem

Group of five guys felt right at home. Had everything we needed. Comfortable and clean and friendly host. Would stay again next year if we can pull the same trip together. Only drawbacks were the proximity to the highway, meant there was road noise if you were in front or beside the house. At night, we sat by the campfire in the awesome covered enclosure and didn’t even notice it though. Slept great too. Showers and baths are nice and the kitchen is great too. WiFi is fast and tv is good setup as well. Very comfortable.

Great Spot in Bardstown

The property was perfect for our needs and the host was incredibly communicative and helpful. Everyone had their own, comfortable room (four adult men), the common areas were great, and it was conveniently located near all of the local distilleries and shopping. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a great meal, and even had sharp knives which is rare! We did find that Uber didn't work as well as we had hoped, and the local car service had an hour wait, so for future stays we'd arrange transportation ahead of time. Would definitely recommend this spot to friends.

Obsessed with this House!!

We visited Bourbon Blue for my husbands 50th birthday weekend - 7 adults fit very comfortably and more could have joined with no problem! The house is so cute and was EXACTLY what we wanted for the weekend. Downstairs game room/bar is super fun and the couch upstairs could hold all of us while we watched a game. It was too cold and windy to sit outside but the yard is big and would be fun if we’d been able to use it. We may make this a yearly stay!

This property is great and in the perfect location for distillery tours in Bardstown. It may sound silly, but what we liked the most was that there were plenty of towel hooks and towel bars in each bathroom and plenty of towels. The host also provided plenty of toilet paper and even paper towel. We travel a lot, and too many places don't provide those things. It was really nice to know we had it. It's the little things that make this house even more enjoyable. Highly recommend. 10/10

A WONDERFUL Stay at Bourbon Blue!

I had an incredible stay at Bourbon Blue with a group of friends all coming to explore the Bourbon Trail! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was beautifully decorated and had plenty of space with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect retreat after a long day with multiple tours.Being centrally located allowed us to explore multiple distilleries, in different regions, and we never had that far to travel to return and relax for the evening.The host was fantastic: quick to respond, friendly, and had great recommendations for the area.If you're planning a Bourbon Trail adventure, Bourbon Blue is the place to stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely book again in the future!

Great distillery trip with friends!

We had four adult couples travel to Bardstown to visit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. The house was easy to get to, close to a lot of attractions, and held all of us with ease! There was plenty of seating at the kitchen table for us for meals and games, lots of kitchen amenities for us to make meals at home rather than have to find restaurants, and plenty of space on the couch for all of us to hang out in the evenings! The description was accurate, the house was clean, and everything went smoothly! This house was good for our adult only trip, but would also have been good if our kids were with us. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back in the future.

The outdoor areas were just as amazing, with a large porch and wonderful backyard perfect for sipping bourbon in the evenings and a fire pit that quickly became our go-to hangout spot after dinner.What truly made the stay unforgettable was the attention to detail. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from local recommendations to a stocked coffee bar and plush linens. Being so close to some of the most iconic distilleries was the cherry on top! we were just minutes from tastings, tours, and unforgettable Kentucky scenery.Whether you’re a bourbon enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing getaway, this house is a dream. This place was incredible! Don’t pass this one by…it won’t stay available for long! The property was immaculate, spacious, amenities plentiful! We really enjoyed the community, the property, and of course sightseeing. Your recommendations for bourbon distilleries to see and check out were amazing and convenient to get to and from. We loved unwinding and enjoying time with friends. We will for sure be back. 10/10 experience all around. Once this catches on, I suspect it will be hard to book. Run and don’t second guess booking this incredible place!! Simply an amazing time!! Thank you again!!!

Fantastic stay here! We were attending a music festival in Louisville, but wanted to hit the distilleries as well. Bardstown was a great location for us and this place was PERFECT!! Very clean and well furnished. Plenty of space to unwind and hang out together. Lots of beds. This notably feels more like a home than a VRBO. It has been well maintained. Furniture is stain free, no paint scratches on the walls. Very impressed and we would certainly stay here again!

We live in Florida, but Melissa was born and grew up in Kentucky. We still have family here and we love to stay in Bardstown!

Distillery tours are a hobby for us, but we also love to immerse ourselves in the peaceful country while we are here. In particular, we like to visit some of the local restaurants and shops. Mammoth Cave is also an amazing place to visit. You will find that the people here in Bardstown are just so nice!

We are considered "Super Hosts" and "Premier Hosts" (depending on the platform) because this is our second vacation rental home. We have another place in Bardstown that caters to smaller groups. It is considered in the top 1% of all vacation rental homes on the other platform. We are owner/hosts and we love it!

I love where this house is located. It is between Louisville and Bardstown, but in a country area, while being right along the main (two lane) connecting road. Bardstown is, of course, the start of the Bourbon Trail, and considered the Bourbon Capital of the World. Just great location all around.

There are not many homes in Bardstown that can hold larger parties. This home has lots of space and bedrooms, with multiple relaxation spaces indoors and outdoors. It's really a great place to spend some time when you are done exploring Kentucky for the day.
