Please note: Following the winter season, we noticed that the dock needed to be replaced. A brand-new dock has been ordered and is currently under construction. It will be installed shortly. In the meantime, please use caution when accessing the dock. Thank you for your understanding!

Winter Advisory: The steep driveway may be hazardous in snowy conditions. We strongly recommend parking at the nearby train station for safety. Use of the driveway is at your own risk.

Pets: Please note that we only accept dogs, with a maximum of 2 per reservation. They must be added to the reservation in advance, as a pet fee applies. If a pet is brought without being declared on the reservation, an automatic penalty of $300 per animal will be charged.

Guests: Only the guests listed on the reservation are permitted to access the chalet and its facilities. No additional visitors are allowed unless they have been declared and have paid the daily guest fee (price per person / per day).
**Pets: Please note that we only accept dogs and for a maximum of 2 par reservation. Make sure to add them to the reservation as there are fees assosciated with accepting them. An automatic surcharge penalty of 300$ per pet will be applied if not honored**

Make yourself at home—the entire apartment is yours to enjoy.

The chalet is set up for self-check in through a combination lock or a lockbox. The instructions to access the property will be sent to you by email and / or text message in the days before your arrival

**Only people registered on the reservation have access to the chalet,and its facilities. No guest will be tolerated unless they have paid their daily user fee (Price per person / per day)**

For all your questions or concerns, there is always someone available to respond quickly to all emails or messages during our office hours from 8am to 8pm local time (for more urgent matters, we are also easily reachable by phone).

Travelers are required to be of 25 years old at the time of booking.

We use our own secured systems to verify ID, send guest guide and for some communication.

Your reservation will result in you receiving a link for ID verification (Valid ID, agreement to rental contract, and security deposit that could go up to 750$). This needs to be done prior to receiving your guest guide and access codes to the property. The latter will be sent to you through another link a few days prior to your arrival.

If no issues arise, the deposit is fully refunded within 7 days post-checkout.

We had scheduled a five day stay but left on day four because the stay had become unpleasant.When we arrived, the water from the faucet was yellow and rusty. We were told to let the water run because this is normal when the snow melts. However, after running the water for about 30 minutes, the bathtub drain became blocked and the tub filled with rusty water. When it was unblocked the next day, the rust had stained the bathtub.We had to buy bottled water for drinking and cooking, and on the third day we even had to go to a friend’s house to take a shower. Although the issue was reportedly fixed on day three, by then the experience was already ruined and we did not feel comfortable trusting the water quality.The sofa has large stains.We could clearly hear the neighbours’ conversations, as well as them using the outdoor jacuzzi.The host offered a 10 percent discount on a future stay, which is disappointing considering the situation. We will not be returning.

Unsafe:The dock is not safe for use; it’s collapsing into the lake.The bottom step from the yard to the house is broken. A repair person was sent to fix it and could only remove it. He said it could not be fixed because the supports were too rotted and the entire staircase needs to be rebuilt.Pathway to the dock was difficult for athletic adults to use; steep, narrow and overgrown with greenery. Only after booking did we get notified that the driveway was steep and dangerous and they recommended that we park at the train station. Warning for those with children the rental is on a very busy streetMisleading:The listing pictures are very oldPrivate lake access is actually shared with another rental unit on the property.Some of the lake access pics are of the municipal beach (Note: the beach doesn’t allow dogs)Listed as renovated; patio furniture and bathroom were in bad shapeLocation isn’t as remote as it appears, neighbors on all sides only a few feet away. Noise of cars passing, the neighbors were quiet yet we could still hear themCustomer service hell:The property is managed by “Host Me” and is difficult to get in touch with unless you complain to VRBO so they call on your behalf.Host Me blamed the shortcomings on previous guests, the HOA, the city, the neighbors or that we just had unrealistic expectations. Still trying to get the 15% refund we were promised. They keep forgetting to process it & trying to lower the amountThere's more but I'm out of space

Tout a été bien manque peut-être air climatisé surtout que les chambres sont au deuxieme étage très chaud en canicule.Un lave vaisselle serait apprécié,en vacance pas toujours envie de faire la vaisselle. Ce ne sont que quelque suggestion! A par ça tout était ok. Merci !
