We usually vacation in the Lowcountry every summer and have stayed at various properties. This takes the cake. We decided to vacation with our 2 dogs this summer and found this house because of it was extremely dog friendly. It really was. Even without dogs, we would have loved this property. The icing on the cake was the huge fenced in back yard. Our dogs loved this and we loved them having a safe place to go outside. House came equipped with absolutely everything you could nee as far as supplies and amenities. I loved that there was no carpet because that’s a plus if you have dogs.

The view was spectacular! The only downside was the dog poop in the backyard. Before we could enjoy being outside, we had to pick up a lot of dog poop. I will never understand why pet owners don’t clean up after their dogs.

The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs to play. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. I am use to salt and pepper being stocked, so had to make trip to store. Booking was easy and everything was clean and working perfectly when we arrived. We hope to return again to this beautiful property.

Kitchen is well equipped for family meals, loved that the beach was not crowded (even over July 4th), the outdoor shower was great for hosing off and the beach wagon was a nice surprise with a baby and toddler and all we needed to haul back and forth. Highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon!

This house could not have been more perfect for us and our kids and grandchildren and dog. It has a lovely, lovely fenced in yard, and the most gorgeous views from the house and deck and screen porch. It had everything we could possibly need including a beach cart and chairs. Maintenance was very helpful with the few issues that were taken care of immediately. I will definitely stay in this house again.

The fenced in yard was perfect and the beach was not at all crowded. The location was ideal and seemed to be in the the perfect spot for having the beach to yourself- there were a few days where we were almost the only people on the beach in our “area”. We were able to take our dog and had no problem with the fenced back yard. House was well equipped and we had no issues at all!

Great place for our family

Reviewer Comments: We had a great visit to IOP with our stay for 3 generations at 3204 Palm Blvd. The house has all hard flooring (no carpet to get wet and sandy) four comfortable bedrooms (each with two pillows per bed) and three nice bathrooms with new fixtures. The kitchen/great room is all open so you can cook, eat and relax all with good views of the ocean. This is not a "fancy" house it is a solid, older home that has been well maintained and updated. Everything was clean. The HVAC units are clearly new, The backyard is amazing for hanging out with your family/kids/dogs. We have rented at IOP for years as well as other SC/NC beaches from Kiawah up to Oak Island. This has been one of the best houses ever. The kitchen literally had everything we needed to Cook EVERY day of our stay. We do not like to eat out and there were all the pans, pots, appliances you could need. This property does not allow renters to leave behind items like spices so bring your own if you plan to consume it, but everything you neet to prepare it is here. As with any rental we found three problems as we got in and set up, We texted the property management and by the next day they wer.e handled. We would definitely come back to this property.

"Bare Minimum"

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Motel 6 of AirBnB, this house should be titled “Bare Minimum”. From the décor to the necessaries...all were the minimum. There is not a carpet in the house...nor a lot of windows that opened (no cross ventilation). The kitchen had no windows or a hood vent, so be prepared for the house to smell for days if you cook inside. There were no supplies..not even salt and pepper, or saran wrap.There were not enough pillows for the beds. There were a few spares in the closet but no pillow cases provided. The towels were thin and tiny and there were not enough provided for the number of guests. The location and lot were great, but sadly we had pouring rain for the entire holiday weekend so we were stuck in the house. If we had been able to be on the beach the entire time the house would have been annoying but ok. As we had to spend the entire trip inside, it was awful. Very little air movement. Was damp in house. The tv is on satellite dish...so kept going out due to the clouds. The wifi was spotty at best, when it worked at all. The grill worked fairly well.

Spacious home in a great location!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! It was quiet and serene, yet close to the activities in Charleston. The home was spacious and comfortable.
